Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 The Liar Chen Hansheng

Xiao Rongyu wished so much that Chen Hansheng could throw away the piece of paper with the phone number on it. Unfortunately, Chen Hansheng still put it in his pants pocket.

At that moment, Xiao Rongyu felt as if she was about to lose Chen Hansheng. Although she had never really had him and had even rejected him before.

Xu Zhixi was happily humming a song in the dormitory. The other roommates were doing their own things. Chen Hansheng had already gone out. There were packages all over the floor that needed to be sorted out. Suddenly, Xiao Rongyu felt very sad and extremely homesick.

She picked up her phone and was about to call her father, but in the end, she held back.

Just now, reality had given Xiao Rongyu, who had grown up in a greenhouse, a good lesson. At Gangcheng No.1 Middle School, she was the goddess in everyone's eyes, but in the dormitory of Dongda University, everything was starting from scratch.

Just then, Chen Hansheng's voice suddenly came from the door again: "Xiao Rongyu, please come down and help me prove something. Otherwise, the dormitory aunt won't let me out."

Xiao Rongyu sniffed and stood up. She didn't want Chen Hansheng, the "heartless person", to see her true feelings inside.

"Let's go." Xiao Rongyu said coldly.

Chen Hansheng took her to the corner of the second floor and then looked at Xiao Rongyu thoughtfully.

"What do you want to do?" Xiao Rongyu didn't want to look directly at Chen Hansheng.

"The relationship between roommates in college is much more complicated than that in high school dormitories. You need to be cautious in your words and deeds."

As soon as Xiao Rongyu arrived at the dormitory, she had a small conflict with her roommate, which was like forcibly increasing the difficulty of her college life. Of course, the main reason was that Chen Hansheng was too flirtatious.

"Anyway, if you have any problems, just come to me directly." Chen Hansheng said slowly. Hearing the concern in Chen Hansheng's words, Xiao Rongyu's heart stirred slightly. But then she thought of him chatting and joking merrily with other girls just now, leaving her aside. She still felt extremely sad.

"Got it. Let's go downstairs quickly." Xiao Rongyu turned around and urged, against her will.

In such a completely strange environment, especially being so far away from home and with grievances in her heart, Xiao Rongyu actually wanted to stay with the ruffian-like Chen Hansheng for a while longer.

Chen Hansheng stared at Xiao Rongyu's slender and graceful back and thought to himself that in both his past and present lives combined, he had liked Xiao Rongyu for a full six years.

In a sense, Xiao Rongyu almost represented Chen Hansheng's entire youth.

Even though his mindset had changed after being reborn, he still couldn't really ignore Xiao Rongyu, which was why he specially came back to remind her.

"After all, we're fellow villagers and should help each other. Besides, if my confession had been successful that night, you would have been my girlfriend, and I should take good care of you."

Chen Hansheng said it very sincerely, and Xiao Rongyu was touched. She couldn't hold back her tears.

"You still keep making me sad. I didn't cry more than twice in the three years I was in Gangcheng, but you've made me cry twice in one day."

Xiao Rongyu was crying so sadly this time. It seemed that she wanted to vent out all the grievances along the way, the longing for home, and the sadness of being abandoned. And she had to suppress her voice to prevent others from hearing. The girl was beautiful, and she even looked good when she cried.

Xiao Rongyu sobbed. Her long eyelashes were covered with teardrops, looking as pure and beautiful as a lotus just out of the water. The teardrops seemed to be reluctant to leave her white skin and lingered there.

"You, you also hid that other woman's phone number."

Somehow, Xiao Rongyu added this sentence.

Xiao Rongyu was also confused. In fact, Chen Hansheng had nothing to do with her, and he could hide anyone's phone number. But Chen Hansheng turned his pants pocket inside out to prove: "That's not true. I threw it away just now."

Xiao Rongyu took a look. There was really nothing in the pants pocket, and she felt a little more at ease.

"You should have an inclusive heart when getting along with your roommates." Chen Hansheng reminded again.

Xiao Rongyu nodded to show she understood. "Then I'll go. You go upstairs." Chen Hansheng said.

Xiao Rongyu was taken aback for a moment and asked naively: "Didn't you ask me to send you out?"

