Handling the mantle of god creator had always been more of a burden than a blessing for the star king dragon.
Perhaps it is a thought shared by all gods who happen to have created life, their willingness to decrease their power just to get a bit closer to their creation.
Even to the extreme point of dying by the hand of his own creation, he had at least left marks of himself to shape the future.
As a former all knowing being, he must have foreseen all those outcomes yet decided to entrust that future into unbloomed seed.
A world made for mortals should be shaped by mortals...being a wish from the collective or the greed of an individual, there was no outcome Veldanava denied.
Like a shine of hope amidst the darkness, the star king dragon awaited to see the conclusion of a story...what a human whose potential is limited but their limit only gap at one's will.
Departed from the mainland, Dawn reluctantly left his daughter behind to rest.
He voided the gap between himself and Eldorado in an instant, the sound of blooming explosion and clashing sword heard from the large island.
But before he could the Paradise of the Platinum Saber, he felt a tinge of weak aura bloating above the water of this vast ocean.
The presence familiar enough for him to deviate his trajectory, halting on his pace he flew down landing on the surface of the ocean like solid ground.
Dawn : Hope you got a good bath...Chloe.
Chloe : Ugh...
The state she was in couldn't be called great, barely floating above water by holding a piece of wood she happened to grab.
She was in her kid form, forced back to this appearance because of Ivarage's blow...the injuries Chloe received were critical.
She would have surely succumbed and surely died definitely, without a chance at time traveling if she didn't find a new way to use her skill.
By continuously rewinding time on herself, she replaced her dead part with her past and future safe self.
Chloe : But that came with this price...I'm stuck in this child form for now...
Dawn : Don't worry, you still look cute.
Speaking with a mocking tone, he grabbed the back of her shirt and lifted her over the water.
Calmly sending a breath of ice magic, he dried her using a surgical accurate use of frost to freeze her wet hair and attire.
Chloe : I need your help though...I fear the usage of my skill just now will trigger a paradox and breach in the law of causality...
To heal herself, she mainly created countless alternate futures and past...this largely goes against the rule over time set by the world.
It was risky and only a last line option she could use...
Dawn : I see, well I'll get to it on the way there.
Chloe : Where are you going ?
Dawn : Eldorado.
Carefully settling her over his shoulder, he conjured a barrier around Chloe and departed again.
Chloe : Why there ? Shouldn't you be focusing on that thing above ?
Dawn : I have already set my priority, Ivarage is just not one of them.
Chloe : There is really only you who can say that...
Flashing a small smile, Dawn scoffed...his aura spreading around Chloe, her blue eyes resonated with Dawn's power.
Sharing his vision as fate overlapped time, a slight paradox naturally formed...the decay that created the alternative timeline closed one by one.
Dawn : [Fate Paradox].
Chloe : So this is the world you see, it's astonishing...
The change made was that instead of Chloe using her skill to heal herself, she was never injured to begin with.
At the same time, that command couldn't truly happen because Ivarage's effect negate the possibility of altering fate.
But that isn't a problem because Chloe had already healed herself...Dawn didn't erase her action, rather than that he just changed the way it happened.
The formula in head is the next one : (Injury) → (Time Manipulation) → (Recovery), which then turns into (Injury) → (Fate Paradox) → (Recovery).
The proceeds and result are beyond naturally incompatible due to the nature of the injury...a paradox was forced, leading to Chloe being healed without the surplus of alternate timeline.
Chloe : Wait doesn't that mean...
Dawn : Yes, by combining time and fate...we can actually hold Ivarage at a primal degree...(Though I could have achieved it by using [God's Authority], this small experiment allowed me to gasp the limit of the current Ivarage.)
Chloe : Fate and Time...
Dawn : That would only work for the present instant, and with several conditions...don't rely on this paradox.
A uncertainty that could cost a result similarly high as its risk, the conditions mentioned could be bypassed due to Dawn's nature that shifted to godhood via the Authority.
But if it were him without that formidable instinctive computational power, he would have triggered something that will destroy both him and Chloe.
Dawn : Anyway, I will need you to take care of Leon once we get to Eldorado.
Chloe : Ugh..well i own you that much...
She wanted to avoid dealing with that Lolicon since Chloe knew to which length Leon had been searching for her.
