Liam Spencer listened to the girl's taunts, walked up to the hospital bed, reached out and grabbed her by the throat, and viciously questioned, "Are you tired of living?"
Jane Spencer saw this, immediately grabbed her brother's wrist, and shouted at him, "What are you doing? She's pregnant now, no matter whose child it is, you can't harm her, or you'll be killing two lives."
Liam reluctantly removed his hand from Maya Spencer's neck upon hearing his big sister's advice.
He couldn't understand, how could a young girl be so infuriating, always choosing the ugliest words to say. Couldn't she see that he felt guilty towards her? Couldn't she see that he was trying to protect her? She acted like a firecracker, even learned to self-ignite. Did Maya really think she could make waves as she pleased? Not knowing how to appreciate kindness at all.
Liam didn't understand, Maya didn't need his guilt at all, nor his protection.
