Just as I expected," I said as I was closely looking at the stone through a Microscope.
"Huh, what did you find out," Pazzo asked as he was helping Roby work on the sleigh in the Kitchen, I know I gave them permission to use the kitchen for their sleigh but the only reason I had said that is because I had doubted, they could get it past the door.
"That the robots somehow managed to perfectly fill in the cracks of the Emerald with some type of blue liquid that dried up and is still remaining in the cracks," I explained while bringing the emerald up from the microscope to look at it in my hand.
"Okay, so what do you want with it," Pazzo asked as he handed Roby a screwdriver.
"I want to see if it is what I think it is," I said while putting the emerald down then reaching in the dresser and pulling out a blow torch.
"Escalate," I yelled out.
"Ready for instruction's," Escalate said while standing next to wall.
"Could you grab the pair of tongs and hold the Emerald out over this bowl," I said while pointing at the tongs next to him on a dresser. I go to grab some protective gloves just in case then grabbed the blow torch and looked at the Emerald that has not been picked up yet. I looked over at Escalate who was still next to wall not moving an inch, I then pointed at the tongs thinking that he just didn't know where the tongs were, but he still did not move even after I pointed.
"Escalate," I said again.
"Ready for Instruction's," Escalate repeated.
"Could grab the tongs on the dresser and hold up the emerald over this bowl with them," I asked again while pointing st the bowl on the experiment table, Escalate still didn't move from that spot.
"Am I not saying it loud enough or something," I said out loud.
"That robot doesn't have a soul or can make choices for itself, which means you're going to have to command him, not ask him," Pazzo said while flinching due to Roby accidently drilling his hand. I looked back at Roby who still did not move and took a deep breath in, this is going to get annoying real fast.
"Escalate, Grab the tongs on the shelf right beside you, come over to this area, grab the Emerald using the tongs and hold the emerald over the bowl on this table," I told Escalate. After I said that, Escalate finally moved to grab the tongs, then proceeded to use the tongs to hold the emerald over the bowl on the experiment table.
"Am I going to have to do this every time," I asked Pazzo as I put some protective goggles on over my mask and began to blow torch the Emerald.
"Yeah, but if you don't want to do that every time try doing what I did to Roby 5 years ago," Pazzo yelled over to me.
"And what was that," I yelled while watching the Emerald drip off the blue substance.
"Continue asking him personal question, as you continue to ask him his opinion, he will slowly begin to gain one," Pazzo explained while patting Roby on the shoulder.
"What happens if he turns on me,"
"Are you going to treat him horribly"
"No, I mean, I wasn't planning to"
"Then there is nothing to worry about is it," Pazzo said while reaching down in the sleigh to continue helping Roby fix it.
"What are you two even doing to the sleigh," I asked while getting almost done pouring all the blue substance off the Emerald and into the Bowl.
"I have no Idea; all I know is that the item that Master Abel through in the Sleigh is a very important piece of machinery that Roby couldn't wait to install into this thing," Pazzo explained with a confused look. I completely forgot about Abel tossing something in the sleigh before he left, also were that rat.
"Abel handed you guys D tier plasma charged engine battery," The rat king explained as he was eating some soft taco shells that he raided from my pantry.
"Oh, so that's why he's working nonstop on the engine," Pazzo said while reaching down the sleigh again to help Roby.
"Why are you here, or better yet why are with us at the moment, doesn't seem like you have to be here, or you were in need of help," I asked the rat.
"A deal was made, so now I'm your informant on almost all things in my endless records," The rat said while taking another bite out of the taco.
"I didn't make a deal with you, I would've remembered if I did," I explained while being almost finished pouring all the blue off the emerald and into the bowl.
"I didn't either, there was no one else in that trash hole but me and Roby for the last 7 years, there wasn't even any rats down there somehow," Pazzo said while looking back at the rat.
"The Deal was made before you fell into that underground trash hole, you just asked me to come here now once Abel blown up the ceiling of that trash hole before I came down to see you," The rat explained as he was about to take another bite. But before he could take another bite Pazzo pounced right Infront him, interrupting his bite into the taco.
"I talked to you before I fell into the trash hole, what was I like, who was I with, what did I look like, why did make the deal I was only 5 years old," Pazzo said as he began to bombard the rat with a million questions.
"You'll find out in due time, cause if I tell you know you wouldn't understand, and it was also part of the deal as well," The Rat explained as he put his small hands on Pazzo's face to get him to stop talking.
"Wait what, just tell me, what was the condition of the deal," Pazzo began but the put his hands back on his face.
"You'll find out in due time," The rat repeated as he reached back down to get back his taco shell. Pazzo was going to ask again, but he stopped himself knowing that he wasn't going to get anything out of the rat anytime soon.
"Be careful with that acid you're pouring into that bowl," The rat said in my direction.
"Wait this is acid," I asked while examining the blue liquid, it didn't seem like acid due to the bowl not melting.
"Yes, it is, it's an acid that isn't active yet due the acid being turned into a paste like state feeling in the cracks of that emerald," The rat explained.
"That doesn't make any sense, the only acid that's able to turn into a dry wax like state is the -," I began but before I could finish the rat finished my sentence.
"The black sea snail," The rat king said while letting out a small chuckle. As soon as he said that I immediately to the microscope to examine the blue like liquid, I already had a guess on what it was I just needed conformation.
15 minutes later
"I finally found it, the final element to my grand mixture," I said with a loud laugh that made the entire room echo. The laugh must have sounded maniacal as all get out because Pazzo gave me a look of concern.
"Um, are you going to try to take over the world with mixture or something," Pazzo asked as had his back against the sleigh that they just got done fixing, that didn't take long.
"What, no, well.... if something like this leads to that, well I'm not going to complain," I said while heading to my dresser. I then reached in my pocket and grabbed a silver key, Then I inserted the key into the big lock that was on the bottom drawer. What was in the drawer was the numerous ingrediencies for the mixture and the recipe I written down to follow.
"Pazzo, could you read this out to me as I check if I'm missing any of the recipes," I asked Pazzo as I handed him the recipe, I didn't hand him the actual formula, the paper I handed to him was actually an ingredient to a random mixture, I just wanted to test if I could actually trust him.
"Alright, so the first step is 3 tupppssstsss of Picric Acid, 2 oonst of butane, and 6 miiil of battery acid-" Pazzo said, but before he could finish, I burst out laughing I laughed so hard that I started crying, coughing, and choking all at the same time, so much so that fell flat on my back trying to regain my breath.
"I'm, I'm not laughing at you, it's just how you read that list," I explained as I struggled to get up due to how hard I was laughing.
"Wait, so this isn't code," Pazzo asked as he raised the paper to his face to get a closer look.
"No, it's.... don't worry about it, this was just a test," I said while grabbing the paper from his hands and putting it back in the cabinet. I then began to bring out all the ingredients from the dresser then put it on the experiment table, I then finally looked back Pazzo with a smile on my face even though he wouldn't be able to see it through the mask.
"What are opinions on a portal's," I asked Pazzo as I turned back towards and began the experiment, when then began to talk about the experiment for hours on end, we even played on my xstation until dawn due to how good the conversation was going, It honestly felt nice to have a conversation with someone your age, I guess I've spent so long away from people to relies that.