Not because she hated him or anything, just the time of reunion wasn't something special for her personally, and Leon would be quite emotive and hard to calm at the predestined time.
Eldorado coming into view, Dawn cleared the sky above the island engulfing it in a veil of magicule...successfully sealing separating the world inside and out.
A simple measure forbidding the prey to escape the cage...
Dawn : The rules are simple, try getting out only to reappear somewhere inside.
Chloe : What's the point if you can just vaporize the enemy...
She genuinely believed him capable of defeating anyone that wasn't Ivarage, after all the execution of the three beasts was showcased for the world to see.
Dawn : Nah, the one I'm aiming for is way too cunning to just die in the rush of the moment.
Chloe : Huh ? Weren't you tracking Manas : Michael ?
Dawn : I am but that abandoned manas is all but too easy to get rid of.
Finally landing in the middle of the golden city, Eldorado was in ruins...the crisping sound of burning fire rotting away the building all around the city.
There were very few inhabitants left alive, even if Eldorado was the city who received the least wave of angels...they were at their worst condition.
Leon Cromwell had lost all his most powerful knight to Ivarage's first appearance on Milim's domain...
When he got back to his land, he was injured and had to face off the endless wave of the Tenma war alone, the civilians not capable of defending properly.
And as the last nail upon the coffin, Manas : Michael arrived and suddenly engaged in a fight...then Dino arrived, Eldorado just couldn't keep up and was destroyed, devoured slowly by the flame of war.
Chloe : Ne Dawn...don't you feel guilty sometimes ?
Walking down a long paved road, the eerie lack of life was suffocating...an explosion occurred in the distance several blocks away.
That same explosion followed the next instant in another location, it was a simple task to locate the manas and angel...though it seemed that Leon Cromwell wasn't actively fighting.
Dawn : About what ?
Chloe : With your power or even mine, we could have saved all the people that died here...yet you planned this, right.
A low whisper carrying a sense of melancholy, Chloe was walking ahead...her small figure turning around, her face reflecting the crimson flames burning the city of gold.
Dawn : ...
Chloe : I saw it when you shared your vision with me...you left Manas : Michael alive so he could flee to Eldorado, all that so you could turn the tide and make this land a battlefield faraway from the mass.
Sacrificing the people of Eldorado to protect the people from the main continent...Dawn wasn't fearing Manas : Michael but rather the opponent that would emerge from the core he was holding.
Chloe : I'm not blaming you, in fact you were also aware that the contact of your fate against my time would trigger my sense, you actually wanted this...to share the burden of knowledge with me.
A time traveler and destiny manipulator...Dawn and Chloe had the responsibility of life and death of so many people.
Using their skills, they saved a lot of people but equally...a lot died due to their choice.
Was it inevitable ? If they had chosen another path, would that save even more ? Wouldn't this power make them extremely selfish in itself ?
Being the only one knowning that your own choice can decide the fate of countless individuals is a endless cycle of pain and torture...
Dawn : Yes...
Chloe : I see...I'm glad I met you Dawn Arceid.
He didn't do it for himself, he had shared this burden of knowledge...to show Chloe that she wasn't alone.
He too had killed many for the sake of his own greed...even if it meant greater good in the end, there is truly no definite right or wrong.
Only your choice to shape the world in the direction you desire...
Dawn : If guilt was a factor that you should measure every time, then evolution would be nothing but a stretch of hypocrisy...there is no future that you can mold without tainting your hands.
Catching up to her, Dawn ruffled her head lightly before continuing his march...the time hero remained standing, her eyes trailed to follow that student of hers...
Certainly he grew out of proportion, in her eyes...she had to label him as a « true » hero...in the most suggestive terms.
Chloe : Look at me getting comforted by the brat that I trained.
The memories of their first meeting flowing her mind, when he convinced her that he knew the future events...how he used her measurements as proof-
Chloe : Cheeky brat...
Her eyes kept on gazing until Dawn's figure slowly retreated in the golden city.
This is where they parted ways...now Chloe had to go find Leon and get him out of here, he was still a reliable ally and someone precious to her.
Chloe : Unfortunately, I can't share the burden you had set on yourself...
Having seen the world of his, she also caught a glimpse of his plan...there were a lot of questions she wanted to ask yet none responded to the call of her tongue.
