Prince Alexander got up just like she requested. He didn't seem to be bothered by her reluctance as well.
Odette took a step back and stared at the prince suspiciously. She didn't expect that telling him her secret would cause him to suddenly make a vow to protect her.
She believed she shouldn't involve someone else in her problem, especially when she was on the run against a man who was probably as strong as a God.
But then again, Odette felt no ill will coming from Prince Alexander. He seemed to be in control of his emotions, and was respectful enough not to force himself to her.
Thus, Odette slowly let go of her suspicion… for now.
"I just think we can work together as allies who keep each other's secrets, Your Highness. Naturally, I will also work hard to help you if you ever need my help. We are partners, right?" Odette proposed, and Prince Alexander couldn't ask for a better opportunity.
