The battlefield was nothing but dust and ash. The once-proud city of Capriha had been reduced to a war-torn memory. And amidst the rubble, Felicia stood still, her breath shallow, her heart pounding—not from fear of death, but the echo of a promise made long ago.
The red feather in her hand flickered softly. It was warm. Almost alive.
FLASHBACK – ASTRAL LEGION, MIDNIGHT
The moonlight bathed the faction grounds in silver. Felicia sat alone, curled into herself, eyes puffy from tears. Her trembling had set off the emergency alarm.
Riah arrived first, with Kazimir not far behind.
Riah: "Felicia? What's wrong? You were crying and screaming in your sleep. The whole alarm system went off…"
Felicia: "They're looking for me…"
Riah: "Who?"
Felicia: "My… brothers and sisters."
She paused, burying her face in her hands.
Felicia: "I was a test subject. My mother experimented on over 250 children—her own children. Trying to create the perfect anti-parasite weapon. I was the only one who survived. The successful one. She… she killed herself months later. But their voices… I still hear them. Every night. Calling for me. Asking why I lived and they didn't…"
Kazimir: (softly) "That burden… it's heavy. You've carried it longer than anyone should. But don't let them win. You are not their guilt."
Riah sat down beside her, resting a gentle hand on her shoulder.
Riah: "You're stronger than you know, Felicia. And I want to give you something."
She pulled a glowing red feather from her sleeve.
Riah: "This will block out the voices. It's imbued with my essence—Phoenix Flame. Keep it close. When the time comes, it will protect you."
Felicia took it like it was the last piece of a broken soul. She cried into Riah's arms as Rmir, the lightning wolf, crawled into her bed that night, curling beside her protectively.
PRESENT – FELICIA'S AWAKENING
Standing now with the city on fire, Felicia clutched the feather as it dissolved into her chest—sparks trailing into her soul.
Felicia: (whispering) "Riah… your flame never left me."
A brilliant light exploded from her body.
Blue and black phoenix flames surged outward, taking the form of a giant bird of rebirth. Her armor changed—silver and midnight, edged in glowing sky-blue. Her hair turned black, and her eyes shimmered with divine fury. It was the birth of Phoenix Ember.
The others felt it instantly.
Kamaki: "Is that… Riah?"
Gendai: "No… that's Felicia. She overloaded."
Raijin: (grinning through blood) "HELL YES! Let's GO!"
Felicia pointed her greatsword to the sky.
Felicia: "Phoenix Blast!"
A colossal beam shaped like a phoenix tore through the air. Foogle barely dodged—but Felicia was already on him, her blade raining strikes like firestorms from heaven. They clashed in the sky, lines of flame and darkness trailing behind their movements.
She slammed Foogle into the earth. An explosion followed.
But he wasn't down yet.
Foogle reappeared in a flash, slashing Felicia's arm. Blood painted the sky. Just before he could follow up—Gendai appeared in her emerald-silver form, striking him back.
Raijin: (joining them, eyes blazing) "You really lit a fire under me, Felicia! Time to go all in!"
The trio fought like one body—rotating strikes, covering each other, pushing Foogle back. Kamaki joined, grinning like a madman.
Kamaki: "You did good, girl. Time to finish what we started."
Felicia raised her sword and shouted:
Felicia: "Ablaze Rebirth!"
A healing wave pulsed from her body, restoring everyone's stamina and closing their wounds. More than just power—it was hope.
FOOGLE'S RETREAT
Foogle, now burned, bloodied, and unable to regenerate, turned and ran—leaping across the sea to an island beyond.
But none of them let up.
They pursued like a pack of wolves. Their breaths synchronized. Their wills united.
And that's when Tyrone and Lihanna appeared.
Raijin: "What the hell—Tyrone?!"
Gendai: "You brought Rmir!?"
Tyrone: "Kazimir entrusted him to me. Let's end this!"
Tyrone shouted.
Tyrone: "RMIR! FETCH THAT SOUL!"
From his shadow, the five-tailed lightning wolf emerged—massive, divine, undeniable. It howled like thunder incarnate and bolted across the sea, faster than any of them.
Foogle turned—and saw his end.
Rmir bit through him, tossed him into the air, and fired a Beast Lightning Nova at the red planet above—the one that birthed this chaos.
The blast disintegrated Foogle and obliterated the planet in the sky.
Silence fell.
AFTERMATH – ISLAND SHORE
The wind cooled.
Ash drifted like feathers.
Gendai: "...It's over."
Raijin: "Tyrone has a lightning wolf now? Bro... that's crazy."
Lihanna: "Kazimir lend him that. And yes, he's a Kijinn."
Gendai: ''Its Rmir"
Raijin: "Whatever. Everyone overloaded tonight. Even her."
Lihanna: "You overloaded too, dumbass."
Raijin: "So what?"
Kamaki: (laughing) "You're all idiots. But good job."
Felicia looked at the sky, quiet tears in her eyes.
Felicia: (monologue)"Riah… we did it. I'm still standing. I'm still me.You protected me… even in death."
NEVE & JESSIE POV
They watched the sky calm from afar.
Jessie: "It's over. The moon's gone. Rmir handled everything."
Neve: "So… the big dog was the key this whole time. Why didn't we think of that?"
Jessie: "Because we're both dumbasses."
Neve: (sighs) "Yeah… Hey, where's Ingress?"
INGRESS POV – ELSEWHERE
He stood in darkness, eyes glowing red, lips twisted into a grin.
Ingress (monologue):"So… the blood moon has fallen.But now… I have the authority to recreate it.The crown of the vampire king is mine.Kazimir…Soon the Eye of Nullity will awaken.And when it does, I'll rewrite this world as its hero.After I destroy you."