Chen Hansheng smiled: "I just found a legitimate reason to call you out. Your girls' dormitory is now almost like a vegetable market, and people can come in and out freely."

"Chen Hansheng, you're really a liar." Xiao Rongyu said in a muffled voice.

Chen Hansheng reached out his hand to wipe her tears. Xiao Rongyu instinctively wanted to dodge, but after a moment of hesitation, she finally stood there gracefully, feeling the warmth of Chen Hansheng's fingers on her delicate skin.

Then, both of them tacitly remained silent. One went upstairs, and the other went downstairs.

After Chen Hansheng walked out of the girls' dormitory, he actually took out a piece of paper from his upper pocket. It was exactly the one that Xu Zhixi had just given him. This bastard had deceived Xiao Rongyu again.

The campus area of the College of Finance and Economics was much smaller compared to Donghai University. Chen Hansheng didn't need a signpost either. Relying on his memory, he came to the University Student Activity Center, which was the place where freshmen of the College of Finance and Economics reported.

Chen Hansheng first queued up at the payment office to pay the fees. The payment office was just like a hospital, where one could see the vicissitudes of the world. In the eyes of middle-aged parents, there was not only the joy of their children being admitted to university but also the reluctance to part with several thousand yuan of tuition fees.

After paying the tuition fees, Chen Hansheng took the receipt and went to Class 2, Public Administration, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences to register.

There were two tables placed at the registration office, with a middle-aged man and a female college student sitting there. The man was middle-aged, and the woman looked like a college student.

"Classmate, are you from Class 2, Public Administration?" The female college student asked.

"My name is Chen Hansheng, and I'm from Class 2, Public Administration." Chen Hansheng replied with a smile.

As the saying goes, you don't hit someone who smiles at you. Chen Hansheng himself was not ugly. He was tall and big. Although he had been tanned from doing farm work, he was healthy and full of vitality.

"My name is Hu Linyu, and I'm also a college student this year. We'll be classmates in the same class from now on." The girl introduced herself politely.

Of course, Chen Hansheng knew Hu Linyu. According to the normal development, Hu Linyu would be the monitor of the class for the four years of college and later be admitted as a selected official and enter the system to work.

Hu Linyu's appearance was just average. In a school like the College of Finance and Economics, she was the kind of person who would be lost in the crowd. Not to mention that she was very proactive in doing things and spoke very quickly, giving people a very capable feeling.

"This is our counselor, Teacher Guo Zhongyun." Hu Linyu introduced the middle-aged man beside her.

"Old Guo? I'll get to know him very well later." Chen Hansheng thought to himself.

Guo Zhongyun wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses. He was still in the stage of observing the students in the class. He greeted Chen Hansheng with a smile and then took out several registration forms and said: "Fill in your identity information and I'll arrange your dormitory for you by the way."

While Chen Hansheng was filling it out, Hu Linyu was a bit curious: "Didn't your parents accompany you here?"

"No, I came here by myself." Chen Hansheng replied.

"So amazing. You and another girl in our class are the only ones who registered alone. It's really admirable." Hu Linyu praised sincerely.

Hu Linyu spoke freely, but she didn't consider that there were still several parents accompanying their children to register beside them.

These were all future classmates. After hearing this, they felt a bit embarrassed and looked up at Chen Hansheng and Hu Linyu a few times. Hu Linyu didn't realize that she had said the wrong thing and was still busy, sweating profusely.

"It's not that amazing at all." Chen Hansheng said calmly: "I had no choice. My parents had already bought the tickets to Jianye, but something urgent suddenly happened in our hometown and they were delayed."

Hu Linyu was stunned for a moment. She didn't even react to the meaning of what Chen Hansheng said. But the faces of several classmates around looked much better.

The counselor Guo Zhongyun glanced at Chen Hansheng but didn't say anything.

After Chen Hansheng completed the formalities, he finally officially became a college student. He greeted Hu Linyu and then left directly.

Back then, Hu Linyu had a very good platform, starting as a selected official candidate. However, due to her personality problems, she was quite frustrated in the system and finally even took the initiative to resign.

There are always many people in this world who work hard and conscientiously, but their rewards are far less than they imagined.

In fact, if they were willing to look up from their busy work, take some time to observe and think, broaden their minds, and absorb the feedback from the surrounding environment, perhaps their lives could be even more brilliant.
