Chapter 30 - Surprise, Surprise. A vision of Demise

Meanwhile, back in Sanctuary, Sora and Levi arrived home and returned to the castle.

Sora walked Levi to his room, and to their surprise, Mina and Stefania were there.

"Wow. This looks amazing. Thank you," Levi said.

"This room is no longer yours and don't thank us yet," Mina said, with a smirk.

"I'm tired, Stefania I'm going to lay down in my room, would you like to join me? I haven't seen my sister and wanted to catch up."

"You're not going to lay down yet, help me out over here, please." Stefania said, with a giant smile.

Sora begrudgingly helped Stefania make the bed. He and Levi rode to MeadowSong and back on one night's rest, they were exhausted.

"Quit pouting, but thank you for your help now let's go to your room." Stefania said with a hug and kiss.

"Not pouting. Missed you. Tired. Missed you too sis."

They four left the room and headed for Sora and Mina's room, but Stefania said, "not your room Sora. Mina's room."

"What are you two up too? Everyone seems to know everything except Sora and I," Levi asked with a confused expression.

"Stefania and Sora will be married Oct 21st. We decided why waste rooms? If you'd like you can return to your old room," Mina said while opening the door, to two brand new beds, one King size and one full size.

"Or you can stay in my room with me. Your choice on where you sleep," Mina said with a blushed face.

Sora never saw her sister this girly, let alone seen her blush over a man. He was happy. The news about his wedding date practically went over his head.

"Be good to her bro," Sora said as he began walking towards Stefania's room.

"Wrong way, wait for me," Stefania said as she rushed out, closing the door.

"I guess I'll be staying with you, if that's ok?"

He felt things he hadn't felt in nearly a decade but this was different. This was new, something unexpected and he thought back to his first date with his late wife, which made him smile.

"Of course it's ok with me. Stefania's idea, we started this morning. I told her I didn't mind being alone and Sora needed to spend time with her. They're getting married next month, after all." Mina said while giving Levi a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Thanks for having me," Levi smiled and he turned to and stepped toward the full size mattress. Within two steps, he felt the same pull he felt the previous morning.

"Sleep with me. Never know when my eye might act up again," Mina lied, knowing the system ensured her blue eye wouldn't carry side effects anymore.

"Ok, I won't complain. By the way, you were born on March 28th, 1877. So I'm dating someone who is 24, correct?"

"Sora? Funny, I told Stefania to ask him. They both didn't have a clue. I guess elves don't celebrate birthdays. Who knew?"

"Yes, Sora. You wouldn't believe my birthday if I told you. I'm 28," Levi said.

"Try me."

"February 9th, 722."

"So Stefania was right about the goddess of Love," Mina thought before she spoke.

"So the day we arrived, you celebrated a birthday. Funny, don't you think? Chronos, the God of time sent us. We had three options and chose this one."

"Well, I'm glad you chose this one." Levi said, kissing her on the forehead.

"I'm sorry but I'm exhausted, can we please get some sl…"

Mina kissed Levi, something she never did before, in either life, and he kissed her back. He pulled away and smiled.

"Goodnight Levi, sleep well."

"You too Mina. Thank you for everything. It will be easy getting used to this."

Stefania grabbed Sora's hand and asked him what he thought.

"I think I'm marrying the most kind, selfless, beautiful being to ever exist and I can't wait for next month. I'm also happy my sister has you as a sister and best friend, all these great friends who welcomed us and now Levi. Our first life, well, after our parents passed it was just the two of us and a mission to end the demon King's tirade. Funny how fate works, I wanted to be a dragon but Mina said that'd be stupid without knowing magic." Sora said and gently pressed his lips against hers.

"What do you mean a dragon?"

"One of the three choices given to us. I'm glad we chose this one."

"What was the other option?"

"Some human related quest for an antidote or something."

"I see. Well I'm glad you chose this one too!" Stefania said as she walked them to their new room.

"I haven't seen it yet, this one was done by my parents."

"Remind me to thank them."

They both opened the door, and were amazed at how beautiful their room was. It wasn't a room, it was an apartment.