Chloe : This might be my biggest regret in the end, still I sincerely hope we will share another meal together at the end of this story.
The path he had chosen in the end was filled with burden and self claim...to the point that Chloe didn't muster the courage to ask him.
The determination and resolution Dawn had shown in that simple flash of vision shook Chloe enough to not question him...
She could only turn her back and hope for a miracle...one in the form of destined fate.
Chloe Pov
My steps grew heavier each time I advanced to where Leon was...he wasn't concealing himself, so finding him was the least of my worries.
Before me was the large volcano that should supposedly loom over Eldorado...that mountain should be there yet only a deformed pile of stone and dirt remained.
The consequence of a duel between catastrophic beings can only lead to such destruction...
Chloe : (Will you be okay after this...Leon?)
I asked myself pitifully, reaching the plain field near the base of the mountain...it was a previously beautiful place I had been in one of my former loops.
A exotic look over the perfect city Leon has tried to develop...all for my sake, and now only destruction and chaos was displayed.
Nature itself withered as I walked...in the end of this narrow alley, I halted my step and stood at a fair distance from the man I was searching for.
Chloe : Leon Cromwell.
Sitting there, on the edge of a paved platform...he looked down at the work of his life, all life is meant to end and in the end misery will prevail.
This is a tragic fate people like us deemed immortal have to go through...no, the exact population would be those rendered Immortal, stripped from their right to natural death.
Leon was no different, he might have colored himself with a cold expression...using the excuse of finding me to commit atrocity but I know more than anyone that he is fundamentally someone with a righteous heart.
A true hero that had awakened in the past for his own deed, even him can break down after witnessing everything he owned burn for the sake of others.
Leon ; ...
No answer, he was not the man I used to know...his eyes were dark devoid of the shade of sanity, his hair was dirty stripped of its golden halo and lastly his dress was torn apart barely hiding the injuries he failed to heal.
My voice did reach him but he failed to recognize it...
Chloe : (Just like a man who has lost everything...)
I stared at him a bit longer before acting, walking up to him...his back facing me, i was barely taller than his sitting figure due to me having shrunk to a child state.
My clothes had followed due to their fabrics having bathed in the affinity of time.
Stretching my arm, I gently wrapped my hand around his neck...in the end, Leon is still a brother to me...one that I cannot abandon no matter what.
Leon ; !!!
Chloe : You never ignored me that much before...you searched for me for so long yet when i'm finally before you, you sit there broken...
My voice warmed his heart, I tightened the hug...his hand slowly reached up to my elbow as if he tried to confirm that this wasn't a dream.
Chloe : Get up Leon-nii, the time of your salvation has yet to come.
Leon : C-Chloe ? Is that really you...
I smiled weakly at his broken tone, albeit the tint of life coming back and contrasting to his outside appearance...
I instantly knew that he would stand up again...us true heroes are quite stubborn on that point, hehe.
Chloe : Let's go Leon-nii, the war has yet to end.
In the near future, we will have the need of all available hands...i can't guarantee who will survive or die anymore.
All I can do is follow the flow set in motion by those destined to conceive the future.
Hah-I guess we all got it wrong in the end...none of those titles given to Dawn Arceid were accurate, the sole true name he should harbor would be « Architect of Fate ».
The hand of greed molding the future to fit his wishes...but considering what I saw from him, calling him greedy would be an insult to the term justice.
Chloe : Let's get out of here now.
Pulling Leon-nii out of his trance, yet another explosion graced this land...
3rd Pov
A pit of hell brought to the overworld...the situation at the center of Eldorado was such fit to that description.
Dino with his transcendental swordsmanship and Manas : Michael with the power of several ultimate skills.
Destruction in such a setting is only natural as the flowing wind and the still water...an evenly matched fight that only edged toward one side when Dino lost focus of his stamina.
As a born spiritual being, the notion of fatigue is normally nonexistent...but that is only for physicality, Dino was running out of magicule and his mind was drowning after chaining up fights each harder than the previous one.
Between Suiemu and Michael, Dino would deem the fish as the greater threat but the current fight was by far the most taxing on his endurance.
Because Dino reached his limits and could only hold off as he was asked to.
And after a dragged confrontation taking place all over Eldorado...Dino finally let go of his swords when a flash of light crashed right between him and his opponent.
