Chapter 165 - Chapter 165

The villagers fled in terror, but White Fang didn't attack civilians.

Not out of kindness — Senju Yukika had said he could choose: kill, or spare.

The common folk weren't to blame for the war.

Step by step, he advanced toward the Tsuchikage's tower.

On the way, another group of ninjas tried to stop him.

This time, they launched long-range ninjutsu attacks without warning.

But White Fang only shook his head.

Compared to true war generals, these ordinary ninjas were far too weak.

Their techniques, though deadly, were useless against his speed.

In a few blinks, he tore through them.

Blood sprayed once more, and White Fang's back was the last thing they saw.

Iwagakure was not small.

Word quickly reached Ohnoki at the Tsuchikage Tower, and he hurried over with his ANBU.

When he arrived, he saw White Fang standing among a pile of corpses.

Ohnoki's fury exploded.

"Kakashi Hatake!" he roared.

His Kage-level aura surged violently — but White Fang simply flicked his ear in a mocking gesture.

"Angry, are you?"

White Fang sighed slightly. "But, Lord Tsuchikage, you seem to have forgotten something: if you hadn't broken your agreement first, your people wouldn't have died."

He pointed at the corpses at his feet.

It was the truth.

If Ohnoki had sent the promised resources to the Senju, none of this would've happened.

Such a pity.

"You Senju... can't you just grow old quietly?" Ohnoki sneered.

He was too furious to continue arguing. Opening his palm, a dazzling white light gathered: Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique!

A brilliant cone of energy blasted out!

This was a new variant Ohnoki had developed after his last fight against White Fang — designed specifically to counter fast opponents.

Dust Release was extremely powerful — able to instantly disintegrate matter, surpassing even Kekkei Genkai limits.

The beam shot forward.

When the villagers saw it, they cheered — because they finally saw White Fang bleeding!

A chunk of his arm had been blown away.

"Just by touching it, it disintegrates," White Fang muttered, examining the damage.

"My steel skin couldn't withstand it... If it were Lord Yukika's defense, maybe it could ignore even this."

Despite the loss of his arm, he remained perfectly calm.

"Hmph! A swordsman without an arm is half as dangerous!" Ohnoki growled. "You came alone to Iwagakure to die — now I'll kill you!"

He prepared another Dust Release attack — this time faster, deadlier.

But to his shock, White Fang easily dodged it.

And then…

A hand clamped around Ohnoki's throat.

He twisted his head stiffly, horrified.

White Fang had actually kept up with Dust Release's speed!

Even more terrifying — the arm that had been blasted off had regrown, muscle by muscle, as if nothing had happened.

"This…" Ohnoki gasped.

"You don't understand, do you?" White Fang said quietly.

"This... is the power that only an Espada of Las Noches can wield."

"I just wanted to test how much time and energy it took to regenerate an arm."

Then — slash!

Ohnoki screamed as his arm was severed cleanly!

"And what about you?" White Fang smirked.

"Do you have this kind of power?"

He gently flew into the air, carrying the wounded Ohnoki.

"Remember — it was you who broke the agreement first."

"Those who break promises... must pay the price."

A red light began gathering at the tip of White Fang's blade.

Ohnoki, closer than anyone else, felt a soul-crushing fear.

This energy — It was the same as Senju Yukika's!

Although a different color, the essence was unmistakable.

"You see it too, don't you?" White Fang whispered.

"This power — created by Master Yukika."

The Power of Kings.

Zero.

Meanwhile.

Over Sunagakure, Orochimaru wasn't nearly as elegant.

He didn't bother talking at all — a brutal Cero blast slammed into the ground.

The twin disasters began.

Two Great Ninja Villages were plunged into chaos.

Finally — the true first strike of the Espada.

Before, White Fang had been called an Espada — but he hadn't shown the true might of the title.

Now he had.

He had been marked personally by Yukika.

A real Espada.

Even if only temporarily — it was still the highest honor!

"So," Yukika said softly, "you can show understanding to others — but never force them to understand you."

"Because you are not them — you cannot truly comprehend their hearts."

"This... is principle."

At the entrance of a cave in the Land of Rain,

Senju Yukika handed Yahiko a piece of grilled chicken, then personally tore off a juicy thigh and fed it to Konan.

By the fire, there were only three others:

Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan.

Jiraiya stood nearby, drinking, a little overwhelmed by the scene.

It felt... like fate.

Yahiko, cheeks stuffed with chicken, began thinking deeply. Yukika's words were profound — and Yahiko didn't fully understand yet.

"Can I get down now?" Konan asked, her face flushed.

She was lying in Yukika's arms, unlike Yahiko and Nagato who sat on the ground.

"Not yet," Yukika chuckled, feeding her another bite.

"You're growing — you need good nutrition."

Watching from the side, Jiraiya rolled his eyes.

He didn't understand why Yukika took such interest in his three students.

But Yukika gave no explanation.

It wasn't random kindness.

He knew Madara was surely watching Nagato's circle carefully.

And Yukika's arrival would definitely be reported back to Madara.

It was a signal:

He knew.

Just like he knew the Rinnegan in Nagato's eyes belonged to Madara.

By sending this message, Yukika forced Madara to rethink his plans.

Still...

Truthfully, Yukika wanted to talk to Madara about the world — about true peace.

But not yet.

Not until Madara fully realized that the Infinite Tsukuyomi was a trap.

Only then would he listen.

Without doubt — Madara was that kind of man.

"Your eyes are beautiful," Yukika suddenly said, looking at Nagato.

"...Thank you," Nagato whispered shyly.

A lonely child, closed off from the world.

"If anything troubles you," Yukika said, ruffling his hair, "you can always come find the Senju."

"We're family, after all."

Nagato looked up into his eyes.

Family.

The word carved itself deep into his heart.
