Chapter 1
Amos sat on a chair, in a void stretching infinitely in all directions, his gaze fixed on the camera.
"Hey. This is going to be hard to hear but…"
He sighed, trying to keep his composure, though a hint of frustration could still be heard in his voice.
"The author of The Heir of the Void has informed me that Webnovel decided to reject the contract he applied for."
Amos straightened up, a little calmer after revealing the news.
"First of all, thank you for the 10k views on the book. It really warmed the author's heart… well, I think so. I'm sincerely sorry to the readers who wanted to see the rest, but the author is extremely busy. A tight schedule, and barely 4 hours of free time for the novel. He has a very important exam on June 30th, so he has to stay prepared and can't focus on something that will never bring him any income."
Amos paused for a moment, letting you take in the horrible news.
He took a deep breath again, this time sounding more confident.
"But after that, he'll dedicate himself fully to a complete remaster of The Heir of the Void — everything rewritten, polished, a less chaotic writing pace, and above all, an improved world-building, because honestly, it was completely incomprehensible. Even I had trouble understanding what he meant in three-quarters of his chapters."
Amos let out a small laugh, then stood up from his chair.
"Thank you again for following my adventure over the last 21 chapters and the past 2 weeks. So, we'll meet again in about 2 months — around June 10th — for a strong comeback from me, The Heir of the Void."
Before Amos could make a poetic disappearance, Stellar barged into the frame, a pouty expression on her face.
"I only showed up in like 2 or 3 chapters. This is unacceptable."
Amos scratched the back of his head, knowing she was right.
"That's true… Look, blame the author, not me."
Stellar sighed.
"Well, it's not really his fault."
Leah, in turn, stepped into the scene.
"So, it's over?"
Amos turned towards her, not liking to admit it.
"Sort of. But we'll be back in a polished version — maybe even with a new title."
Leah turned towards Stellar, a bit surprised to see her since they had never met.
"Excuse me, who are you?"
Stellar turned to her, her posture straightening.
"I am Stellar Eralith, Existence Wielder, Your Highness."
Leah sighed.
"No need to call me that."
Stellar's expression softened slightly.
"Thank you, Princess…"
Leah stepped closer and extended her hand.
"Call me Leah."
Stellar smiled warmly, shaking her hand.
"Nice to meet you, Leah."
Amos stepped between them, clapping his hands in the middle of the frame.
"Anyway, we'd better stop here or this will turn into a 2000-word chapter. And one last bit of news: there will be mini side-chapters like this one while waiting for the release of the remaster of THOTV (The Heir of the Void). Don't worry, there won't be any spoilers."
Amos, Leah, and Stellar bowed as the camera slowly zoomed out from the scene.
Thank you all so much, I love you guys.
