Everyone Waited Until Early Morning, The Grandfather Asks Little water do You Want to
Discuss Dao Again.
Then Little water Says " Why Not,let's Do It."
"The foundation of my Enlightenment," the old ancestor of the Fire Clan declared, his blazing aura swelling like a burning tide, "is not just fire... it is destruction."
Flames raged in all directions. The earth cracked beneath his feet as lava oozed upward, searing the sky with a haze of ash and heat. Even the clouds above darkened under the pressure of his fiery domain. His eyes were filled with madness and fervor, and his burning fire ring expanded, smothering all insects, devouring moisture, and turning stones to molten dust.
But Little Water stood still, his form unmoved. A thin smile traced his lips.
"So this is the Complete Enlightenment Domain," he said softly, voice cutting through the wave of pressure like a blade of wind. His robe flapped gently in the heated gusts, and yet the aura around him remained untouched. Calm. Serene. Like the surface of a tranquil lake resisting the storm.
The ancestor narrowed his eyes. "Why are you not affected? Are you a monster in disguise, boy?"
Little Water looked upward. His gaze didn't challenge—it pondered. His spiritual form glowed faintly, a silver-blue aura woven with tiny icy crystals that flickered in and out of existence.
"Because this is only an incarnation," Little Water replied.
The ancestor frowned. "What?"
"I'm not the main body. I am only an incarnation, a strand of spiritual aura given form. My true self sleeps somewhere quietly... under a house, far from here, maybe dreaming of rain."
The ancestor paused. The heat in the domain pulsed with his hesitation. Even Su Ling Long, the Sect Leader, turned with surprise. That pressure, that presence, all from an incarnation?
Little Water gently raised his hand. His aura shimmered. "And this..."
With a slow motion, he stepped forward. The heat trembled around him.
"This is my domain. Or at least... the shadow of it."
The warmth died as frost claimed the earth below his feet. Cracks spidered outward as hoarfrost spread in geometric patterns. Above, instead of firestorms, clouds formed in quiet spirals. The temperature plummeted. The ancestor's domain recoiled slightly, reacting to the new pressure.
"It is still incomplete," Little Water admitted. "Not yet worthy of being called a true Enlightenment Domain. I have glimpsed the Heavenly Law, but I have not made it mine. I am still searching."
The ancestor's brow tightened. "Then why show me this now?"
"Because even an incomplete domain has meaning."
The two forces—Fire and Ice—pulsed in silence. They didn't clash. Not yet. But they pressed into each other like waves on opposite shores.
Little Water raised his hand once more.
"Senior, if you wish... you can help me complete it. Let our domains meet. Let them crash. Maybe we both learn something."
There was silence. Then a booming laugh shook the valley.
"HA! Boy! You're mad—but I like it. It's been decades since I truly tested my Dao. If it is understanding you seek, I shall grant you the storm you desire!"
The old man stepped forward, his blazing domain blazing brighter, casting golden-red hues across the valley. The lava simmered louder. His fiery ring surged forward.
Little Water's eyes flashed. His palm turned upward, and with a quiet hum, his aura bloomed.
A translucent ring of mist encircled him. It was icy, but not cold. It whispered the breath of mountain springs, of snow resting on temple roofs, of silence within snowstorms. It was peace wrapped in chill.
The two Enlightenment domains expanded.
One was destruction through heat.
One was stillness through frost.
They collided.
BOOM!
The clash of domains rippled through the atmosphere. A dome of light and power erupted, blinding even Su Ling Long. Even the sealed sphere where Spirit Fairy and Little Fire were remained untouched but slightly shook.
Within the storm of clashing laws, Little Water floated—his spiritual form trembling under the stress of keeping up with a domain far more mature than his own.
Yet his eyes were clear. Focused.
Each pulse of the fire domain brought chaos. Mountains cracked. The air distorted.
But each breath of his frost domain brought calm. Earth reformed. Air stilled. Life paused.
The two were opposites. Yet not enemies.
Inside the clash, Little Water's aura flickered—then sharpened. He was learning. Each shock to his domain refined the patterns. Each beat of pressure added to the truth he sought. It was not about winning. It was about understanding.
"Fire burns," he murmured, as a lash of flame seared the air near him, "but even fire needs fuel."
He answered with mist.
"Ice freezes," he whispered, and the mist crystallized, forming floating shards that hummed like tuned instruments. "But it can also preserve."
The ancestor narrowed his eyes.
He could feel it. The boy was changing. His domain was evolving. The incomplete ring of frost around him started to pulse. Shape. Form. Something deeper.
Suddenly, Little Water clutched his chest.
A jolt.
A spiritual echo. His incarnation shuddered. From the distant main body, a ripple passed through.
He smiled.
"Even in sleep," he whispered, "my other self smiles."
The ancestor noticed the shift. He ceased his next attack.
"You're not just a boy. What are you becoming, child?"
Little Water slowly exhaled, and his domain receded.
Frost wilted. The air settled.
He bowed slightly. "I think... I will find out soon."
The ancestor blinked, and the pressure from his domain dropped as well. The fiery ring dimmed. Lava cooled into stone. The heat dissipated.
The clash was over.
But the lesson remained.
Little Water turned. He looked at the sealed sphere where his brother and Spirit Fairy resided.
From within, a faint warmth and chill leaked out. Twisting together. Embracing.
He smiled gently.
Then turned to the ancestor. "Thank you."
The old man huffed. "I should thank you, brat. I've gained insight into the instability in my flames. Seems destruction without direction... is just madness."
Su Ling Long approached cautiously. "FATHER..."
"Don't worry," the ancestor sighed, waving his hand. "I won't interfere further. Seems Heaven has already chosen its threads."
They all looked to the sealed sphere.
The twin flames of warmth and chill pulsed in quiet unity.