Dino : You took your sweet time...
The tension easing for one side whereas the other cringed at most unwelcome guests.
Dawn : You should thank me for giving you some exercise, being on standby for thousands of years must have rusted you.
Dino : You...ahh nevermind, let me rest a bit for now.
Falling back, Dino was having a headache...even with his newfound memories, he still failed to properly get used to Dawn being so friendly...
Dawn : Yeah, let me take care of the rest.
Finally turning to the main reason for his presence here, Dawn faced Manas : Michael with a disinterested gleam.
Dawn : This is our first real meeting, for a major villain you look rather pathetic.
Manas Michael : You bastard...everything turned wrong because of you !
Dawn : Is that so, well that's too bad for you.
Tightening his jaw, Michael held out [Deva]...another one of the genesis graded weapons created by Veldanava.
The luxurious blade handled by the hero of the beginning emanated a dangerous glow meeting up with Michael's intent.
Manas Michael : And that power ! You dare usurp the power of god !
Dawn : Usurp, well you aren't wrong...but aren't you doing the same ? Pretending to be a god that can just decide the fate of all life for your own personal gain ?
Even without his blade, Dawn showed a fearless side...taking a step forward, he approached the Manas defenseless.
Dawn : the big difference between us is that you can only play the rôle of a wanable villain whose idea will drown in history-
Halting an inch away from the Manas, Dawn held his chin right above the tip of [Deva]...
Dawn : Compared to you, I won't become a failure and be forgotten overtime.
His tone further rising into arrogance, a fuel for Michael's anger...exploding like a bursting firework, he swung his sword in a rash fashion.
Manas Michael : You dare talk after relying on a fleeting power ?!
[Deva] rose up, it was a emotional attempt without any sense of reason...no art to it, even a genesis blade strongest in the world was rendered useless and incompetent hands.
Dawn scoffed and caught the sword by the blade, his skin directly catching the sharp edging sinking slightly cutting the palm of his hand.
Blood gushing out in a smooth flow, cooling down from the top to the hilt...this action of his stunned the Manas.
Dawn : Again you are right, I can only achieve things by borrowing power from others...
Firmly gasping [Deva], he pulled the blade toward him...in the process, shaking Michael off balance as he didn't let go of the sword.
Dawn : Don't blink, little man.
His crystal colored eyes meeting the crimson manas pupils, a flash of destruction followed as Dawn dented his fist right into the Manas's stomach.
The impact crackles the air traveling across Michael's body, a shockwave bursting through into a tunnel of wind.
That single blow left the manas defeated, his body falling powerless...only leaving [Deva] as the mark of an existing battle.
Dawn : This sword is too good for you, besides you aren't even its true owner so I'll take it rightfully as the winner.
Shattering the bond that the genesis blade upheld with its previous owner...Dawn smirked confirming the warm handle.
Genesis class weapons are the ultimate grade but none of the 7 original genesis weapons are like Shin Exalia, dotted with a consciousness and will.
Still all of these weapons have the potential to awaken a will, just like the ultimate skills...[Deva] might not be alive in the true sense of the word.
But in Dawn's hand, the blade felt particularly at the right belonging place...
Dawn : I guess you missed the touch of a true swordsman.
The essence of an individual lay in his soul, Rudra being gone...even if his body remained, it would never replicate the same warmth that the soul emanated.
[Deva] perfectly gasped that notion and Michael never managed to satisfy the blade's thirst.
Dawn : I'll take this back too.
Satisfied with [Deva], the sword was never Dawn's main priority...no, what he really came for is the dragon core of Velzard.
Having [God's Authority] whose most prominent creation is the True dragon, he could see the glow of the dragon core through Michael's clothes.
No matter how well hidden it is, Dawn will naturally find it in the end...stretching his arm out, he pointed his palm toward the motionless corpse of Michael.
A second passed then two, energy gathered around the hero's hand...and finally, the core magically appeared within his reach like it was always there.
Dawn : (As expected, it's cold...and disgusting.)
Clicking his tongue, he kicked Michael away, sending him crashing into a building nearby, holding [Deva]...
He performed a clean slash cutting the land in half, the property of stardust taking effect...he wiped out of existence all remnants that bend through his way.
