Chapter 98 - [97] Bumblebee

"Ding! Congratulations, you've obtained a crate of milk tea." the system's voice announced in Tengen's ear.

"Milk tea?" Tengen glanced at the system's display. He didn't summon the item immediately, keeping it stored to avoid causing a commotion in the town.

A large object appearing suddenly could spark panic, potentially drawing attention from Iwagakure, as this was the Land of Earth's territory.

"Milk tea… circling the Earth twenty times?" Tengen chuckled, recalling the kitschy slogan. Those catchy, overplayed ads from his previous world had a brainwashing effect.

"Forget it." he shook his head, storing the crate in the system's space. He wasn't sure how long it would take to finish it, especially since "crate" likely meant a shipping container, like the Red Bull he'd received before.

"Ordinary videos really can't be relied on." Tengen muttered, turning to the standard video. Its higher clarity offered better odds for valuable rewards, especially from Transformers, a world with supernatural elements.

"I wonder if I can get the AllSpark." Tengen mused, a glint of anticipation in his eyes. With it, he could create a formidable army in the ninja world.

Still, he knew the chances of drawing something as extraordinary as the AllSpark from a standard video were slim.

"Let's extract it." Tengen decided, activating the Transformers video.

"Ding! Congratulations, you've obtained Transformer Bumblebee." the system announced.

"Bumblebee." Tengen said, eyeing the yellow-and-black Chevrolet Camaro in the video. Upon extraction, he instantly understood everything about the item.

Whether good or bad, anything he drew obeyed him.

This Bumblebee was the Transformer, capable of high speed and formidable combat as a robot. While it might struggle against Jonin, it could easily handle Genin and Chunin.

One detail surprised Tengen, reinforcing his view of the ninja world's skewed tech tree.

It blended ancient and modern elements, televisions and radios existed, yet mobile phones and cars, commonplace in his previous world, were absent. For a fictional setting, the Naruto world was peculiar.

Many anime worlds shared similar quirks. In Dragon Ball, the broader world's technology was modern, but Capsule Corporation's advancements were light-years ahead.

"Still, this is pretty good." Tengen said with a smile.

While Bumblebee could serve as transport, Tengen wouldn't use it often. His Flying Technique allowed swift aerial travel, and with the Flying Thunder God Technique, he could teleport within range of a pre-placed seal.

"Let's summon it outside." Tengen said, vanishing from the room. He reappeared in a forest near the town.

Releasing a Transformer in the inn would likely demolish it, given Bumblebee's several-meter height.

In a forest clearing, Tengen stopped.

"System, summon Bumblebee." he commanded.

A flash of light, and a yellow-and-black car appeared on the open ground.

Seeing it, Tengen felt a pang of nostalgia for his previous world.

"Click, clank…" Mechanical sounds emanated as the Chevrolet transformed, rising into a several-meter-tall robot.

This was Transformer Bumblebee.

"Hello, Master. I'm honored to serve you." Bumblebee said promptly.

"Bumblebee, do you know Optimus Prime?" Tengen asked.

"Of course! Optimus Prime is a legendary Cybertronian." Bumblebee replied. "I'm thrilled to be summoned to this world by you, Master."

Tengen marveled at the system's precision, likely altering Bumblebee's memories to fit this context.

"Alright, return to my space for now. I'll summon you when needed." Tengen said.

"Got it, Master, but it's a bit stuffy in there. Let me out sometimes, yeah?" Bumblebee said, his tone slightly playful.

"Don't worry." Tengen laughed, waving his hand to store Bumblebee in the system's space.

"Time to head back." Tengen said, vanishing and reappearing in his room in the town.

"Flying Thunder God is so convenient." he said, stretching. Time for some rest.

The next day, Kakuzu bid Tengen farewell, heading to their chosen base in the Land of Rivers.

Tengen had ignited Kakuzu's passion for profit. Whether this venture would succeed was uncertain, but it cost Tengen nothing to try. He was curious about the outcome.

A Kakuzu focused on earning money was likely a boon for the ninja world's shinobi.

"I should head back too." Tengen said, watching the town bustle back to life. It was time to regroup with Orochimaru's team.

Then he paused, noticing a pattern on a nearby wall.

"Shizune's mark, and it's from yesterday." Tengen said, a smile spreading across his face.

"Looks like we're fated to meet, Shizune, Tsunade-sensei." he murmured, vanishing.

He headed toward a part of the town.

Tsunade had a well-known vice: gambling. Dubbed the "Legendary Sucker" by the outside world, she lost nine out of ten bets.
