The manager had become the new star manager of the sales department, leading in performance last month. She finds herself superior to others and naturally she wonders how Elara caught the president's eyes.
That bitter female manager confronted Elara. "What tricks did you use to get noticed by the president?"
Elara let out a quiet sigh. Why are so many people obsessed with climbing into Damien's bed? If it were really that easy, wouldn't it be crowded by now?
Keeping her composure, Elara replied flatly, "It has nothing to do with me."
The female manager scoffed. "Oh really? Aside from clients and the president, No one else is allowed in this restaurant's reserved VIP rooms and yet you just came from eating with them. Do you really expect me to believe that?"
Seeing Elara stay calm only fueled her anger. She stepped forward and grabbed Elara's wrist. "You're not walking away until you tell me the truth!"