Marking the definitive end of Manas : Michael, an overwhelming difference in arsenal and power.
Dawn : This makes it 5 kills now.
Sighing, he watched silently the particles of light floating up to heaven, those were the ultimate skill trapped within Michael.
As the Lord of Justice ceased to exist, the ultimate skill itself was voided of its right...there will be no more Lord of Justice, nor Manas : Michael.
Dawn : (Chloe should have gotten to Leon by now, she should have managed to get out by herself...)
The barrier made of his aura is particularly dangerous for those deemed enemies by the wielder.
Leon might possess ill intent toward Dawn, but with Chloe...they will manage it as Dawn expected.
After all, the battle here has yet to end...there is a reason as to why Dawn isolated himself from the rest of the world and lured the battle site to Eldorado.
Dawn : Now are you going to keep hiding in there ? Get out already you parasite !
A trail of fury followed his eyes as he suddenly glared at the dragon core in his hand, with a swift motion he threw the sphere up to a medium height.
[Deva] then proceeded to rise, its light reflecting the very fabric of the galaxy...a clean cut perforates the dragon core, crackling its side.
A loud shattering sound resonated with the surrounding as a dark energy escaped the core taking shape into a humanoid form further away.
While the transformation took place, Velzard's dragon core fell right back onto Dawn's hand as he reconstructed the sphere using the Authority and his own ice magic.
Dawn : (In a way, Velzard and I are truly related now...)
The most accurate term would be quarter sibling at this point, a reason more for him to take care of this precious core.
Holding it firmly, he glared at the newly emerged shadow...a man wavered through the pulse of darkness, standing tall in a classy suit.
Silverish hair and heterochromatic eyes...blue and red just like Luminous, this man held himself proudly with his hands in his pocket.
A cocky smirk as he floated down, the progenitor of all living race...the mad scientist, father of Luminous Valentine and last Apostle of the Author, Twilight Valentine.
Twilight : Impressive rightful hero, you successfully swiped everyone in your plan, truly formidable.
Landing, his shoes turned the ground into a crimson liquid similar to blood...Twilight viciously held out his hand to clap.
Exquisitely licking his lips, he had witnessed all through Velzard while hiding in her core...something that isn't normally possible.
Only manageable by this crazy scientist that experimented on himself...the remnant of his soul after Luminous disintegrated him, those fragmented will emerged as one to become a life form similarly close to a Manas.
Manas : Twilight Valentine, that would be the true name of the being standing before the hero.
Dawn : Yet you came out at the least opportune moment.
Twilight : Hah, I wonder really how far the extent of your knowledge goes...tell me, how far into the unknown have you deduced ?
Narrowing his eyes, Twilight didn't notice it at first but even back then 2000 years ago...this hero had known of his existence in Velzard.
But he perfectly hid that knowledge, his acting was to the point of him actually being clueless...but that was answered later when he narrated his story to Velzard.
A reincarnated being who had his memories sealed, but again how did he manage to know about Twilight ? Looking back, he never explicitly told his plan to Velzard, who he trusted the most.
Twilight ; You were wary of me...but I fail to see where you caught my existence in your nest of knowledge, mmh perhaps I was also mentioned in that story of yours ?
Dawn : You are being way too curious, does that even matter when your end is just right at the curve ? (Strange, the Author didn't share the knowledge of the future with him?)
Twilight : Pfffhahaha !
Unexpectedly, the creator of all races bursted into laughter...holding his stomach hysterically, he was truly crazy.
Twilight : Death ? I have devoured that concept long ago ! You are smart, I can give you that but you aren't all knowing, the sole mistake you made is to believe that your borrowed power is supreme !
As expected of him, he had already assessed the nature of Dawn's new power [God's Authority].
And as a testament of luck and fortune, this just seems to align with Twilight's research and reason for hiding within Velzard's core.
Dawn : What a heretic freak.
Twilight : That's right ! If you know me so well then you should also be aware of my true goal ! Here lies your mistake !
His expression going borderline crazy, he appeared more of a drunk madman than a dignified progenitor.
With a swing of [Deva], Dawn readied himself to engage in a fight...whereas Twilight looked completely out.
Dawn : Well then show me that mistake of mine.
Twilight : ...
