"Relax, didn't I tell you that they are not dead? They simply disappear from the naked eye," the Masked Alpha reminded. "If you want it to return, just summon it again like before."
"Libero, Ligero!" Odette chanted right after getting the instruction, and the light ball joined its siblings, circling her waist. It smiled at Odette and cheered, "Ma-ma!"
Odette sighed in relief.
"See? Those light balls don't feel hurt, and they're happy to help. They can also act as an automatic shield. Let me show you," the Masked Alpha glanced at Odette's leg, and chanted softly, "Vortexus Arcanum."
A lightning bolt suddenly appeared out of nowhere and shot directly towards Odette's leg. It was so fast that Odette had no time to respond, but one light ball on her waist reacted quickly.
It stood right before the dark bolt and absorbed the attack before slowly turning into smoke and disappearing.