Stefania had a walk-in closest, the walls were decorated with the Fang family crest on white walls. There were two bathrooms, one with a bath, one with a shower, both embedded with magic to heat the water. Sora and Mina had a small shower in their old room, but this one heated up right away.

"To our son in law and daughter. Please enjoy your new room. Also, please invite Mina and Levi to our weekly Friday dinners. Love, Mom and Dad."

Stefania teared up reading the note, and Sora picked her up and carried her to their new bedroom and gently placed her on the new bed.

"I love you Stefania. I will take your last name when we marry."

"Are you sure?"

"I learned elves don't celebrate birthdays. Mines March 28th, 1876. When is yours?"

"April 2nd, 729. I'm marrying someone over 1100 years older than me!" Stefania joked.

Sora laughed and said, "you remember the vision about our son being born, right?"

"How could I forget? Oh, goodness it's on your birthday!"

"And four days before yours. I don't think that's a coincidence seeing as the god of Time sent us."

"You're right… it can't be. Also, let's speak with my parents about the last name. In the wedding preparations, I prepared to take your last name Mr. Hart."

"So that's why you rushed us out! Xavier gave some of it away and said it was common knowledge but Levi and I told him Stefania didn't tell me and he apologized. Can you believe we got him to laugh and loosen up?"

"I'll believe it when I see it, goodnight Sora, I love you."

"I love you too."

In the middle of the night, Levi woke up to Mina tossing and turning, blue eye illuminated. He held her closely, said a prayer to the god of Creation and goddess of Love, and Mina smiled when she came around.

"Thank you, I could feel your presence and hear you. You're very sweet."

"Oh, I didn't think you could hear me."

"Well at least I know you don't want to lose me," Mina said with a smile.

"What was the vision?"

"In four months, on January 6, 751, Hanzo and Rina have a baby boy.

In 6 months Jax and Eva will have a baby girl, on March 14th."

We completely destroy Fox Valley with Xavier's Fang of Fate bow and arrow but Sora's illusion magic tricks them into thinking thousands of elves fell for the trap.

Sora and Stefania happily get married.

Two weeks after their honeymoon, we go to battle with the Kingdom of Evergreen in an attempt to take back the Kingdom. This will be the first time humans face an army of humans and elves. All of us make it out safely, but someone on the council will not. Many elves will be lost. A person makes a noble sacrifice to ensure we win a losing battle.

Mina teared up and wouldn't reveal the name of the person, nor would she warn them. She didn't want to disrupt the flow of time and make the outcome far worse.

"Most of that is good news? I sense you're leaving the part about you and I out?"

With a blushed face, Mina asked, "how do you know?"

"You sometimes talk during your visions. I tried to tune it out but I heard my name so…"

"Do you want me to ruin it for you or do you want life to play itself out?"

"I could use some hope in my life."

Mina kissed him again and said, "we get married a week before Stefania's son is born."

Levi kissed her back and thanked her for telling him.

She hid the fact that they too would have a child, around 8 months after their wedding day.

"I'm glad only I saw a glimpse of me losing my virginity, I would rather experience it but I can't complain. Just why the hell do I have to get pregnant right away?" Mina thought as she drifted off to sleep.

Levi smiled as Mina fell fast asleep, while latching onto his arm.

"I love and miss you, and I hope you two are at peace and ok with this. I'll never forget you and will ensure nothing like that ever happens again." Levi silently prayed to his deceased wife and child.

In the after-life, the two of them appeared in Levi's dream.

"Be happy, my love. I'm glad you found someone kind hearted. Stop blaming yourself. We are at peace with the father of Creation."

"Be strong Dada! Say hi to Papa!"

Mina woke up to Levi crying in his sleep. She quickly woke him up.

"Everything ok?"

"My wife and child appeared in my dream and told me to be happy, stop blaming myself, and they were glad I found someone kind hearted. They said they were at peace with the father of Creation. My child told me to say hi to Papa," Levi said with a faint smile.

Mina's blue eye illuminated and quickly turned back to normal.

"That wasn't just a dream, it's true, I just saw it," Mina said while giving Levi a big hug.

"I'll have to tell my Father [King Lance] when I see him again," Levi thought until he finally fell asleep, with Mina's arms wrapped around his left arm, her head on his shoulder and the pillow.
