Chapter 216 - Chapter 0214 – Severing the Void

The tower-like shield-and-blade warrior was surrounded and attacked—yet Yi Tianxing still forcefully killed him, piercing his throat with a single spear thrust.

Spear intent clashed with shield intent.Force battled against force. In that clash, Yi Tianxing clearly held the upper hand—not only shattering the warrior's shield, but slaying him outright with one strike.

But it wasn't without cost.

The dense, storm-like rain of sword light fell upon him. Though his armor blocked much of it, it couldn't withstand everything. The sword energy contained within the blades was too wild, too invasive. Even with the powerful protection of the armor, it was still torn in places. Blades pierced through, striking his body.

The Dimensional Slash was even sharper, blindingly fast. It tore through his armor and struck him directly.

"What a brutal attack... We can't hold back—if we do, none of us will leave here alive!"

The wind mage let out a sharp cry and waved her staff.

Spell—Wind Bind!Spell—Divine Wind Slash!

"You'll taste the power of necromancy!"

The undead mage's voice was cold as ice. With a wave of his skeletal staff, countless white bones appeared in midair without warning. These bones formed spears, reeking of corpse stench and rot—disgusting and repulsive to all who saw them.

Necromancy—Corrosive Spear!

Necromancy—Hand of Death!

A terrifying white bone spear and a spectral hand formed of bones lunged at Yi Tianxing. At the same time, undead skeletons began rising endlessly from the ground.

Yi Tianxing, completely unflustered, summoned his Yin-Yang Locks with a thought. They swiftly lashed onto the skeletons, instantly suppressing them and pulling the soul flames right out of their bones.

Boom!

With a swing of his battle spear, Yi Tianxing shattered the Wind Bind spell bearing down on him and clashed directly with the massive Divine Wind Slash. Though the Divine Wind Slash was strong, it could not withstand the might of his spear. It collapsed. With a backhand thrust, he intercepted the Corrosive Spear.

Spear tip met spear tip.

The Corrosive Spear held a deadly poison—corpse venom. Once infected, flesh would rot and slough off like a decomposing corpse.Yi Tianxing's spear shattered it easily, but the poisonous green mist it released rushed toward him. His armor flared with light, holding the toxic cloud at bay.

"Stop him from getting close!"

The spatial mage paled when he saw Yi Tianxing approaching and shouted in alarm.

That spear of Yi Tianxing's was far too lethal. He killed without hesitation, and even the heavily armored blade-and-shield warrior had been slain in mere moments. The pressure he gave off was terrifying.

No words. Just one strike—life or death decided.

Any defense crumbled before his spear.

Spell—Wind Wall!Spell—Bone Brambles!

Before Yi Tianxing, white bone brambles rose from the earth—razor-sharp, deadly. A green wind wall stood firm to block the path.

Without a word, Yi Tianxing stepped forward. With that step, a shockwave of true energy blasted from beneath his feet, blowing the bone brambles apart. His spear struck the wind wall, tearing through it with unstoppable spear intent.

"If you want to kill, you'll have to step over my corpse first!"

The Storm Swordsman blocked his path, sword in hand. With a flash, his blade turned into a swirling storm of sword light, each strike infused with storm sword intent. In the blink of an eye, hundreds of slashes came at Yi Tianxing, like lightning—inescapable.

Yi Tianxing disappeared within the storm of swords.

But the next instant—

A glowing white jade spear tore through the sea of sword light. Every slash it touched was shattered. Sword light fell like snow.

From within the blinding light came a burst of killing intent.

With a roar, the battle spear pierced the Storm Swordsman's chest, bursting from his back.

"Then I'll step over your corpse."

Yi Tianxing said coldly, lifting the Storm Swordsman's body on his spear and letting it hang in the air.

"What terrifying spear intent... What powerful armor... What monstrous strength... I didn't die unjustly. One day, I'll challenge you again. My name is Artis."

Though he died unwillingly, the Storm Swordsman did not curse—only acknowledged Yi Tianxing's strength.

"Dimensional Shackles!"

The spatial mage, seeing the Storm Swordsman slain, turned pale and pointed with one finger. A silver-white chain appeared, shooting toward Yi Tianxing. Where it passed, space itself seemed to freeze—like invisible cuffs binding his limbs. The air around him grew heavy and restrictive.

"A shame... That still can't bind me."

Yi Tianxing frowned, then exploded with strength from deep within his body. With a shockwave, the silver chains shattered into fragments.

"Eh? A thief!"

At that moment, Yi Tianxing felt something vanish from his waist—a dimensional pouch, gone without a trace. His incredible bodily awareness caught the faintest trace of an unseen force. Through his innate Yin-Yang Eyes, he instantly spotted a sneaky figure clutching his stolen pouch.

A thief.

His eyes shifted to Redleaf hiding in the shadows.

Yi Tianxing smirked coldly. So Redleaf's not giving up. Found herself an accomplice—one who awakened an Invisibility Aperture to try and steal back the Monkey Wine. Too bad... That pouch was empty. I've got plenty just like it stored in my Spirit Pearl Space. That one was just for show. But you dared to steal from me? You'll pay back a hundredfold.

"Stealing from your Grandpa Green Emperor? You didn't ask for permission!"

A flash of green lightning streaked by—Green Emperor appeared, eyes gleaming. Though he couldn't see the thief, he could smell the unfamiliar scent. Without hesitation, he pounced and bit down hard.

"Aaahhh!"

A scream rang out in the air. Blood splattered—then the scream quickly faded.

"Nice bite."

Yi Tianxing watched calmly as the Green Emperor chomped the thief on the butt and refused to let go. The thief frantically slapped its head, dragging the dog behind him as he fled at top speed.

Greased lightning couldn't match him.

"Kill!!"

Yi Tianxing turned and flung his spear at the remaining three mages.

"Go! Into the portal! Yi Tianxing is far beyond expectations—we can't fight him. Move fast! I can't hold the portal much longer—this awakened divine talent drains too much mana!"

The spatial mage shouted urgently.

Both their frontline warriors had died. If they stayed, they had less than a ten percent chance of victory. But if they fled, their survival was almost guaranteed.

The three mages didn't hesitate. They ran for the portal.

Yi Tianxing watched them calmly, eyes gleaming coldly. He didn't stop them.

"He's not trying to stop us? Something's wrong. He must be plotting something..."

The wind mage glanced back, just in time to see the cold smile on Yi Tianxing's lips. Unease grew in her heart.

But it was already too late.

"If you want to leave, take this—Yin-Yang Shears!!"

Yi Tianxing's voice rang out coldly.

ROAR!!

A pair of black-and-white scissors appeared in midair. The moment they appeared, they transformed into two monstrous serpents—one black, one white. They were infused with pure innate Yin and Yang, twisting together as they surged toward the portal like divine weapons.

Black and white divine light filled the void.

There were no words to describe the shear.

It was the very embodiment of Yin and Yang dividing the heavens and earth.

"NO!!"

The three mages, already halfway into the portal, screamed in horror.

The Yin-Yang Shears trembled space itself—the portal wavered, twisted.

Then, in a flash of black and white, the portal was cut in two.

It shattered. The three mages inside were instantly obliterated—reduced to dust.
