Eira slowly regain consciousness and was a young lady. The young lady looked at Eira with smile of relief.
"I see you are awake".
Eira gazed at the young woman, her expression completely puzzled.
"You've been out for over two days now, you severed quite the head trauma even with my healing magic I didn't think you would make a proper recovery".
'I've been out for two days and what the hell is a healing magic'. Eira thought as nothing made sense to her at the time.
Eira slowly stood up, her head still banging with headache.
"And might I forget, you were by a gentleman". The young lady added.
Eira furrowed her eye brows, her expression looking for an answer.
"He stayed with you throughout the days you were unconscious, he's quite the looker and if you're looking for him he's still here, you should see him over the counter to the left". The young lady explained finally lifting Eira face.
With a thankful nodd Eira left off to met the mysterious man. While walking through the building she noticed everything seemed very old, the thick walls, the narrow windows and timber frame structures everything looked like a medieval setting.
'What the hell is going on, is this some kind of village, or am I having a dream or have i been transported...'. She shook her mind off the last thought, there is just no way she had been transported into a fantasy world. It was just not possible or so she thought.
In the distant was man, a sat on down a stool, he's outfit looked so different from the world. He wore black pant and and a long jacket. Eira was gaze was at the back of the young so she couldn't paint a full picture on how he looked like.
But when she sat down on a stool beside she finally saw how he truly looked like.
He's face held an inscrutable look, however what was more noticeable was he's shredded body and broad shoulders as evident by the shape of the shape of his dress-shirt which the top two buttons were left undone.
He's red eyes met Eira's contrasting green eyes like looking deep into her soul.
"I see you're finally awake and well".
Eira was a bit startled about the suddenly gaze at Eira causing her stutter a little.
"A.. Am fine and thank you I heard that you brought me so I just wanted to say thank you".
"No worries it wasn't a big deal at all". The man wave dismissively.
After a short-wave silence blew on them. The dark-hair man brought something out of his pocket and placed it on the counter.
"Explain yourself what's this?". The man asked.
The strange thing was some kind of metal insignia it was rectangular in shape. The man then proceeded into giving it a light tap on the surface. Immediately a bright blue color gently illuminate the surroundings displaying an holographic image.
Eira was flabbergasted, her eyes glowing in amazement and at the same time with shocked.
"What the hell, how did you do that?". Eira was dumbfounded, of course she never seen anything like that it was something straight out of a Sci-fi movie.
The man became furious and slammed his fist on the counter generating a loud which immediately attracted Eira's attention.
"Don't play dumb I saw this with you and besides is this not your face in this image". He said gradually increasing his tone.
Eira was completely dumbfounded she had no clue what the black-hair was talking about. But as she stared deep into the holographic imagery she could she herself or someone who closely resembled her.
"I don't know what you're talking about, yeah this my face but I promise I had no memory of having this with I don't even know where am I, nothing makes sense anymore". Eira spoke in defense.
The man was not sure to believe afterall she could have a short case of amnesia after suffering a major head injury. However he still pestering her to see if she was the deceptive type.
"You're one of them bastards, you're a member of the Vanguards".
Eira looked at the man in frustration. She took a breather and composed herself not letting her anger get the best of her. Since he wouldn't believe then the best thing she could do is to tell him what and see whether he can come to an understanding with her.
Eira gave a rather comprehensive that explained everything that happened from the plane crash to the large halls of the library.
"So you survived a plane whatever that means and your crazy boss gets eaten by a monster and you enter a magical library where you ended up here". The man summarized.
Eira was expecting him to say something like
'She's totally lost it'.
'Head trauma got the better of her'.
Then all of a sudden the man nodded in believe. Everything Eira said seemed to aligned to what he believed.
He explained that the rather vague of description of a Kaleido and the library sounded like a ruin.
Kaleidoscopic creatures are monsters born from ruin linked to the underworld. They are monsters that possess immense strength and power making humans easy prey to feed on. But things changed.
Kaleidos first appeared 500 years ago crossing the bridge between the underworld the human world and brought mass destruction and mortality to the human. With the existence of Kaleidos in the human world brought a change in the balance of the universe which in the process gave humans the power or rather abilities to defend themselves.
The first person to receive to use this power was a man named Lysander Viel. Lysander A man with God-like abilities and with seven order great warriors with powerful magic abilities quickly overwhelmed the Kaleidos almost extinguishing them.
