Na-ri dropped Minji off outside her apartment.
Na-ri pulled up to the curb in silence. The soft hum of the car engine was the only sound between them.
"We're here," she said gently.
Minji turned to her with a small smile. "Are you okay driving back alone?"
Na-ri nodded, but her voice came out low. "Yeah. I'll be fine."
Minji paused, studying her face. "Na-ri… what you told me earlier. About being scared to fall for Jin Woo—"
"I meant it," Na-ri interrupted softly, eyes staring ahead. "I'm scared."
Minji reached out and squeezed her hand. "Whatever happens, I'm here. You don't have to go through this alone."
Na-ri gave a tiny smile. "Thanks."
They said goodbye, and Na-ri waited until Minji had safely gone into her building. Then, once she was alone, her shoulders dropped. She rested her forehead on the steering wheel, closing her eyes with a sigh that came from deep within.
After a few seconds, she whispered, "What am I even doing…?"