Gradually calming down, Twilight left out a snicker as a myriad of power manifested from his body...binding the air like invisible shackles.
The power creeped forward to reach Dawn, the seemingly weak spell took the most malicious turn...
Dino on the side far behind who watched the situation unfold silently, he couldn't be more shocked...even when Michael was basically one shotted, Dino barely showed any surprise.
Yet just now...Dawn who had achieved such power that could defeat even the deity of this world...was injured by an unknown spell.
Twilight : That's right ! You see it now, my ultimate masterpiece !
He was overjoyed to see that experiment work, the sight of Dawn's eyes bleeding out fresh crimson blood, his nose and lips welcoming a singular flow of red.
This is Twilight's goal...to kill Veldanava and thus in the process, he created this [Anti-Veldanava] magic.
A complex power created solely for the purpose to kill God...and that power is basically the nemesis of Dawn right now.
Dawn : I see, you truly outdone yourself.
But even as pain surged from his very soul, Dawn remained calm...how could he panic after coming so far ? The weight of some spiritual pain will never outweigh his responsibility.
Dawn : You were one step ahead of me...that would be what I said if you had truly outsmarted me.
Twilight : Huh ?
Dawn : Think carefully Twilight Valentine, don't you feel like the situation is being oddly silent ?
Twilight : What are you sayi-wait...
Tilting his head, he looked around and surely there was only Dino far away as the audience...did Dawn plan something with the location ?
Twilight thoughtfully analysed the hero's words and his surrounding...then it clicked-
Twilight : You made sure to isolate me before I appeared...
Twilight has a high manipulation when it comes to blood, fighting in the middle of a battlefield filled with life would just give him free food to grow and heal.
Twilight : Is that really your sole hidden card ? Disappointing...
Dawn : Is that so ? Actually, I didn't isolate you to protect the other from you.
A surge of killing intent hit the progenitor of all life, Twilight's instinct kicked in heavily...he was now a lifeform similar to a Manas so there is little to nothing he has to fear.
But this hero before him actually killed a Manas just a moment ago...
Dawn : I did to protect everyone from me, surely you don't believe me heartless enough to unleash a destructive spell in the middle of a sea filled with life, right ?
Energy coursing from his body to [Deva], Dawn completely overpowered the [Anti-Veldanava] spell letting his power go rampant.
Colliding with the barrier made with his aura, it was time to put an end to this masquerade.
Dawn : Dino ! You rested long enough ! So leave now !
Calling out the angel, his request was shortly close to insane...if Dino had the time to leave then Twilight as well.
Dino : But how-
Dawn : [Destiny beyond Fate], stay on standby for now !
Dino : Wh-
Sending him away before he could question anything, now it was only Dawn and Twilight...
Twilight ; This...you are even crazier than me.
Looking around, at last Twilight pieces everything together...the barrier that surrounded the island was a distraction.
In reality, Dawn had separated the island and turned it into a complete new world...even if the location was in the central world, Eldorado was now the name of a whole new world with its own structure.
Twilight : You made an entire world to trap me...you fucker...
Dawn : It couldn't be helped, I can't sloppily get rid of you...and any means for that would result in massive destruction.
Twilight : This is truly the power of a god...to create without any chain bounding your soul.
This should be a privilege given to God, even if the world created by Dawn is incomplete due to the lack of life.
He didn't have any way to perform Turn Null, so this world was entirely based on Stardust...
Dawn : I'm glad you like it, as this world will be your grave.
To limit the destruction, Dawn brought [Deva] forward...pointing the tip toward Twilight.
Another surge of power rose, veins of energy filled the fabric of reality all around the newly created world.
Pulsating like bursting veins, it was clear that Dawn created this whole setting so he could unleash a world shattering power.
Dawn : As a Manas and crazy genius, there are countless ways for you to flee and hide...but such a thing would be useless if I simply destroy everything to the last information particle.
Twilight : Really...should i feel honored to know that you went to such length for this little me ?
In contrast to his cocky tone, Twilight was truly pressured...there was no way to avoid this now, without Information particles, he won't be able to resurrect himself.
Dawn was seriously going to detonate everything, a complete crushing victory.
Dawn : Think whatever you want.
Finishing the preparation, the fabrics of space lightened turning all the surrounding into a blank canvas.
