Chapter 37 - Disciple Cultivation System ch37 Days before the rough week pt2.

Art having made his way back to the city was on his way to his apartment when his phone in his pocket vibrated.

"Could it be mom?"

With the exception of the teacher's group chat, the only other person he got messages from was his mother outside the city.

She made it a daily occurrence to text him to always check up on him. She was a very dotting woman but he had gone use to it so this days he always read her message with a smile of his own.

Someone worrying about him was a pleasure so he didn't mind as long as she didn't start asking about his romantic life, which was probably already sabotage from the get go.

Having Trish around had already killed of all his potential romantic interest. For his own safety and other, he had denounced himself of worldy pleasures and at the end of the year will be visiting a religious temple to the far east to complete his official ceremony as a monk.

He will keep his beautiful hair ofcourse but he was a bachelor from now to he died.

"Yandere's aren't as cool as I thought!"

With a pragmatic sigh, he retrieved his phone from his pocket soon knitting his eyes in surprise as he saw the sender.

[Grim:Can we meet up.]

Leaning against a nearby building, his eyes widened wondering if spring has came this early for him.

"Am I in my popular phrase."

Quickly stripping of the future of him being a monk with hair, he typed "okay".

Making it as casual as possible to not appear needy.

[Grim: That's great. I'll send you the location right now.]

Resisting the urge to burst into a smile, he approached his apartment, quickly freshened up to appear more pleasing to the eye.

------------

"Okay Art be more logical, there no way she'll be interested in you."

Stepping out the steaming shower with a towel wrapped to his waist and his wet blonde hair sticking to his face, he mused.

While the original visual novel did have harem elements, Grim was unfortunately not a love interest.

As a character she was fairly popular with numerous fanarts created around her but her role in the story wasn't to be loved but that of a antagonist.

Just like Villier she took was destined to died opposing Valarie so he should have been planing around how to eliminate her but...

"I'm willing to gave Villier a chance. The same way I have prevent her demise."

Not all villains are born, some are made.

If he can offset the procedure that could create those future villains, then not only will he reduced many conflicts and keep the students safe but he will also prevent so many unnecessary deaths.

"By the way Grim herself isn't even interested in romance, I'm just getting ahead of myself."

Sure he was really handsome in this world but that wasn't enough to catch the heart of that assassin. It will take more than a pretty face with unfortunately was the only thing he had going for him.

After a while of cringing about how unnecessary his thoughts had been, he putted on a causal white shirt with dark pants, then tieing the ends of his lengthy hair with a black rubber band, quickly left after wearing a pair of white letters sneaker.

Skipping down the stairs he soon arrived at the receptionist hall were he passed of his apartment keys to the pretty receptionist and signed out before stepping out into the bustling streets.

Today was a weekend and the preceding days was the rank games hence most student didn't have academicies to look forward to.

Some were either busy training to ace the games or just relaxing home but even the majority were out enjoying the chilling saturday experience.

Restaurant were over packed and parks bustling with activities as for clubs that was for the evening to decide.

"Finally arrived."

His meeting place with Grim was a mere twenty minutes trip from his apartment. It could have taken a few minutes had he ranned and even fewer had he used aura but he didn't want to appear needy so he delayed a bit.

"She should be inside."

Taking in a few deep breaths, he muttered pushing the glass door open as the cold breeze of the a/c brushed passed his body.

Echoces of soothing jazz rang in his ears as he looked around for Grim.

Finding her was relatively easy because of her green hair and as he walked over to her, he saw a familiar individual sitting across her.

The individual with bountiful white hair was Valarie, her sharp grey eyes falling on him soon shrieking into panicked as she tapped Grim hands to inform her of his arrival.

"Hey!"

Taking the seat beside Grim, he greeted with a smile.

"Hi."

Grabbing her cheeks, she leaned on her knuckles with a blissful expression.

"Are you injuries okay?"

"It's been a week now ofcourse it's okay."

A week and a few days since his fight with Grim.

She broke a lot of things on his body when the fought and from them on, she had dedicated the past week always asking about his conditions.

Ofcourse he wasn't complaining or anything.

"That's great to hear." She smiled passing him a chocolate bar she took from her hand bag.

"Thank."

Receiving it, he sighed tearing of the wrapper and breaking the bar into two.

"Here." He passed one side to Grim which she received in delight but she didn't eat it as she playful feed it to Art.

Watching the scene with a deadpan expression, Valarie growing fed up by the continuous flirting by the so called adults gritted her teeths in annoyance mostly at Art.

Her school life was ruined because of that man, Trish spent most of the school hours stalking her for just for the sheer possibility of her making contact with a certain teacher.

She had tried her best to not do that and now all her effort had gone to waste.

She was annoyed and full of panic as she soon nervously looked around searching for any trace of Trish.

One's she hadn't seen any trace of her,she held her chest in relief which soon grew back into annoyance as she looked up and saw them still flirting.

"..... professor I thought you ordered a therapist not a model."
