Chapter 21 - MMMS 21

After Ryuuto finished introducing Caster to the Sajyou father and daughter, Morgan became part of the household.

There was still almost a month before the Holy Grail War would officially begin, and he quietly hoped they could get through this period of living together without any problems.

Manaka had welcomed Morgan warmly. Hiroki, however, behaved like a typical magus—avoiding unnecessary contact with Servants and essentially treating her as if she weren't there. In his eyes, Servants in the Holy Grail War probably seemed no different from the dove familiars in the garden.

Life in the Sajyou household continued at its relaxed pace after Morgan moved in. But there was one thing that caught his attention...

"She's a lovely child, isn't she?" he said quietly as he approached Morgan from behind.

Morgan was standing silently in front of the crystal door that led to the garden. Her slender figure, dressed in green, reminded him of a small palm tree—elegant and noble, yet somehow sensual. Her deep blue eyes were fixed on the youngest Sajyou child, who was busy watering the plants.

"That's Ayaka Sajyou, Manaka's younger sister. Unlike Manaka, she doesn't have any remarkable magical talent. It must be hard for her, having such a beautiful and talented sister who seems to excel at everything," he explained as he reached for the garden door handle.

"I'm going to spend some time with her. Would you like to come along?"

"I should stay here. If I went over there, I'd probably just scare her," Morgan replied before turning and walking away.

He watched her graceful figure as she left, a playful smile crossing his face. "How cute," he murmured.

Caster Morgan was the complete package as a Servant—exceptional in combat, support, reconnaissance, and intelligence. She excelled at everything, not to mention she was incredibly beautiful.

Her only drawback was that she couldn't dematerialize, which meant her presence was always noticeable. Day after day, the lady witch wore that luxurious black robe that exposed large areas of her pale skin, her slender yet curvy figure constantly on display throughout the Sajyou home. Thanks to Morgan's spell, Hiroki and Ayaka probably didn't notice anything unusual, but for Ryuuto, it was genuinely difficult to know where to look. It wasn't that he was too shy to appreciate Morgan's beauty—but staring too long would earn him disapproving glances from his mother and aunt.

Fortunately, Morgan herself seemed aware of this issue.

"Would you mind if we bought some new clothes?" she asked one morning when they were alone in the house.

"You're a woman, after all—I completely understand," he replied, reaching for his wallet with a pleased expression. "Since you're asking, of course it's no problem."

This request actually made him happy. Morgan was typically so independent that she rarely asked anyone for help. Money really is a wonderful thing, he thought to himself. He needed to speed up processing those illicit funds from the Matou family.

"Would 300,000 yen be enough?"

Morgan looked at Ryuuto as he proudly displayed several 10,000-yen bills, then shook her head.

"That's not what I meant. I've already taken care of the money. What I wanted to ask was—Master, if you have time today, would you be willing to come with me to choose some clothes?"

He paused, shifting his gaze from the variety show on TV to Morgan's face.

She's asking me to go shopping with her?

The word "date" floated into his mind.

They looked at each other in silence for a long moment, with only the canned laughter from the TV filling the living room.

"Would I actually be helpful?" he asked.

She nodded. "I'd like Master to give me his thoughts and suggestions," Morgan explained calmly. "But if you're busy..."

"Let's go," he said, immediately getting up from the sofa.

Twenty minutes later, Ryuuto was ready to leave. He wore casual clothes—a black sweater, gray down vest, and ripped jeans, with a red scarf that Manaka had knitted for him around his neck.

"Looking good," he mumbled to himself as he fixed his bangs in the mirror. "Are you a child actor? Or maybe a magazine model?"

Meanwhile, Morgan was still taking her time in her room. Since she was a woman getting ready to go out, he figured this was to be expected.

He sent her a mental message: "Caster, I'll wait for you by the door."

"Sorry for the delay. I'll be right there," she replied.

He sometimes found Morgan difficult to understand. Despite her world-class beauty, she always wore such elaborate makeup, which seemed unnecessary for someone with her features. And she already used a spell to keep people from staring at her, so who exactly was she wearing makeup for?

After Morgan's promise to "be right there," he ended up standing foolishly by the entrance for another 20 minutes before the lady of the hour finally made her appearance.

The black witch's robe clung to Morgan's body, with the fabric stretching across her full chest and hips, clearly outlining her curvy figure. Below the hem of her skirt, her long, pale thighs were visible, creating a striking impression. Her overall appearance combined sensuality with dignity, perfectly capturing Morgan's untouchable, enchanting, queen-like quality.

He felt slightly apologetic. Despite trying his best to notice, he couldn't see any difference from her usual appearance!

However, when Morgan approached him with an apologetic expression and that enchanting perfume she was wearing, any frustration he'd built up while waiting quickly melted away.

She looked away, twisting a strand of platinum blonde hair that fell over her shoulder between her fingers. "I'm sorry for keeping you waiting. It took me longer than expected."

"Don't worry about it," he replied smoothly. "I haven't been waiting long. I just got here myself."

Morgan stared at his face, blinked, and then—

"...Pfft, 'just got here'? It's not like we're meeting somewhere outside." She covered her mouth with the back of her hand as she laughed.

"Let's go."

"Yes, Master."

As they spoke, their hands somehow found each other.

Neither of them deliberately reached out first—it just happened naturally, almost by accident.

At first, it was only their fingertips barely touching.

Then, as if it were the most natural thing in the world, their fingers slowly intertwined.

Since it was a date, this felt right.

This was the pleasure of enjoying something sweeter than love itself—that delicious ambiguity between them.

Creeak.

The front door of the Sajyou house opened.

The boy and the witch quickly pulled their hands apart.

Because Ryuuto hadn't opened the door.

And neither had Morgan.

The person standing in the doorway was none other than Manaka Sajyou.
