Chapter 11 - riders

The silence following Da Vinci's flamboyant self-introduction lingered for a few seconds longer than expected. Both Ritsuka and Gudako stood motionless, expressions frozen in visible confusion.

Ritsuka:"Wait, but… Da Vinci was a guy, right? Like, the Renaissance guy?"

Gudako:"Yeah, wasn't he a bearded old genius… not a beautiful woman with perfect hair?"

Da Vinci giggled, twirling a strand of her radiant hair.

"Oh my sweet little Masters, must we cling to the past? This is my ideal form. After all, genius transcends gender. A true masterpiece is whatever the artist says it is~."

Just as she struck a confident pose, a strong, refined voice echoed from behind the group.

Belle Maya:"Enough with that nonsense. Focus on more important matters than the director of aesthetics."

Everyone turned to see Belle Maya, the head maid, arms crossed and gaze sharp.

"You two are to focus on survival and the mission. Debating Da Vinci's gender is a waste of breath."

Da Vinci pouted."Oof. Rude, but not wrong. I am on a different level, after all."

Amused and slightly humbled, she turned her gaze toward Airi, who was still peeking from behind Ritsuka. With a gentle smile, Da Vinci waved her hand.

Da Vinci:"Hello there, little one. Don't worry—your big sis Da Vinci is the very model of gentleness. Well, sometimes."

Airi blinked curiously but didn't step forward. She tightened her grip on Ritsuka's coat.

Belle glared at Da Vinci for saying big sis.

Olga:"Enough chatter. Is the system ready for summoning, Da Vinci?"

Da Vinci turned with a nod."Yes. I've created two Saint Quartz using what little resources we had, as you requested. Just enough for one attempt each. A small miracle, really."

Gudako:"Wait—what's a Saint Quartz?"

Da Vinci smirked proudly.

"Ah, my dear, allow me to educate you. Saint Quartz—or SQ for short—is a crystallized magical resource created from pure spiritual energy. We use them to perform summons. In Chaldea, we're slightly different from other systems. Our summoning circle is powered not just by the SQ—but also by the power of Mashu's shield, the Lord Chaldeas."

Ritsuka:"So the shield… is the anchor?"

Da Vinci nodded."Exactly. With the shield acting as a stabilizer and SQ providing the energy, we can reach out through the Throne of Heroes and call a Heroic Spirit to our side."

As the conversation continued, Olga turned solemn. She turned to her workers and spoke quietly, yet clearly.

Olga:"Before that… we must give peace to those we lost."

She looked toward the names displayed on the terminal—staff members, engineers, scientists, people who had called Chaldea home.

Olga:"I want a funeral prepared. Even if they're gone… they deserve rest. They served under me, and I will not let them be forgotten."

The remaining staff bowed their heads.

"Yes, Director."

With heavy hearts, they moved out to begin preparations in another room.

Meanwhile, Mashu stood quietly near the hallway, her expression distant.

Her mind echoed with a voice—firm, cold, and authoritative:

"Be pure for humanity, Mashu. Be pure for humanity, Mashu. Be pure for humanity…"

Over and over, the same command played like a broken loop, almost hypnotic.

Gudako walked over and gently shook her shoulder."Mashu? Are you okay?"

Mashu blinked out of her trance and turned with a practiced smile.

"I'm fine… Sorry. Just thinking."

Da Vinci:"Well then, time to brighten the mood! Let's head to the Summoning Chamber. It's time for our dear Masters to meet their very first Servants!"

With that, the group followed Da Vinci down the corridor, the glowing blue summoning lines ahead awaiting their touch—each step forward beginning a new chapter in their fate.

The corridor echoed with the sound of footsteps, the group walking with purpose and quiet tension. Olga, Belle, Romani, Da Vinci, and Mashu led the way—Chaldea's last leadership walking like a wall of resolve. Behind them, the younger trio—Gudako, Ritsuka Fujimaru, and Airi—moved like a small family, with Airi holding Ritsuka's hand and gudako hand tightly, eyes wide as they stepped deeper into the heart of Chaldea.

As they walked, Romani leaned close to Da Vinci, his usual cheerful tone replaced by grim seriousness.

Romani:"That betrayal… Lev's. Or rather, Mr. X. Even though he caused this, I can't shake the feeling he wasn't acting entirely against Chaldea."

Olga nodded quietly beside them.

"He knew too much. Too many systems, failsafes… He was one of us. But the way he turned and talked was …"

Da Vinci:"...He was never just a technician. He was our observer. Someone placed here to… watch us. Guide certain events, perhaps. But for whom?"

She narrowed her eyes.

"If he was working for someone else, then we're not just dealing with rogue individuals. There's likely an entire organization behind him—one that sees humanity's collapse as necessary."

The group fell into grim silence as the realization settled.

They arrived at a large metallic door etched with arcane circuits and technological locks. Romani moved to the console, running diagnostics on the summoning system.

Romani:"Everything's stable. Mana lines intact. System primed."

Da Vinci stepped to the terminal beside it and input a long code—one only she and Olga knew. The massive doors hissed open, revealing a shining white circular chamber with lines of magical script pulsing gently on the floor.

Da Vinci:"This is Chaldea's Summoning Chamber. Mashu—please place your shield in the center."

Mashu nodded and walked slowly into the circle, placing her shield in the center. The moment it touched the floor, the room lit with a faint blue aura, stabilizing the summoning field.

Belle stepped forward next, holding a sealed box containing two glowing Saint Quartz.

Belle:"From Da Vinci. One for each of you."

She handed them to Ritsuka and Gudako with a rare smile.

Olga:"Now… step into the circle. Place your Saint Quartz inside and speak. Ask a Heroic Spirit to come forth and join your cause."

Ritsuka stepped back."Ladies first."

