Chapter 37 - A Gift from Eina

Leon didn't know what had happened there. After killing the Goliath, he started his return journey.

When passing the sixth floor, he completed Naaza's commission by grabbing a small bag of fluorescent powder, and then continued to rush to the ground.

When Leon arrived on the ground, it was already past two o'clock in the afternoon.

Leon did not go to exchange the magic stones. Instead, he took the fluorescent powder to Naaza first and completed the commission.

"Thank you, Leon."

Taking the fluorescent powder from Leon, Naaza gave the reward to Leon, thanking him gently.

"You're welcome."

"I have something else to do, so I'll leave first."

Leon nodded, then said goodbye to Naaza and left.

By the time he returned to the library, Leon saw that the library was already closed.

He knew that Hestia was probably running around to find someone to join her familia again today.

After returning to his room and washing up, Leon set off for the appointment. It was already half past three when Leon arrived at Rebel Square.

The agreed time was four o'clock, so Leon went to a nearby open-air stall and ordered a snack, quietly waiting for Eina's arrival.

However, not long after Leon sat down, Eina appeared. It seemed that Eina had also wanted to wait here in advance.

Looking at Eina standing in the center of Rebel Square waiting, Leon narrowed his eyes slightly.

Then he asked the stall owner to pack a small cake and a cold drink, and walked over quietly.

Eina stood with her hands behind her back, looking around. At this time, Eina was dressed the same as in the original story.

A white long-sleeved shirt, a red pleated skirt with black stockings. She looked young and beautiful, full of vitality.

When people looked at her, their eyes couldn't help but brighten. Even Leon was no exception.

Leon came quietly behind Eina with a small cake and cold drink. He gently patted Eina's shoulder when she looked around.

Feeling a hand on her shoulder, Eina was startled. She looked back and realized that it was Leon. Then, she immediately showed an unhappy expression.

"You startled me, Leon."

Frowning, Eina said to Leon.

"Here."

Leon did not answer, but handed over the packaged small cake and cold drink.

Seeing the exquisite small cake and cold drink in the transparent small box, Eina was slightly stunned, and the unhappy expression on her face gradually faded.

"Thank you, Leon."

Reaching out to take it, Eina smiled and thanked him.

Then, the two began to walk towards the Tower of Babel.

"I know a store with good equipment and very affordable prices. I'll take you there now." Eina said while eating.

"Thank you, Eina."

Leon nodded and thanked her without refusing.

Eina wanted to help him as much as she could, and Leon didn't want to spoil Eina's fun. So Leon didn't refuse Eina's kindness today.

The two chatted while walking, and soon reached the Tower of Babel.

Taking an elevator, the two arrived at the floor where the equipment store Eina mentioned was located.

Under Eina's guidance, Leon soon came to the aforementioned store.

The store was not big, of course that was compared with the store Leon had been to before.

As soon as he entered the store, Leon was attracted by a dazzling array of equipments.

Leon couldn't see anything about the defensive equipment, but he knew about the weapons at a glance.

Although they were novice weapons, they were very sophisticated, and were no worse than those sold in the Hephaestus Familia's store that Leon had visited before.

Moreover, Eina had also said that the price here was much more affordable than other places.

No wonder Eina had brought him here. This place is simply a blessing for new adventurers.

"Leon, pick a set."

Looking at Leon scanning the equipment on the counter of the store, Eina smiled and said.

"Since it is your sponsorship, you can choose."

Leon turned around and looked at Eina and said.

Eina was slightly stunned. She blinked, and then smiled faintly.

"Okay, then I'll pick it for you."

After that, Eina began to patrol in front of the equipment cabinet and picked out the equipment she thought was okay.

"Leon, what kind of equipment do you like?" Eina asked without looking back.

Since this equipment is for Leon, it should naturally be selected according to his preferences.

"Light armor, the white kind." Leon answered without hesitation.

Because of his hair color, Leon liked white items very much, including equipment. He usually wears a white robe in the library.

"White light armor?"

"I understand."

Eina nodded, and then began to choose carefully.

After spending half an hour, she finally decided on a set of white light armor.

The protection that this set of light armor provides is much greater than the one Leon had bought before.

The light armor that Leon used to wear before was not light armor, but rather a few pieces of iron.

Whether it was the chestplate, wrist guards or knee guards, they were all pitifully small.

And the coverage of this set is much greater.

"This is it."

"Leon, go change and have a look."

Eina said to Leon, holding the equipment in her hand.

Leon did not refuse. He took the equipment and walked towards a dressing room.

Soon Leon changed into the equipment and walked out of the dressing room.

Seeing Leon with his new equipment on, Eina's eyes lit up.

"Heroic and high-spirited" is how Leon can be described now.

"It looks very suitable for you. Let's take this set. Is it okay?" Eina said with a smile.

"Well, let's take this set. Thank you very much." Leon nodded slightly and thanked her.

He was very satisfied with this. This set of equipment made him look heroic and majestic.

He didn't look as rough as those burly men, nor as weak as those thin adventurers. It was in line with Leon's aesthetics.

"Then let's take this set."

Eina nodded, and then went to the cashier to pay for the equipment.

As for weapons, Leon said that he didn't need it, and Eina didn't force it.

After buying the equipment, the two left the store and took the elevator to leave the Tower of Babel.

"Speaking of which, this is the first time I have received a gift from someone other than my grandfather. Thank you, Eina."

Walking on the street, Leon said with a smile.

Hearing this, Eina was slightly startled, and then chuckled.

"It seems that I got your first time."

"Uh, I feel that this statement is very controversial."

"Ah, I didn't expect you to think like that."

Leon: "..."

"Are you treating me as a child?"

"How could that be?"

Leon: "..."
