Chapter 71 - Takeoff

Julian figured maybe it was because of its position. The hangar was located far from where the war had taken place, at the very back of the governor's building—almost like an afterthought. A narrow path curved behind the structure, hidden by thick walls and a few dead trees. No outsider would know what was back here unless they had schematics. And from what Julian had seen so far, the invaders hadn't gotten that deep.

Hellfott probably didn't even know it existed.

That alone made the place feel more sacred. Untouched. A remnant of beauty in a war-wrecked world. And was the place beautiful? It felt like one could live there. It looked splendid to the eyes.

"So you say it's manual and automatic at the same time?" Julian asked the slender-looking young Drayyorsain.

"Yes sir," he affirmed. "When you had requested for a manual yet automatic spaceship, to be honest, I had been quite baffled. Mainly with thinking, that is, as I wondered if we had the spaceship of your desire."