The world was already destroyed but due to Dawn's wishes, the true death that awaited Twilight was delayed for them to share another course of words.
Twilight : I can feel it, my existence has already vanished...ahh seriously, to think I would be defeated so easily.
Dawn : Be proud, you are the sole reason for me to perform such a sophisticated strategy.
It is a fact that Dawn secretly shared, if it wasn't for the Authority...Twilight might have achieved much more destruction than needed.
Perhaps only second to Ivarage herself...
Twilight : So why are you keeping me alive ? To mock me ?
Dawn : Not exactly, I know you are hiding that sword...give it to me.
Twilight : Sword ? Oh that cursed weapon gifted to me by the star king...sure take it.
He didn't fight back, instead took out of his soul a wrong looking weapon...another one of the Genesis class weapons [Blood Origin].
Twilight : Though I'm curious as to what glorious purpose are you going to give this abandoned sword.
Dawn : It is just a gift for your daughter.
Twilight : I see, Luminous...mmh, she got a good subordinate.
Getting a hold over [Blood Origin], compared to [Deva]...the blade didn't openly accept his hand.
Twilight : This sword is quite the troublemaker, truly a perfect fit for that troublesome girl of mine.
Dawn : Seems like you didn't leave any curse on it, good.
Twilight : ...
Dawn : I have one last question before you can leave.
Twilight : Just ask, I lost pathetically so just let me die in shame already.
Dawn : What did you receive from the Author ?
Twilight : Huh ? Author...you mean that guy you've been fighting ? Sorry but I have nothing to do with him.
This revelation was a shock for Dawn, he didn't sense any lie and that aside...it was true that Twilight received no power boost by using external force.
Then the Last Apostle of the Author wasn't Twilight Valentine, Dawn was sure that this third Aposte existed but where...
Dawn : I need to go back fast...you can be disposed of now.
Twilight : Hai hai-
With a wave of his hand, Twilight started vanishing just like the rest of creation...the progenitor up until the end gave a solemn look toward the hero.
A hint of regret washing him, another proof that the overwhelming power attained by Dawn turned out to be unmatched.
Meanwhile in the central world, a hole in reality has formed at the location of the previous golden land of Eldorado.
The large island totally went along the ocean in the perimeter...if the world was a large painting, then someone had just thrown a droplet of black.
Beautifully terrifying, and amidst this darkness made of pure void...a light escaaped its shade, coming back after finishing his business.
Dawn emerged back, two genesis swords in his hands...a sea of colors followed as his aura replenished the void left by his own doing.
The sky was given back its bluish light, the air flushed in all directions, the ocean reborn a new filling the hole in reality...
However, nothing of the island holding the nation of Eldorado could be seen...this was the consequence of creation.
Dawn isn't omniscient, he couldn't memorize all of the city and recreate it...what was returned is the natural flow of the world...
An instinctive recreation purely natural, if Eldorado was destroyed then after thousands of years...the current site would have been the result of mother nature regaining manifesting her will.
Dawn : I still have a lot of time...
Looking up, Ivarage was still trying to overpower Shin Exalia...from this distance, Dawn deduced that the world destroying dragon overtook a few inches of distance ever since he left.
Shin Exalia won't break and with the support of Dusk, they will hold for as long as their master needs.
However, what Dawn referred to as « Time » was the cooldown of [God's Authority]...even if it's distant he could already feel the void in certain parts of his memories.
The face of some friends, their name, the shape of the countless city he journeyed in...amm these small details were leaving him, it was a grain of sand in the vast desert of his memory.
Dawn : I should get going, Velzard is waiting...
The cold heat radiating from the dragon core, it took a moment for the sphere to adjust back to the central world's reality.
Revilitalized through Dawn's aura and being freed from any control, the core seemed to have gained a will.
Flying out of Dawn pocket, it reached up, rubbing its surface on Dawn's cheek...affectionate, almost joyous.
Dawn : Yeah let's get you back to your body.
Jolting, the core returned to his pocket hiding itself carefully.
Now was the time to bring back order to the mainland, the imminent threat gone...all that is left are the small fish to hunt.
Dawn : (The last factor that could ruin everything is this third apostle...could it be-)
Murmuring something to himself, he must have realized a possible scenario before directing his attention and form toward the mainland.
