Chapter 35 - AAMH: Chapter 35

"Bang, bang, bang, bang…"

Tony hammered the red-hot steel on the iron anvil, following the blueprints.

The flickering flames in the dark cave illuminated Tony, revealing his resolute face and determined eyes…

While Tony was busy making the Mark 1 to prepare for his escape from this predicament, Yuma was walking through the Afghan desert with Banner and Rush.

They were lost!

Although Yuma had gotten the coordinates of Tony's disappearance from Pepper, he didn't know where Tony was kidnapped!

Not to mention that the coordinates of Raza's base didn't appear in the "Iron Man" movie. Even if they did, who would bother to pay attention to such things?

Everyone's busy watching the plot, the special effects, and sending bullet comments.

Who would specifically memorize the coordinates of locations in the movie?

Yuma could only walk around the desert with Banner and Rush, searching and praying that Tony would quickly crush the Reishi tool he gave him. Otherwise, Tony might not be able to wait for his rescue.

"Rush, get out the map. I'll study it again." Yuma said to Rush after walking for a while.

This wasn't going to work. Although Afghanistan wasn't a big country, its land area was 640,000 square kilometers.

It would be easy to hide a group of terrorists there. Now, the three of them were like searching for a needle in a haystack.

At this rate, by the time we get there, we'll probably only be able to collect Tony's body. If he still has a whole body.

We can't keep wandering around like headless chickens. It seems like we can only rely on the most primitive method. Yuma looked at the Afghan map spread out in front of him and sighed helplessly.

Seeing Yuma pondering over the map, Banner and Rush looked expectant. They were really tired of the weather in the Middle Eastern desert. The alternation between night and day gave them a feeling of being in heaven one moment and hell the next.

"Ding, ding, dong, far cannon pistol, pistol bullet, defeat the bad guys!" Yuma muttered as he tapped the coordinates on the Afghan map with his index finger.

Banner and Rush looked at each other and shook their heads. They had no idea what Yuma was talking about.

Maybe it's some kind of mysterious Chinese spell? The two thought to themselves.

After all, China is a mysterious country. There have been many magical things that have happened.

Seeing that Yuma had finished chanting the last word, his index finger pressed firmly on a coordinate on the map. "This is it. Let's go!"

After opening the Garganta, Yuma didn't hesitate. He walked in first.

Banner and Rush followed behind, looking relieved. Finally, we don't have to wander around this hellhole anymore.

"This is incredible," Ethan exclaimed, looking at the iron armor the two of them had built in three days. Then he turned to Tony and asked, "How do you use this thing?"

"The thing on my chest provides 3 billion joules of energy per second. This big guy can be used for fifteen minutes," Tony said softly, looking at the steel armor in front of him. "We're going to escape with this fifteen minutes. Remember to stay close to me!"

"They're coming. Put it on quickly." At this moment, Ethan heard a lot of chaotic footsteps outside the door and urged Tony. "They won't believe our excuses this time. If they see this, they'll definitely kill us."

With Ethan's help, Tony struggled to put on the heavy armor. The terrorists outside had already started to break down the door.

"Go and enter the power supply command." Tony said to Ethan. "After you've done that, come help me fix the screws."

"Okay," Ethan replied. Under Tony's guidance, he successfully entered the power supply command. After tightening all the screws on the armor, Ethan quickly asked, "What do we do next?"

"We just need to wait. Wait for the power system to complete." Tony replied.

"There's no time, Tony," Ethan listened to the sound of the door being broken outside. He looked at the power progress, which was less than half, and said to Tony. "You need more time."

Ethan picked up the submachine gun on the table and smiled. "I'll go delay them and buy you some time."

"Don't go, Ethan!" Tony shouted at his back. "Follow the plan. Don't go!"

Seeing Ethan charge out, firing his gun and completely ignoring his shouts, Tony clenched his fist and then crushed the Reishi tool he had been holding in his hand.

"Found it!"

The moment Tony crushed the tool, Yuma sensed the location of his spiritual pressure. He said excitedly to the two people behind him.

Banner and Rush didn't react at all. They had long given up hope. Every time Yuma finished chanting, he would say this.

But it had been almost three days, and the three of them were still in the desert. They hadn't even seen a shadow, let alone found Tony.

"Tony crushed my tool. This time, it's definitely no problem." Seeing that the two of them didn't believe him, Yuma quickly explained, then reopened the Garganta.

Seeing this, Banner and Rush could only follow helplessly. Otherwise, if Yuma left and the Garganta closed, the two of them would be even more screwed!

When Yuma passed through the Garganta, he found himself in a dark cave. There were sparks and the smell of gunpowder in the air.

He looked around and quickly found Tony.

Tony, wearing the Mark 1, was standing in the distance, holding a bespectacled man in his arms. It should be Ethan.

"Tony, are you alright?" Yuma breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that Tony was fine. He walked over and asked.

He was really worried that if he didn't arrive in time, Tony would be killed by Abomination. If that happened, there would be no Iron Man in this world anymore.

As for Ethan, Yuma had mixed feelings about him.

His death created Iron Man. It can be said that without Ethan, there would be no Iron Man. So, Yuma didn't know whether to be happy or sad about his death.

"If only my armor could have been put on faster, or if it had been more powerful," Tony looked at Ethan in his arms with a complex expression. "Or if I had crushed your tool earlier, Ethan wouldn't have died."

"My friend died for me," Tony looked at Yuma, his eyes filled with guilt and deep self-blame. "It's all my fault. It's all because I'm not strong enough!"

"Then try to become stronger," Yuma looked at Tony seriously. "Strong enough that no one will die because of you again. Strong enough to protect everything you think is important!"

"That's right. I have more important people to protect," Tony slowly came back to his senses, his eyes gradually becoming firm. "Now, what I need to do is avenge Ethan!"

With that, Tony stood up, drove the Mark 1, and walked towards the exit of the cave.

Every step was filled with power!
