Floor ??? - Labyrinth Of The Deathly Embrace
Adonis, now fully healed from his injuries, steadied himself as he faced the towering humanoid bat. its crimson eyes locked onto him with predatory focus. Adonis clenched his fists, knowing that victory would demand every ounce of his strength. With the girl no longer present, his mind was clear—no distractions, only survival.
The bat lunged forward with terrifying speed, its massive fist swinging toward Adonis with enough force to split stone. Adonis barely twisted aside, the punch cratering the ground beneath them. The impact sent shockwaves through the labyrinth, dust and debris exploding into the air. Seizing the opening, Adonis propelled himself upward, driving the hilt of his sheathed sword into the bat's face with a brutal crack.
The creature roared, retaliating with a backhand that sent Adonis hurtling toward the pulsating, fleshy wall of the labyrinth. Mid-flight, he dematerialized his sword and conjured flames from his feet, the fire roaring like a rocket's thrust. He spun in the air, landing boots-first against the organic surface before kicking off, flames erupting beneath him as he shot back toward the bat. His fist connected with the beast's jaw, staggering it—but the victory was short-lived. The bat's whip-like tail lashed out, slamming Adonis into the ground hard enough to shatter his ribs. Blood sprayed from his lips as the bat followed up with a devastating kick, sending him skidding across the shattered floor.
Gritting his teeth, Adonis forced himself to stand. His body trembled, bruises darkening his skin, but already his unnatural healing knit bone and flesh back together. Across from him, the bat snarled, saliva dripping from its fangs. For a heartbeat, the two locked eyes—then they charged.
Their fists collided, but the bat's strength was overwhelming. Adonis's arm exploded in a grotesque spray of bone and blood, his scream echoing through the labyrinth. The bat seized his head, its clawed fingers engulfing his face, and slammed him into the earth. Before Adonis could recover, the creature took to the air, then plummeted down like a meteor, its impact carving a massive crater into the ground. Smoke billowed, obscuring vision—but when it cleared, the bat found only emptiness beneath its feet.
A shadow fell from above. Adonis descended like a vengeful storm, sheathed sword in hand. The bat looked up too late—the weapon crashed onto its skull with a sickening crack. Adonis didn't stop. Blood streaked his vision, pain and fury fueling him as he teleported around the dazed creature, striking again and again, each blow landing with relentless precision. The bat's skull fractured, its roars fading into guttural whimpers, until finally, it collapsed, motionless.
Breathing heavily, Adonis dropped to one knee, his body screaming in protest. He sheathed his sword, storing it away, then rose unsteadily. Without a backward glance at the fallen beast, he turned and walked into the labyrinth's shadows, his path ahead as uncertain as the floors beneath his feet.

Floor ??? - Labyrinth of the Deathly Embrace
Adonis came to an abrupt halt, his instincts screaming at him. A chilling realization dawned
If the bat is dead, why hasn't he received a notification?
Before he could react further, a surge of danger prickled his skin. He whirled around—too late. A searing pain erupted across his chest as claws sliced through flesh. Gritting his teeth, Adonis dropped to one knee, his gaze locking onto the bat.
But it was no longer the same creature.
The bat's black armored form had twisted into something monstrous. Spikes jutted from every inch of its body, its claws now razor-sharp. Its tail, now with spikes. The transformation was complete—a nightmare given flesh.
The battle was far from over.
