After a while of resting, the three of them left the room and went to what Ray really had to show to Ash. Demittry on the other hand didn't know this but since he was already there, Ray let him tag along with them.
Walking to the farthest room in the palace, the three people arrived in front of the massive door with a mechanical seal and a high-tech knob that can only be opened by the authorized personnel.
Beside the massive door, a huge photo of a person standing in a high ground was hanging magnificently. And it was sealed from its edges to prevent it from all types of microbes that could eventually ruin the picture.
The man in the photo had a jet-black hair and a very peculiarly rare blue eyes, wearing a cavalry armor with a furry neck and was holding a long sword. To top it all, the man in the photo looks so real and it seems looking directly into their eyes. Anyone who could see the picture would definitely know that the person was charismatic and dignified, and will be left in awe.
"Whoa, that photo was really huge, and it looks... so real! Was... Was that Arthur?"
Amazed by the photo, Ash asked with his mouth left wide open and was stuttering. He was dazed by the man's aura even though it was just a photo.
"Yes Ash, that was Arthur Magnus in the photo. I personally oversee the making of that photo. I want it to be perfectly precised to the real thing before hanging it here because this room was dedicated solely to commemorate the memories of the late King Arthur. Anyways, let's stop with the introduction. Why don't I show you what's really inside."
Ray opened the huge door using his magic and went inside, while Demittry and Ash followed him behind.
As they went inside the room, Ash's eyes almost fall to the floor when he saw what really was in it.
"Wow. This place is huge, and all the items here was dashing and shining. I have never seen this kind of items in my life."
Ash was flabbergasted by the things inside the room. Anywhere he look at, he could see a rather complex and beautiful craftsmanship that was clearly used by a very powerful human being. The items was put inside a glass container in order to preserve the item.
Ash wasn't the only one who was in awe by the items present in the room. Demittry's jaw was all over the floor when he saw his late King's property in Ray's possession.
"How... How can you have all the King's item? From the sword down to his ring. Ray, I know you see the late King Arthur as one of your heroes but I never knew you were this obsess with him."
Demittry said as he starts to walk towards the glass containers.
All of Arthur's swords, armors, gears and everything he possessed when he was still alive were collected by the elves and was put in this one room.
"I am not that obsessed with him though, Demittry. It's just that, we elves deemed him so highly even though he was just a human. And even me, an Elven King who should have the upperhand in everything, still think that I can't hold a candle against him. That is why we elves decided to have a very special room dedicated for him and his past possessions."
Ray explained as he followed Demittry. However, Demittry couldn't hear a single word from Ray as he was lost in thought, looking at the items.
Meanwhile, Ash snapped back to reality and had a conversation with his system.
"System, can you do an appraisal?"
[Yes, the system has that feature available for the user. However, it seems like because of the user's current level, the system couldn't reveal all the information of all the items in this room. Only the basic information can be given.]
The system replied, conveying to Ash another restrictions due to his current level.
"That's fine. As long as I can get any information about the items here, I won't mind."
Ash replied and immediately, the system began to appraise the items Ash layed his eyes on.
[Legendary Grade Swords - ???]
Ash was shock to see the Rank of the swords inside the glass containers. He then turn to look at the armors, and his shock was intensified.
[Supreme Grade Armors - ???]
Seeing the Rank of the Armors, Ash immediately turn to look at the gears and he was left speechless, again.
[Mythical Grade Gears - ???]
There was nothing Ash could do besides opening his mouth and gaze to the items without making a sound.
Seeing this reaction, Ray walked towards Ash and tapped his shoulder.
"I know Ash, I had the same reaction when I met Arthur during the Great War. He possessed all these magnificent creations that was clearly having a great power within each on of them. The most mysterious thing about it was the fact that it was all made by an unknown craftsman. Every item in this room was created by a single Craft Master, and until now, we haven't got any clue who this Master was and his whereabouts. Only Arthur was the one who knew but he never told us."
Ray said as he open up one of the five glass containers of the long swords.
"I am very sorry, Ray. It was really my first time seeing a very beautiful weapon in my life, and right now, I am out of words."
"Don't be sorry, Ash. We all had the same reaction at first. Even I, who already have seen these magnificent items a long time ago got shock. How much more you, who only got to see these items today."
Demittry patted Ash's other shoulder.
Ray displayed the beauty of the long sword that he took out by performing some of the sword skills that he know and even though he doesn't know how to weild a long sword, Ray still looks so dashling because of the swords beauty and it seems like the sword is giving him power to weild it properly. The entire room was filled with light particles that came from Ray and the long sword's combined aura.
After performing for just a few moments, Ray was drenched in sweat and he was chasing his breath.
"Whoa! I never knew you were this skilled in weilding a long sword, Ray. Where did you learn to perform this well? And are you okay? You seem to be sweating a lot than usual."
Demittry asked in awe and concern.
"It wasn't me, Demittry. It was the sword. It seems like the sword has the property to amp your powers by feeding it with your powers. You get my point?"
Ray responded panting.
"What? Really? Wait, let me give it a try."
Demittry snatched the long sword from Ray's hand and immediately, Demittry could feel the sword sucking away his magical energy.
"You're right, it definitely is sucking away my energy. No wonder you were chasing your breath after just a few swings. Now I wonder, if this sword is sucking away our energy, how can King Arthur lasts for so long in a battle using these swords?"
Demittry ponders as he return the sword to Ray.
"This is one of the reasons why I told you earlier that even I, an Elven King couldn't hold a candle against him."
Ray shakes his head while returning the sword to its container.
"Arthur was really a great and powerful man. Too bad I haven't met him."
Ash didn't know why he said those words, it just came out of his mouth without him noticing.
Hearing his sad notes, Ray and Demittry counselled Ash.
"Don't worry Ash, I am still here. You can view me as Arthur II."
Demittry jokingly said and Ray couldn't help but give his two cents.
"Yes, Arthur II in his dreams."
"Wha..."
Demittry couldn't respond to Ray's words, and the three of them eventually laugh.
After a few more moments and Ash's mood was back to normal, they continue to scan the rest of the items.
Demittry saw the section for Arthur's dagger and immediately he dashed towards it.
"Oh-ho-hooo! I always wanted to hold one of these beauties. May I take a look at one of these babies, Ray?"
Demittry asked Ray but doesn't wait for his approval and went ahead and open the glass containers.
"You!"
Ray couldn't talk to Demittry anymore as he already did opened the glass.
Ash on the other hand, continued to roam around the room as he was really interested in everything that Arthur possessed when he was still alive. However, in the midst of scanning Arthur's collection, Ash's attention was picked by a very peculiar thing that was put on top of the table right under a huge window.
"What's that? Is that a book?"
As he approached the book, Ash was so shock when the system suddenly appraised it.
[Item - Book]
[Grade - Unknown]
"???"
