The boys - Dion, Takashi and Kohta - all stood still within the master bedroom. They listened attentively to the euphonious hums and pleasant discourses coming from right across the hallway, from the bathroom where all the girls were cleaning themselves off of all the fatigue and gore they had accumulated thus far.
Dion stood closest to the door with the side of his head resting against it's wood, faintly nodding and humming with a slight smile and closed eyes - he had deprived himself of the useless sense of sight to prioritize his hearing. Something he was grateful for because just as they had arrived in the room after staying downstairs for a while, he caught a rather pleasant sounding squeal from one of the girls.
Meanwhile, Takashi was giving him a nervous and faintly shocked glance.
Tsubakihara-kun never struck him as a such an unashamed pervert before after all. Such a thought constantly reiterated itself in his mind.
Then, another loud moan of a yelp resounded through the top floor and he and Kohta blushed even more.
"Sounds like they're having fun," Takashi muttered.
"Wanna peek in on them and make sure?" Kohta almost snickered his words out with a grin.
"I don't want to die yet," Takashi immediately said firmly, masking his disappointment.
Dion glanced back to Kohta, removing his head from the door and an identical glimmer shone through their eyes. A tactic understanding. And they both grinned.
"Huh...? No wait wait wait wait!" Takashi stepped between them, gesturing his hands as if to stop them. "You guys can't be serious?! Not to mention Saya and Rei, Busujima-senpai will be enough to take us all down!"
"Speak for yourself."
Dion's grin only widened while Kohta recoiled back into reality briefly. Only briefly though, as his eyes gained the same glimmer again at Dion's words.
"That's simply a skill issue," Dion said flatly, as if he couldn't believe that Takashi wouldn't want to join them, "Otherwise, you would be willing to join our conquest, right?"
Takashi gave his convincing look a long glance, gulping as he imagined what could be waiting for them behind those doors. Then he was beaten back to reality by the thought of being on the recieving end of one of Saeko's bokken swings and he shivered.
"You've seen my skills. Saeko won't be a problem. Not even the others," Dion walked up to them, hanging his arm over Takashi's shoulder giving him and intense glance then looking over to Kohta - this was when the you man's eyes regained their desirous glimmer, "In the name of conquest, I will protect you young soldiers."
"Conquest~" Kohta fantasized and the words came dribbling out of his mouth with a strange firmness to their delicacy.
Takashi gulped meeting the firm of Dion's gaze with nervousness.
Therein, he was struck by realisation, remembering Dion's actions from earlier in the day, then the way he fought just now when they were clearing up the place. A silent shiver spiralled down his spine.
Compared to Dion who fought with the same intensity and fluidity as Busujima-senpai, he was nothing more than a floundering idiot really. He thought.
The air seemed to weigh down on him and his expression fell a little downcast and shadowed by his hair. Kohta and Dion were nudged out of their pleasant revelries, eyeing him with concern.
"I was just joking, you know?" Dion said, nudging him slighty, "I wasn't actually going to peek, I'm a gentleman."
"Thats...not it," Takashi said, then he took a breath and gave Dion a nervous look, "I was just wondering...how did you become so strong? And who are you? Like...you seem pretty close to Busujima-senpai and Marikawa-sensei but..."
Dion's brow raised, giving him a shocked glance. Therein, he moved and chuckled, taking himself to sit over the bed.
"Come to think of it, I've never seen you in the school before," Kohta muttered, rubbing his chin in contemplation, "Then all of a sudden, today of all days you show up. I even heard the rumours during lunchtime of the 'handsome tall hunk foreigner' who had come to school. That was you, right?"
Dion chuckled even more at the rumours, leaving them in silent confusion as they glanced at each other wondering if they were overstepping to bring up such a topic. After all, they had only just met and regardless of his circumstances, he was a big part of the reason they survived and he was a pretty nice guy if you discounted the...scarier stuff he had done. But the again, they had done similar atrocities in the name of survival.
"My bad," Dion eased himself with a wave at them, "I guess a proper introduction is long overdue."
Here, they began paying proper attention.
"I used to be a student at Fujimi High just over a year ago. For two years I was there so I should be a Third Year right now, but I had to drop out for personal reasons," Dion explained as he laid his palms over the bed by his sides, "I came back there today because I happened to be back in the city; I meant to just visit old friends."
The two boys dawned into realisation then, even more so as he raised one of his hands, folding in all his fingers then raising one of them as if to count and continued:
"Saeko and I had been in the same class since we started at the school. We were the President and Vice-president of the Kendo club respectively through that time as well, although, it was more of an honourary title than anything for me since I spent more time in the Music Club than there. Much to her dissatisfaction might I add," Dion spoke with an amused confidence, even faintly chuckling through his reminiscences.
Meanwhile, Takashi seemed to become a slight bit dejected, none of them knowing what he was thinking in those moments.
Dion soon continued with a faint smile:
"As for Shizuka…she doesn't seem to remember me I guess, but I used to get hurt a lot. I was with her often to get all kinds of cuts, scrapes and bruises patched up because I didn't quite like regular doctors even for worse injuriesy. Especially for the stuff that wasn't too serious,"
Kohta's eyes almost seemed to glimmer with a strange admiration here as he wondered how this seemingly unknown guy had spent time with two of their schools flowers.
While at the same time, Dion continued with his tone a little somber:
"She's such a cushy day-dreamer of a lady most of the time though so I'm not surprised that considering how much I've changed, she doesn't remember me. Besides, I was really just one of the many average students showing up every other day. Not to mention that I have been gone for over a whole year."
Here, to Kohta, it sounded more like Dion was convincing himself of what he was saying rather than telling them about his past school life.
"Where'd you go?" He asked curiously.
"Around the world looking for treasure," Dion answered through a brief chuckle.
Takashi and Hirano glanced at each other, wondering if he was being serious.
Meanwhile, Dion raised the third finger.
"As for how I'm so strong, I trained in martial arts and the like. Simple as that," Dion said. "And during my year disappearance, I grew much taller, became fitter and voila, here I am."
"Taller...?" Kohta's eyes glittered and he scurried to the table, grabbing a small notebook and a pen then whizzed back as he asked vividly, "How?"
Dion glanced at his eagerly awaiting expression. The young man seemed moments away from fuming steam of desire out of his nostrils, and so, he decided to give the guy what he wanted.
His arms folded and he gave him an earnest look:
"You only need..." Kohta's eyes glimmered more intensely as Dion firmly said, "Two generous sugar-mommies. An older woman - a sugar mommy - can be the solution to nearly all of the problems you have. Not to mention two of them,"
"Huh...?" Takashi's visage fell into dumbfounded stillness.