However even with the immense power of the newly profound humans it was already too late the world had already turned into a pile of rumble, buildings collapsed, the green withered away as they turned to crisp, everywhere turned into a living hell no different from where the Kaleidos came from.
Inorder to solve the problem Lysander searched through out the universe for ruins which could sustain humanity. Atlas he found a ruin an Oasis brimming with life, a paradise filled with fresh vegetation and animals. It was perfect for humanity to rebuild and become something greater.
However 300 years after Lysander passed away humans turned on each other leading to the great rebellion. The gifted humans got greedy they wanted the world Lysander built for themselves and wanted the non-gifted humans expelled from them world. With the ability to wield magic the non-gifted humans had the power to fight against the gifted. This lead to the never-ending rebellion between the gifted and the non-gifted humans. But with the might of the gifted humans they won the war and the non-gifted went back to the old world where they will have to deal with Kaleidos. Although they were victorious they dear not attack the non-gifted humans again.
Eira snapped back into reality from the long narration. Eira was quite captivated by the story. With everything the man said made her come to a realization that; she had somehow been transported into a dystopian world.
She looked at the holographic image again and carefully examined the information written in it.

"Am hungry why don't we get something to it, and my name is Rodric Thornfield". The man said.
He took the metal card from the counter and handed to Eira.
"Well my real name is Eira Garrison". Eira collected the card from Rodric's hands with a smile on her face.
They headed for a nearby for a tarven to eat. While walking in the dirty road of Utia village Eira saw many wonders she could see people using magic for various kinds of things from drying clothes to levitating heavy loads. It seems people were very found of magic so much so that its has become a part of life for them.
Eira and Rodric enter a tavern and took an empty table. Then they were approached by a young female server, the woman asked what they would like to eat.
As a man Rodric straight up ordered booze as for Eira she was quite unsure about what she wanted, This was the medieval age and all foods were either watery soup or meat Eira didn't like both especially with the latter she was a vegan which means no meat.
Eira watched at the way Rodric was drinking. He rushed each cup like a thirsty dog, he drank so ill-mannerly that each time he drank a full cup, half of it would have leaked from the gasp corners of his lip.
"So I see your clothing is different from the other it looks like something I would wear". Eira spoke with a bit irritation in her tone.
"That's because it's a clothing I bought from the new world". Rodric replied while finishing up his last drink.
Filled with frustration by the irritant in front of her. Eira finally let out a loud outburst yelling:
"Rodric would you stopped drinking like a madman".
Immediately as Eira shouted every eyes in the tavern turned at them and not because she shouted but because she said a rather familiar name.
"What did you say?". A man rang out in the midst of the crowd.
The skinny man approached their table his eyes looking for trouble.
"Did you know what you just said, you called the name of the most wanted man ever, even speaking his name makes you a criminal". The skinny man said.
"Uh... I beg your pardon but the man is no criminal and I am sure they are other people bearing the same name like that". Eira pouted.
The skinny man had this crazed laugh it felt like the man was going to burst any minute now.
"I assure you there is no one bearing the name Rodric and if they were, they would have changed it by years ago".
The skinny man pulled a nearby chair to their seat and sat. Then he began he's narration:
"Rodric although nobody knows is last name he was also known as the left handed demon of old world. He alone took down a whole division of the strongest Vanguard armies not only that their division Captains and brought back the head of one the lords. He did all that with, just guess". He paused waiting for an answer from Eira.
"Um... With magic". Eira looked at the skinny not sure of herself.
"Wrong, then was it an ability no, also wrong, he did that with nothing but his rage and strength". The skinny corrected.
"Wow sound like this Rodric fellow is very strong and a hero". Eira spoke while shifting her focus on Rodric, smiling sarcastically.
"Oh no, he wasn't a hero, that foolish action almost lead to another war between them and us. This made the most wanted man to ever live with his bounty to the 10's of billion of gold, that's is 30 generations worth of money and... ".
The skinny man was interrupted by the loud thud of the tavern door.
Entering the door was a huge muscular man his body bearly fitting through the doorhole, his big hands felt like it could easily crush a man's skull besides him were 6 his tiny gangs.
The big man approached the owner of the tavern, the owner looked like a ant compared to gigantic size.
"Please I promise you I will pay you tomorrow I just don't have enough with me right now". The owner plead bowing his head down.
"It too late, Mr. Topun, I came here for my money I shall get it unless...".
