Alt title: Five Minutes of Pain, Popcorn, and Puncture Wounds
The reinforced walls of the Association's combat arena had seen S-Rank battles.
But never this.
Never blades that couldn't break.Never Wolverine and Deadpool sharing the same damn fight card.
Jinwoo stood at the center. Calm, quiet, deadly — twin daggers at his sides.
Across from him, Logan rolled his shoulders. His chest already a patchwork of fresh scars and bloodstains, claws extended.
Deadpool was next to him, stretching his arms like a guy warming up for yoga.
"You sure this isn't overkill?" he asked no one in particular. "I mean, we could've just played dodgeball."
Jinwoo vanished.
Instantly.
The first hit came without warning.
A dagger sliced into Wolverine's side — flesh tore, blood gushed.
And then—metal.
Jinwoo's blade screeched against something solid beneath.
He'd hit bone.
But the bone didn't give.
Logan grunted, grabbed Jinwoo by the forearm, and slashed with his opposite claw.
The younger hunter blinked out just in time, but a long red line bloomed down his ribs.
From behind the glass, Woo Jin-Chul stiffened.
"Did he just get cut?"
The Chairman said nothing, but his jaw clenched.
Inside the arena, Jinwoo reappeared, slid back three steps, and pulled a small vial from his inventory.
He drank it.
Slowly, steadily, the slash on his side began to close. Not instantly. Not easily.
Deadpool pointed.
"Wait. You need potions? Oh, bro. We are not the same."
He turned to the fourth wall.
"Get a load of this guy. Protagonist with a health bar."
System pinged in his ear.

"Oh come on! I was giving color commentary!"
He sighed, pulled his katanas, and jogged in halfheartedly.
"Fine, fine. Let's get murdered."
Wolverine was already moving again — full sprint, claws dragging sparks across the ground.
Jinwoo met him head-on this time.
Daggers clashed with claws in a burst of metal and force. Jinwoo ducked a wild swing, cut a line across Logan's chest — and again, hit adamantium.
Flesh opened. Blood hit the floor.
But Logan didn't slow.
Didn't even flinch.
His face twisted into a grin that looked like it belonged in a horror movie.
"Keep slicing," he growled. "I've got time."
Jinwoo's eyes narrowed. He pivoted — quick and low — and caught Deadpool moving in on his right. No killing intent. Just chaos.
Still dangerous.
He struck.
A punch — clean, center mass.
CRACK.
Deadpool's spine bent in a way spines shouldn't. A hole the size of a grapefruit blew through his gut.
He slammed into the wall. Slumped.
Deadpool blinked.
Looked down.
"Oh. There goes my lunch."
He casually pulled a chunk of his own stomach out, muttered, "Is that my kidney or yesterday's burrito?" and shoved it back in.
As his torso knit back together, he raised a finger at Jinwoo.
"Rude. Very rude."
Wolverine hit next. A full claw swipe across Jinwoo's side.
This one connected.
Not parried.
Skin split. Muscle tore. Blood hit the floor.
Behind the glass, a staffer whispered, "He's bleeding again."
Woo Jin-Chul's hand hovered near his weapon. "That thing's not human."
The Chairman's eyes narrowed. "Neither of them are."
Inside, Jinwoo didn't scream. He didn't react.
He pulled another potion from his inventory and drank it fast.
The wound sealed slowly. He rotated his shoulder once. Still stiff.
Wolverine stepped through the pool of blood between them. His chest was a ruin. Entire patches of muscle gone.
Didn't stop him from smiling.
"Next one's deeper."
Deadpool limped up beside him, still bleeding from the sides.
"Okay, timeout — team strategy session? No? Cool."
He raised his katanas again.
"Note to self: never fight a guy with shadow monsters and a jawline that sharp."
Jinwoo said nothing. But he stepped forward again.
No hesitation.
Claws and daggers met in a flash of steel.
And the timer kept ticking.
