Chapter 16 - Episode 16 – The Rising Flames of Destiny

A Restless Morning

The night's vision lingers as morning arrives. Sang sits alone under a tree, lost in thought, the blurred face of a girl haunting his mind. His chest tightens—why does she feel so important?

Rakhad (concerned): "Hey, Sang! What's going on with you? You're acting weird lately."

Nearby, Zoick and Earian laugh, playfully mocking each other. Their carefree energy contrasts with the heaviness in Sang's heart. Eldrin approaches, his usual composed smile in place. Sang and Rakhad immediately stand in respect.

Eldrin: "Rakhad, go gather the others. It's time for training."

As Rakhad leaves, Eldrin turns to Sang, his voice softer now.

Eldrin: "Why are you like this, Sang?"

Sang (hesitant): "Master… I saw a girl in my dreams. Her face was blurred, but something about her… I can't forget. It feels… important."

Eldrin's expression darkens for a brief moment, a thought crossing his mind.

Eldrin (to himself): "So… you still remember her."

He quickly composes himself and places a firm hand on Sang's shoulder.

Eldrin: "Forget about that. Focus on your training. Your people need you."

Suddenly, Rakhad shouts from the distance.

Rakhad: "Oh, Sang! Quit daydreaming and get over here! Let's see if you've gotten any stronger."

Eldrin (smirking): "Well, seems like Rakhad is finally taking an interest in you. Go on."

Sang (nodding): "Yes, Master."

The Court's Shadows

The scene shifts to the Grand Court. Vilgrim, seated upon his throne, drums his fingers against the armrest, deep in thought. His gaze sharpens as he speaks, his voice commanding and resolute.

Vilgrim: "The suspicions arises on them right? we will erase them from existence. I will send a spy to confirm that , if it was done by them or not. If it is them, they will face the most brutal punishment in our tradition."

A tense silence falls over the room—until Middle Threxius rises from his seat. His aura flares, heavy and suffocating, silencing the whispers among the court members.

Middle Threxius (coldly): "No need, my King. Since it is my demons under suspicion, I will personally send my own spy."

Vilgrim eyes him for a moment before nodding in approval. The court is dismissed, but as the members leave, two controllers quietly discuss the matter.

Controller 1: "Who exactly are they referring to?"

Controller 2 (lowering his voice): "The Dominion of King."

Controller 1 (intrigued): "The Dominion of King? What does that mean?"

Controller 2: "I don't fully understand, but they are a group of demons, kings, and queens who follow a single being… a man they claim to be the King of the Universe, a trusted figure of God. The court fears their existence."

As the words sink in, the first controller pauses, a spark of curiosity igniting in his eyes.

A Clash of Strength

Back at the training grounds, the duel begins. Sang and Rakhad face each other, their eyes locked.

Rakhad (grinning): "Don't hold back, Sang."

Rakhad moves first—a swift strike of flame through his fist is about to punch the sang. Sang dodged it and planned a punch against him , but it was slow so that Rakhad could hold his fist.

Rakhad: "Too slow."

Sang smirks .

Sang vanishes in an instant, reappearing behind Rakhad with a kick. Rakhad barely blocks it in time but is still sent sliding several meters back.

Zoick (grinning): "See? I told you! He's different now."

Earian (eyes wide): "What kind of movement was that? I couldn't even see him move!"

Eldrin, watching from the sidelines, crosses his arms and calls out.

Eldrin: "Enough talking! You two—start training as well!"

Zoick and Earian engage in their own fierce duel, their speed nearly impossible to follow. Meanwhile, Sang and Rakhad continue their battle, their clashes growing more intense, their movements turning into blurs of energy and flame.

Rakhad (grinning): "Alright, Sang. Let's get serious."

Flames ignite around Rakhad's body as his power surges. Sang smirks in return, his aura responding instinctively. Suddenly—a deafening shockwave erupts.

Zoick and Earian, mid-fight, are momentarily thrown off balance as their own fists collide with a sheer force that splits the air. Sparks fly as both pairs continue their battles, neither willing to back down.

The Limit Breaker

Evening falls. Zoick and Earian finally collapse, their fight ending in exhausted laughter.

Zoick (panting): "You're tough."

Earian (grinning): "You too."

Meanwhile, high above the battlefield, Sang and Rakhad's clash has yet to reach its conclusion. Both warriors hover midair, eyes locked, breathing heavy. Rakhad's aura erupts—the overwhelming God Mode now fully unleashed.

Earian (stunned): "That form… his touch alone can turn anything to ash."

Sang doesn't back down. As Rakhad lunges forward, Sang meets him head-on. Their fists collide—BOOM!—a shockwave of energy blasts across the field.

When the dust settles, Rakhad slides back only a few meters, while Sang is pushed nearly ten meters away. The battlefield falls silent.

Zoick (in awe): "That… That power…"

Earian (whispering): "They're not human."

Eldrin finally steps forward, his voice firm.

Eldrin: "That's enough. Training is over for today."

Rakhad wipes the sweat from his forehead and smirks.

Rakhad: "You've improved a lot. What changed in you since yesterday?"

Sang (wiping sweat from his lips, smiling): "I don't know."

Rakhad chuckles, patting Sang on the shoulder.

Rakhad: "Let's go."

Sang (laughing): "Coming."

The Wasteland's Dark Omen

Deep within the Wasteland, inside a dark, foreboding cave, the Monster Majesty sits upon his throne, his presence suffocating. Buruso, one of his trusted subordinates, kneels before him.

Monster Majesty (coldly): "No need to waste time or soldiers. I will go myself."

Buruso (alarmed): "No, my Majesty! It's too dangerous! If you're exposed—"

Monster Majesty: "You don't understand. There is no way they are still alive… unless it is him."

Buruso stiffens, unable to argue further.

Monster Majesty (darkly): "And if it is him… only I can face him."

His words send a chill through the air. The cave falls silent. And with that—
