Chapter 35 - chapter 35

Robert, how many hidden abilities does this kid have that we don't even know about?

How can we, the dignified X-Men, be outclassed by a child?

Cyclops' expression twisted with a complicated mix of emotions.

Robert didn't know what Cyclops was thinking. If he did, he'd probably just laugh.

The X-Men aren't weak because of their inherent strength; they're weak because they haven't fully unleashed their potential.

Take Phoenix Girl, for instance — if Alanna broke free from her seal, she could obliterate the entire universe in an instant.

Cyclops' power is terrifying on its own. The energy in his eyes is nearly limitless; cutting through mountains is child's play for him.

Storm's ability to command the weather? Everyone already knows how powerful that is — she showed her might earlier in the battle.

Among the four X-Men present, Wolverine is actually the weakest in terms of raw attack power.

So no, the X-Men aren't weak. They're simply not fighting at full capacity.

But compared to Robert, who has his own unique cheat code, they naturally fall short.

"Teacher, what do we do now? Do we go back?" Robert asked.

In his mind, returning to fishing sounded perfect. He'd already rescued his Teacher; why stick around and get tangled up in trouble?

"Robert, you think too simply."

"But I'm afraid leaving isn't an option," Alanna said gravely.

Robert turned his head. In the distance, dense black dots were flying toward them — so closely packed they triggered his trypophobia.

And the number? At least ten times more than before. Mixed among them were massive warships.

"Have the Chitauri gone insane? Why are they throwing everything at us?"

"And where are the Avengers? What are they even doing?" Robert couldn't help but ask.

This was madness.

They'd just come to scavenge some benefits. Why was the Chitauri main fleet coming after them?

And weren't the Avengers supposed to handle things?

Robert recalled that in the movies, the Avengers fought hard but managed to contain the Chitauri within a few city blocks.

Thor, Hulk — those monsters could mop the floor with these guys. Even Black Widow, armed with just pistols and electric shock devices, took down loads of them.

So what was happening now?

But movies are movies. This was real life.

The Chitauri weren't some Saturday morning cartoon villains — they were a civilization capable of space travel and galactic warfare.

Their ships and soldiers were far more powerful than anything humans had faced.

Black Widow and Hawkeye's weapons? They couldn't even scratch the biological armor the Chitauri soldiers wore.

The Avengers had lost two members and gained two burdens. Honestly, it was a miracle they'd held on this long.

Robert didn't know exactly what had gone wrong.

But now wasn't the time to dig into the details.

The Chitauri fleet was already upon them.

"What do we do?" Cyclops asked Robert directly.

The tone made it clear: he no longer saw Robert as a student, but as an equal.

"Don't worry. This is just a small problem."

Robert smiled.

With a casual wave of his hand, green light flashed.

Chapter 31: Is This Technology Even Human-Made?! [Seeking flowers and evaluation tickets!!]

Superman was always strong. Possessing Superman's power meant standing above the world.

However, the Bronze Superman had his flaws.

Unlike the Silver Age Superman, who could manipulate energy and the rules of reality itself, the Bronze version lacked large-scale attack options.

One-on-one, even the strongest Avengers like Thor and Hulk could maybe hold their own.

But against the sheer numbers of Chitauri swarming like bees, Superman's might fell short.

Sure, given enough time, he could kill them all — but by then, Earth might already be lost.

Luckily, Robert had a game-changer: the Green Lantern Ring.

It covered the Bronze Superman's biggest weakness.

With the precise coordination of the Clown Mind Network and the Green Lantern Ring, Robert's area-of-effect capabilities skyrocketed.

Faced with the dark cloud of Chitauri overhead, Robert wasn't the least bit nervous.

In a flash of green,

dozens of towering mechs appeared around the group.

Powered by his will, the Green Lantern Ring conjured up giant exoskeletons — machines straight out of The Matrix, like the Rebel Army's battle suits against the main AI brain.

Each mech's arms ended in massive Gatling guns, their ammo belts thick and heavy. Just looking at those 20+ millimeter rounds told you they weren't for show.

Brutal, raw, and radiating destructive beauty.

Completely different from Tony Stark's sleek and polished Iron Man suits.

The X-Men stood frozen, jaws slack in astonishment.

"What... what are these?" Alanna's eyes glowed faintly with psychic light.

"They're weapons, of course."

"Come on, everyone, grab a seat. Let's show these Chitauri what real power looks like!"

Robert grinned, motioning them over.

Without waiting, he hopped into one of the mechs.

As he settled in, the giant exosuit roared to life.

Clatter! Clatter! The ammo belts rattled as Robert's face lit up with sheer satisfaction.

What man didn't dream of piloting a mech?

Who could resist controlling a war machine like this?

He used to watch these scenes on TV with envy.

But now, he was in the cockpit himself.

Green Lantern Ring — forever a god-tier cheat!

Buzzing with excitement, Robert raised both his massive, armored arms. The twin Gatling guns locked on to the Chitauri swarm above.

"For Zion!"

Da-da-da-da-da!

Robert unleashed hell.

Green tracer rounds streaked toward the sky, turning into a lethal storm.

Shell casings poured down like rain around the mechs, vanishing before they hit the ground.

Above, the Chitauri soldiers dropped from the sky like flies caught in a smoke cloud.

Some of their landing crafts exploded on impact, setting off chain reactions.

Yellow sparks lit up the sky in bursts, as the dark swarm fragmented and fell.
