Erin and the guild Master head out the back of the guild building to a small arena where Erin's party members sat to watch as well as some guild staff and other adventures.
"You can use any method you want to attack or defend." The guild Master yells pulling out his broadsword that looks to be made of wood but the blade looks as sharp as steel.
Erin grins pulling out his bow and arrow to start with.
The sound of a small bang could be heard marking the start. The guild Master raced towards Erin, what surprised Erin was how slow he is.
With even greater speed and strength Erin leaps into the air easily jumping five meters into the air before a series of magic circles cover his arrow and in a split second the arrow is shot from his bow at the speed of sound, the next moment the guild Master finds his body being flung to the other side of the arena with such force it broke one of his arms.
Looking around the arena the guild Master saw a huge hole where the arrow landed, "An exploding arrow, how impressive." As he stated that his body glows bright before his body starts to take on traits of a dragon, his arm healing rapidly. His speed now on par with the dragon Erin fought before.
Erin grinned as he lands on the ground, instantly his shield and staff appear in his hands. This makes the guild Master step back to reevaluate his methods, but before he could consider his entire body was engulfed in flames no magic circle or incantation was used.
Once the fire disapates everyone saw the guild Master barey standing as burn marks cover his entire body.
Erin yells out "I can continue my assault if you want, by the time you could reach me i can cast five diffrent spells that could easily kill you in a single strike. I've held back by only using A Rank spells but I can resort to stronger attacks."
Everyone looked in shock seeing the damage delt to the infamous guild Master also known as the dragon swordsman and one of the ten strongest people in the country.
"You're very strong, I'm surprised you're able to harness so much strength at a young age. I may need to hand over my title to you once you complete the required quest." The guild Master says before standing up, his dragon form slowly disappearing.
"What quest do I have to do?" Erin asks.
"You must travel to the dungeon of heroes and survive seven days inside. If you do this then you have to beat the weakest out of the ten which is me and I am forced to hand my title over to you." The guild Master says.
Erin thinks ot over before walking away his black cloak flowing in the breeze.
Later on in the guild masters office, "I can't belive it. His power with a bow and arrow was outstanding but it only shone because of his amazing speed and strength but his magic is like unother, one more of those A Rank attacks and I would have been hospitalised, and to think he can use S Rank spells too it's overwhelming." The guild Master mumbles to himself.
Erin follows his party to the dungeon they talked about before. Inside the dungeon various C and B Rank monsters roam, Ike spending some effort clearing them out with Min and Gary's help.
All of the monsters killed drop crafting materials like hide, scales, bones and claws. All fairly usefull for Erin but not amazing like the dragon materials he got.
The first floor is huge, looking around its easily ten times as large as the previous dungeon. Arriving at the second floor the monsters start to get much stronger.
A giant saber tooth tiger attacks them swiftly putting Ike into the ground bleeding heavily before attacking Gary sending him flying.
Erin steps forward holding his shield and staff, the monster faces him before charging at him with immense speed. Without even a word the area fills with flames killing the monster instantly while also healing Ike and Gary back to a stable level.
"Min focus on healing them please, i managed to get them to stability but I need to recover some mana before I can do more." Erin says lying about his mana reserves.
Min races over to them and begins healing them slowly. Erin looks around the area before picking up the materials dropped from the monster he just killed.
Deciding to head back to the city they take it easy heading back letting Erin take out any monsters that get in their way.
Arriving at town Erin tells his party "If any of you want new gear just let me know and I'll craft you some. Just need you to supply the materials and pay me a little." Hoping to start a small business in making gear and items for adventures.
After they all split up Erin decides to head back into the mines to collect more metals and hopefully finish Arnold evolution.
Arriving at the mines he quickly began to mine away at iron ore deposits and occasionally gold ore deposits, after a few hours he drops off everything to his work shop while letting Arnold eat the remaining gold he needed. After a few minutes Arnold glows as he grows much larger and a small crown forms on its head. Focusing in Arnold's stats he sees information form in his head.

Arnold's stats went up by quite a bit which is good and its fire magic improved as well. They return home deciding to relax for the rest of the day, hoping to dive deeper into the dungeon in the morning.
