When some humans used the magical drug, disregarding Egypt's warnings, its initial effects were impressive. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse, just as Egypt had forewarned.
Everyone who consumed the magical drug met the most gruesome deaths imaginable. The diseases intensified and mutated, grotesquely disfiguring those who took it. Consequently, they were eradicated, and their bodies were burned to prevent the mutated diseases from spreading to the rest of the world.
As a result of this catastrophe, the use of the magical drug was banned after claiming the lives of countless people. These losses could have been avoided had they heeded Egypt's warnings from the start.
At that point, the Immortal Trainees claimed that the disaster was due to human weakness, asserting that humans were simply incapable of withstanding the use of magical drugs. Thus, they absolved themselves of any responsibility, refusing to compensate the victims or acknowledge their mistake, placing all the blame on humans instead.
Now, the only hope for a cure lay in turning to Egypt and participating in the world summit it was leading.
However, the Immortal Trainees refused, fearing that accepting would humiliate them and cost them their dignity—especially after the media smear campaign they had launched against Egypt. Similarly, the sorcerers and shamans declined the invitation without providing clear reasons. Yet, their actions suggested they wanted to attend but preferred to wait and see how things unfolded.
There was also growing concern among the sorcerers, shamans, and Immortal Trainees that Egypt was behind the rescue of the supernatural humans from their prisons. When Egypt announced that these supernatural humans would be invited to the summit, many initially assumed it referred to those who had escaped. But after the complete liberation of all supernatural humans—including children—it became clear that Egypt's power exceeded their understanding.
As for the great nations, they also rejected the invitation, fearing Egypt's demands. Instead, they hesitated, choosing to wait and observe the situation.
—
A few days passed without any action from the shamans, sorcerers, Immortal Trainees, or even the great nations. Meanwhile, diseases continued to spread rapidly, and chaos engulfed the world.
But this time, it wasn't the governments, the four great supernatural factions, Egypt, or any world power that acted.
It was the people themselves.
—
A man stood against a wall, his expression filled with despair and regret as he muttered to himself:
"Why didn't I listen to Egypt's warning?"
Was it because his wife was in critical condition, on the verge of death at any moment? Or was it the tempting reward of miraculous healing if she survived—or financial compensation if she didn't?
They had assured him she wouldn't die, claiming that the Immortal Trainees used this drug constantly. He had even seen one of them use it with his own eyes.
Then, he looked at his two young children—now orphans, having lost their mother. His eldest was no more than five years old.
"How will I face them when they grow up? What will I tell them? How can I care for them when I was fired from my job because my company's president is sick?"
He laughed bitterly, tears streaming down his face, before collapsing in despair:
"I have no money… no job… I lost my wife… and I have two children who need food…"
"Why has the world changed like this? Why? Why didn't I listen to Egypt's warning? Could it be that they had the cure all along but wanted to negotiate first? But my country… the great nations…"
He clenched his teeth in anger and continued:
"And the Immortal Trainees, the sorcerers, and the shamans… none of them want to unite or agree!"
"I don't want anything… and neither does any other human… except to live a healthy life…"
—
At that moment, he heard his phone notifications going off. At first, he ignored them, but the flood of alerts became overwhelming, forcing him to check.
When he read the news, his eyes widened in shock.
All across the world, massive protests erupted. Riots broke out. The people demanded that their governments attend the global summit, convinced that Egypt held the solution.
Some people had already listened to Egypt's warnings and were grateful. However, economic struggles, harsh living conditions, and the spread of disease drove people into the streets, demanding either a change in leadership or forcing their governments to attend the summit under Egypt's leadership.
A widespread movement urged everyone to take to the streets and demand change.
"Whether you listened to Egypt's warnings or not, take to the streets for those who died, for any sick relative you have, or because you might be next!"
"Go out now, don't waste time—before another life is lost!"
As the man read these words, he realized he was not alone. Millions of people were facing the same fate. And Egypt might be the only hope left.
He looked at his sleeping children, then made a firm decision. There was no other choice.
He sent his children to his parents to care for them. Then, he too joined the protests.
And he was not alone…
—
The protests started with thousands, then quickly grew into millions. Streets across the world filled with demonstrators, standing in front of government buildings and demanding their leaders accept the global summit to resolve the crisis.
The world was in complete chaos. But at this point, no one cared about anything except their families and their sick loved ones.
Governments sent police and military forces to suppress the protests.
But the response was unexpected.
The soldiers and officers refused to obey orders.
Even they had sick family members. Their loved ones were among the protesters.
Instead of suppressing them, they joined them. Not as enforcers of order—but as protectors, preventing violence and destruction.
—
"Don't think protests won't change anything… The secret of civilizations and nations lies in their people. It is the people who decide whether to change or remain the same. Politics, economics, the Immortal Trainees, sorcerers, and shamans—none of them can stop the will of the people."
"They may see humans as insects, but humans are social beings… They unite in times of crisis… And in the end, they are the true rulers of this world."
—
When world leaders realized the situation was spiraling out of control—that they could lose power or even be imprisoned for their failures—they finally gave in to the people's demands.
But the Immortal Trainees did not accept so easily.
Their leaders went to the world rulers, ordering them to refuse, even threatening to kill them to restore order.
But this time, the greatest shock came.
The rulers flatly rejected their threats.
Not only that—they killed one of the Immortal Trainees, proving they could kill more if necessary.
Governments had not remained idle. They had been studying the weaknesses of the Immortal Trainees, sorcerers, and shamans, learning how to fight them.
With the strange energy now filling the air, the Immortal Trainees could no longer absorb it to restore their strength as they once did.
Armies were given orders to fight back. The soldiers, eager for revenge against the arrogant Immortal Trainees, finally had their chance.
And so, they were driven out by force.
—
When the leaders of the sorcerers and shamans heard this, they were furious.
But they understood—
The world had changed.
And if humans united with Egypt, they would fight them.
Thus, they announced their acceptance of the global summit.
—
When the leader of the Golden Immortal Sect heard this, he was enraged. But before he could say anything…
The Demonic Sect agreed to attend.
Realizing that this would leave the Golden Immortal Sect behind, weakening their influence, they had no choice but to begrudgingly agree.
Thus, the people had forced everyone—the great nations, the sorcerers, the shamans, and the Immortal Trainees—to comply.
