Stella's POV
I was lying on the other side of the river, which is far away from the pack after Lucas left.
I still can't get the thought of my mate being an alpha and from that pack out of my thoughts. I have a very high urge to see him, and I wish I could see him without letting him know it's me, but I don't think there's a way.
I stretched on the ground and yawned. I am tired and sleepy. I haven't been getting enough sleep for the whole week because I am worried that the pack will attack us anytime. It's funny that I am more worried about a pack attacking a bunch of rogues than the attack from other rogues.
I curled up on the ground and closed my eyes to take a nap, but I got a scent of someone, someone I have been avoiding the whole week. Oh shit! My mate is about to come here! I gotta run!
I got up and ran. I ran as fast as I could.
I could hear the branches and leaves crunching under the feet, mine and his. I could smell its scent getting closer and closer, which meant he must be in his wolf form. I should shift in wolf form, too, so that I can run away from him faster.
"Haku! Don't you dare betray me and run away! Run towards Lucas and not our mate, understood?" I could hear Haku roll her eyes.
"Fine. I understood. I will run AWAY"
