I woke up to a white ceiling greeting me.

"I'm glad you arrived quickly," a familiar voice said.
As I sat up in bed, my first thought was of my child and Shuan.
Those present remained focused on me—Manang, our driver, Ate Sha. Seb and his parents were also there.
Why am I the only one in this room? Where is Shuan?
"Are you okay, dear? Are you hungry?" Manang asked.
"Shuan? Is he there? Tied up and bruised, why isn't he with me?" I asked weakly.
They fell silent.
"N-no..." I sobbed.
I covered my face with my hands. I heard the door open and breathed a sigh of relief—it was Shuan, wearing a hospital gown.
"You're okay. Our baby's okay?" He said happily as he approached me.
He enveloped me in his arms.
"You're safe now. I love you."
He placed his hand on my belly. "Hi baby, I miss you." Our eyes met.
"I miss you too," I smiled.
He kissed me again.
"Hey, not now, eat first. The baby is hungry."
I held my belly as I felt the water break and sat on the sofa.
"Manang, I'm going into labor!" I screamed in pain. I inhaled, exhaled.
"Oh my, wait, I'll call the one who will take us to the hospital." Manang quickly ran out of the mansion.
I tried to calm myself down.
Soon, the men arrived and carried me. They put me on a tricycle, and we quickly headed to the hospital.
"Ire pa po," the birthing specialist said to me.
I pushed with all my strength, and soon I heard the cry of a baby. As my OB said, it's a girl. I just smiled.
The room darkened.
I realized that halfway through my journey, I would devote my life to my child and husband, and as the months passed, I became happier. And Baby Arria was born.
Her first cry was music that brought joy to me.
I looked at the little being with a pointed nose, as if questioning what awaited her in the new world she was entering.
I touched her innocent face, and there, I felt warmth and knew she would be a good child.
Soon, a joyful nurse arrived, full of joy and asked with a smile, "What is the name of your sweet baby?"
"Shaina Arrianne Villamor," I smiled, pronouncing each letter of her name.

"Yes, baby?" I asked, squeezing her cheeks.
She just laughed. "D-dada," she said sweetly.
I looked behind me.
Shuan. "You look like your mama," he said as he squeezed our child's cheeks and lifted her up.
"Really..." I confirmed, surprised when he kissed me on the lips.
"I love you," I said.
"I love you, Shay, and Princess of Dada," he kissed me while Arria was between us.
"I love you too."
As the months passed, our bond deepened. Along with Baby Arria's growth, I felt the blossoming of love in our small family. Each day brings new hope, and as we journey together, we understand more the true meaning of love and care. We don't know what the future holds, but rest assured we are ready to face it together. In our happy togetherness, our love continues to grow over time.