Gudako raised a brow playfully.

"Why, how sweet~."

She stepped forward, looking nervous but determined. She placed the SQ into the circle, her hand trembling slightly.

Gudako:"Heroic Spirit from across time… come forth and lend me your strength! We need your courage!"

The circle began to glow—first bright, then brightening into a white light hue.

Romani:"A bright white light? That's… a very good signal!"

A blinding light filled the chamber. Everyone shielded their eyes as the summoning climaxed. When the glow faded, a woman stood there—strong, beautiful, and proud.

With her red hair, Roman armor, and commanding aura, she smiled softly at Gudako.

"My name is Boudica. Nice to meet you! Don't mind the formalities."

A Servant Contract had formed.

Gudako's eyes widened.

She turned to Mashu, Ritsuka, and Airi, stunned.

"A real… Servant. She's really here."

Olga smiled softly.

"You've succeeded."

Romani's screen blinked as data synced.

"Boudica, Queen of the Iceni. British resistance leader during the Roman occupation. She's recorded in the Throne of Heroes as a symbol of rebellion and strength."

Ritsuka stepped forward with Airi.

Gudako turned, grinning playfully.

"Let me introduce myself. I'm Gudako. And this is my husband Ritsuka and our daughter Airi~."

Ritsuka:"Wha—?! No! That's wrong!"

His face turned bright red.

"She's just teasing—seriously, it's not like that! This joke won't be good next time okay."

Boudica chuckled warmly.

"It's nice to see such… normal and heartfelt Masters. If you three are Chaldea's last hope… then I'll gladly fight beside you."

She looked down at Airi and offered a soft smile.

"And I'll protect you too, little one."

Airi smiled shyly and peeked out from behind Ritsuka.

The circle dimmed after Gudako's summon, and now all eyes turned to Ritsuka Fujimaru.

He took a deep breath, stepping forward with quiet resolve. Holding the Saint Quartz, he mimicked Gudako's words.

Ritsuka:"Heroic Spirit from across time... I ask you, lend me your strength. Come forth and stand beside me."

He placed the SQ into the center. The summoning circle pulsed—this time a soft golden light—bright and warm.

In a flash of ethereal light, the figure of a young man appeared. Slouched posture, somewhat disheveled armor, and a wooden sword slung behind him—he looked around awkwardly, then scratched his head.

Mandricardo:"Servant... I came to ya to answer your summon. I mean... I have arrived. Rider, Mandricardo."

He blinked at Ritsuka with nervous eyes.

"Well, I hope you treat me well… to some extent."

Ritsuka chuckled and extended his hand.

"I'm Ritsuka. Let's work together."

Mandricardo hesitated a moment, then took his hand with a soft smile.

Mandricardo (thinking): What a mess… I'm totally out of my league. But… this Master feels like a good person. Maybe I won't screw this up too badly.

Da Vinci walked up with a scanning device that glowed blue, waving it over Boudica and Mandricardo.

Da Vinci:"Scanning Saint Graph… stable. No threat readings. They're safe."

Olga crossed her arms."That makes two Rider-class summons. Why only Riders?"

Ritsuka smirked."Maybe because I'm secretly a Kamen Rider?"

Belle Maid replied instantly with her usual cold tone.

Belle:"Your joke isn't good."

Ritsuka winced."Ouch. That hurts."

Belle:"Deal with it."

Just then, Olga checked the time and turned to Belle.

Olga:"It's nearly lunchtime. Prepare something."

Belle sighed."It will take time. I'm the only reliable cook here."

Before she could walk away, Boudica raised her hand cheerfully.

Boudica:"I'd be happy to help. I know how to cook quite a bit!"

Gudako perked up."I'll join too! I want to grow closer to my new friend anyway."

As they walked off, Gudako explained the current situation to Boudica—Chaldea's fall, the singularities, and their goal to restore humanity. Boudica listened quietly, nodding with a warrior's calm.

Gudako:"Mashu, come with us! Let's have a proper girls' kitchen crew."

Mashu smiled shyly and followed them.

Meanwhile, Olga turned to Ritsuka and Mandricardo.

Olga:"You two, go help the coworkers for now. They're still recovering from the aftermath."

Ritsuka nodded, and before leaving, he gently placed Airi in Olga's care.

"Take care of her for me."

Olga looked down at Airi, then knelt and gave her a small bar.

"Here. Chocolate."

Romani blinked from across the room.

"Wait—that's my secret chocolate stash!"

Olga turned and kicked him lightly in the leg.

Olga:"Not anymore. It's Airi's stash now."

Romani winced and rubbed his leg.

"Owww... I can't win against her."

Da Vinci burst into laughter.

"Well, you are the weakest link when it comes to chocolate."

Airi nibbled on a piece and then smiled, offering one to Romani. He hesitated… then accepted it with a warm smile.

Romani:"Thanks, Airi. We're friends now, huh?"

A small creature leapt onto the bench beside them—Fou, wagging his tail and curling up peacefully next to Airi.

The mood in Chaldea felt lighter, even if just for a moment. From shadows and despair to laughter and new bonds…

The fight to reclaim humanity had just begun.

But they were no longer alone.

[End of Episode]

Note: I'm back my friends, my exams are over and I'm completed Fgo event on last day. And started OC4 in jp.

Anyway, I will write different types of Singularities with kamen rider villains with my imagination. Also only Latoria and Babylon singularity are same in this story. No change in them.

Originally I thought to summon a 5 star servant but no I removed it. And the reason I summoned Bondica because I know her story and she didn't got any justice in Fgo main Story. So I made her as big sis and supporter to Ritsuka and gudako instead and give her big responsibility.

Mandricardo is my personal choice because I relate to him very much and he is my favourite character in Fgo.
