Beasts/animal people they are a race that also inhabits this world, their form is a combination of humans and animals so their nature is definitely very wild and savage although there are some that are quite friendly. Well, it depends on the type of animal itself.
And if you think that they look like what is depicted in most anime and comics? Of course you are wrong, their form is more like a mutant, for example the snake man who welcomed Master Sage.
It may have a human-like body but it has green scales all over its body, it also has a long neck and a snake head that keeps sticking out its tongue, on the other hand it also has a very long tail. It was so long that it had to wrap its tail around its body.
"Master? Is there a problem?" he said with a slight hiss.
The master sage shook his head to refocus. "oh... ehem!... sorry, I'm just surprised because it's rare that there are shops that also employ you"
"no problem sir... let me guide you" said the half-snake human servant.
Master Sage just nodded and followed the servant, if not for the saura Master Sage would not have known that the servant was a woman. Well, some of these races are a little difficult to distinguish if not from sound or other characteristics. (You're not the same if you can't tell the sex of an animal except by certain features of their body)
"Do you want to find something? Or sell something?" said the snake man servant.
Master Sage looked around and replied, "there is nothing interesting here, so I just want to sell something"
The waiter immediately took Master Sage to a receptionist at the center end of the room, "please forgive the shortage in our shop, you can sell something here please..."
After saluting the waiter immediately left Master Sage at the reception desk to serve other customers, meanwhile Master Sage took out a medallion with a piggy bank and gave the medallion to the receptionist.
"hm... this place has hardly changed, but the staff and residents have changed a lot" said Master Sage.
The receptionist in front of him just smiled professionally and bowed, "sorry for the inconvenience but as the owner of the medallion you certainly know how this shop works"
"yes... I understand...." said Master Sage as he took out a pile of high quality mana stones / mana crystals, so much that the pile was even as tall as his hunched body. "...I want to sell all of these, and I want to see something that can translate any language"
When Master Sage took out so many mana stones/crystals all the customers in the shop or whatever it was called immediately looked at Master Sage with a gaze full of interest, some even already holding their weapons with eyes full of greed.
But Master Sage did not care about the people around him, he still remained calm even though the air in the room had become tense.
But on the other hand, the receptionist came out without anyone noticing and even held the two stone fragments that Master Sage took out, "hm! no disappointment....please head to the second floor Master to wait for your mana stone and crystal count, and we'll bring you the items you requested... SERVANT!"
When the receptionist called for the waiter, a wrenching aura also spread out making everyone freeze even Master Sage was not spared from the aura.
But either because they were used to it or it didn't have any effect, the waiters were still working as usual as if nothing had happened.
A servant came up to Master Sage and saluted waking Master Sage up from the previous incident, "come sir, I'll take you"
"oh, yes.. ehem! Good"
The two of them immediately left the first floor and went up to the second floor, different from the first floor which had many shelves of goods and was filled with visitors passing by, on this second floor it was almost the same as the first floor but there were fewer visitors and provided sofas in several different places and served by a servant personally.
Master Sage was led to an empty sofa and treated to some snacks while waiting to be served, Master Sage still wore his hood to disguise himself as minimally as possible. It was normal for a wizard to wear such clothes.
"Sir, these are the items you wanted...." a servant said as he placed a tray with three different items on it.
Master Sage looked at the three objects presented in front of him, they were; a scroll of paper, a pair of glasses with only one lens, and a necklace with a mouth-shaped pendant.
"Can these things translate all languages? Even animal languages?" said the Master Sage while observing the 1-lens glasses.
The servant beside him bowed, "yes sir, but for animals if they have their own language then you can do it... but for the glasses it is only limited to reading and for the necklace it is only limited to pronunciation, I suggest having the magic scroll even though it is disposable but all languages and writings you can learn easily"
Master Sage nodded he took the three objects and put them under his cloak, "I took all of them, and what about my mana stones and crystals? Use them to pay for the objects I bought, if you don't have enough just say so!"
The servant bowed then turned around and to get a magic scroll and opened it, "it takes half of the sales of your mana stones and crystals master, is there anything else?"
The Master Sage shook his head, "no, and this is for you!"
The Master Sage threw a hand-sized mana stone and pulled out a magic paper that floated and caught fire, the magic paper immediately caught fire and the flames also struck the Master Sage.
In less than 1 second the fire grew and burned the Master Sage's entire body, but instead of being charred or turned into ashes the master sage's body disappeared along with the fire that burned his body.
The incident attracted the attention of a visitor who was sitting nearby, "hm? That fire magic ... Master sage?, hehehe .. it turns out he's here too"
"sir this is your order sword" said one of the waiters who diverted his attention.

Meanwhile, on the other side.
"wow... this place is beautiful isn't it Rocky?" said a girl sitting on Rocky's shoulder.
"Kyak...kyak!"/ "amazing!" replies Rocky.
Now a golem and carrying a girl in an oversized robe on his shoulders stared at the end of the hallway that had led them to a place.
A place where the floor is a flower bed of various shapes and colors like a collection of fragrant twinkling stars, in the middle there is a lake or puddle whose water is like sparkling diamonds.
The most striking thing about the place was a leafless tree that towered over the lake, a tree that had roots that supported a single sturdy trunk. Its branches are not in the form of lush foliage but only trunks that spread across the ceiling, walls and even the floor, blocking the growth of stalagmites and stalactites throughout the room forming a perfectly round dome like a crystal ball decoration.
Not only that, the tree also glowed a greenish-yellow light that added to the natural beauty that would hypnotize anyone who saw it.
This also included Lylah who immediately descended and ran to and fro with a wide smile that continued to adorn her face.
On the other hand, Rocky also felt a calmness that he had never felt before, whether because of the atmosphere or indeed something else that made him relax. But none of that made him lower his guard.
His responsibility to protect the girl who was not even 10 years old made him stay alert whenever he was needed.
Until. "Rocky!... look there's something strange over there!" said Lylah who was now silent staring at the main tree trunk.
Rocky of course immediately approached, he looked at Lylah whose head looked up staring at the direction in front of him.
Rocky looked in the same direction "DEG!" instantly his instincts warned him of impending danger.
How could it not be, they now met a human-shaped Golem made of wood and soil equipped with gloves and iron shoes that gave off a terrible aura, he was crucified right in the middle of a tree with nails stuck in both hands and a spear stuck in his chest.
Rocky immediately picked up Lylah, planning to run towards the alley he had previously entered.
But unfortunately when he turned around, the passage had been covered with a stone wall. Rocky punched the wall until his hand was destroyed, but unfortunately his efforts were in vain because he couldn't even make a scratch on the wall.
"DANg!....boom!" Things got worse when there was the sound of metal breaking, when Rocky turned around he could see that the golem figure was now standing with wide legs supporting its body with dangling hands and a body that was still bowed down.
"Glek... Rocky we got a problem huh?" Lylah said innocently, and of course the remark was replied with a jab on Lylah's forehead.
