After a while there was sound of bikes. They were riven and Ronan who came to visit Their brother in law's.
The soft glow of moonlight spilled across the rooftop of Antonio and Selene's mansion, casting delicate shadows over the garden lights and low seating. The night was gentle, quiet—except for the occasional laughter from inside the house where Mira and Ronan were helping Devina prepare midnight drinks.
Amara had slipped away with a restless heart. The rooftop had always brought her peace, and tonight, she needed it. She sat on the edge of the long couch, hugging her knees to her chest, her gaze lost in the sky.
A soft creak behind her made her turn. Riven. He was still dressed in the navy-blue shirt she liked on him—the one that matched the dusk in his eyes.
"Couldn't sleep?" he asked, stepping toward her.
She shook her head. "Just... thinking."
"About us?" he asked gently, his voice low and sure.
She hesitated, but she couldn't lie. "Yes."
He came to stand in front of her, his eyes searching hers. "Amara... I've been dancing around this too long. Watching you smile and laugh with others while I keep holding back... it's not fair to either of us."
She slowly stood up, facing him.
"I know what I want now. You. Every day, through the mess and the music. You're not just someone I care for, you're someone I... I see forever with."
Her breath caught.
"I want to be with you, Amara. No more half-steps. No more silence."
Before she could respond, a sharp whisper rose from behind one of the pillars.
"Did he just—? He did! Antonio, he actually said it!"
"Selene, keep your voice down," Antonio hissed, but they both popped out from behind the plant like two children watching a drama unfold.
Riven blinked, then chuckled. "Really? You two were spying?"
Selene held up her hands. "In our defense, your tension could be cut with a spoon. We had to make sure you finally said something."
Amara looked stunned, then let out a laugh—one that turned into a soft, teary smile. "This family is unbelievable."
Antonio walked over and playfully ruffled her hair. "We just don't like seeing you sulk when we know the guy who makes your eyes sparkle is right here."
"And I do sparkle," Riven added, mock-serious, earning a soft punch from Antonio and a giggle from Selene.
As if on cue, the rooftop door opened again.
"Oh wow," Mira said, stepping out with two mugs in hand, followed by Ronan. "I leave for ten minutes and Riven finally proposes emotional honesty?"
Ronan laughed, walking to Mira's side. "We're not even the dramatic couple anymore."
Riven turned to Amara again, holding her hand. "So?"
Amara smiled wider, tugging him by his shirt and whispering, "Yes. A million times yes."
Antonio placed a hand over his heart. "Another Reyes down."
Selene smirked. "You make it sound like a game."
Ronan added with a wink, "Well, if it is, you're all losing to me and Mira."
Mira rolled her eyes but beamed at her sister. "I'm so happy for you, Amara."
The night carried on with coffee, laughter, teasing, and the warmth of love blooming quietly beneath the stars. Antonio wrapped his arm around Selene, whispering near her ear, "Two sisters, two perfect matches. Our roof has become a sacred place of confessions."
She leaned into him. "Then let's never stop making memories here."
