Rishi fell to his knees, panting heavily from exhaustion.
"If you train like that, you will die within seconds against Agastya!" Aaryan told him.
"Agastya commands the blue energy. The moment it touches the red energy, it causes a nuclear explosion. It's impossible for ANYONE to face him in battle." Rishi uttered as he got back to his feet.
"Your eye, that I gifted you. It belonged to someone else who later lent it to X Graders. It allows energy manipulation with no restraints. You just need to absorb some blue energy and store it into that eye. It won't even touch the red energy inside you. Not just that, you can swap them out in battle. Use red energy when Agastya uses red, and blue when Agastya uses blue." Aaryan explained.
Rishi sighed and nodded. Then after some thought, he asked "Why me?"
Aaryan looked at Rishi, his eye narrowed "Because even Aditya acknowledged your superiority. Even he was not as powerful as you are at your current stage." Aaryan smiled at bit when he explained this.
Rishi nodded, his expression was serious and thoughtful. He thought about it for a second and asked "What if Agastya used both energies at once?"
Aaryan nodded and answered "I have called a specialist for that."
Rishi narrowed his eyes.
Two days later, Rishi came and sat down on the chair, moving it closer to the table after placing the plate on it. As he grabbed the fork and pushed it into the noodles, to catch them with it, he looked at the man sitting with them on the table.
"So, what was your name again?" Rishi asked, curiously.
"Manav! I am an expert in this field of warriors and werewolves, and, I have a nice experience of around more than 900 years." Manav spoke as he broke another piece from the tortilla on his plate.
Rishi's eyes widened. Aaryan looked at him and explained "Manav started out tracking the X Graders when it initially began. When he found out about X Graders's most dangerous creation ever, The Anomaly, he made it his life's goal to take The Anomaly Down!"
Manav quickly swallowed the bit he was chewing and explained further "After some research, I found out that there are three main kinds of energies. Red, Blue and Silver. Warriors carry the Red, Werewolves and other beasts carry Blue. Blue is basically natural energy. Silver is extremely rare, there are no known traces of it anywhere as of now. When Red and Blue collide, they react and form a different kind of energy which is highly unstable. Now, what The Anomaly did was.... he managed to wield that energy and that made him so extremely powerful that we may even call him the most powerful being on this planet right now."
"Even more powerful than the US President?" Rishi asked.
"Listen kid!" Manav chuckled and answered "The ripoff that Hades is selling to the world is a total joke. They modified the warrior gene, removed eternal life and the ability to grow more powerful and started selling it at an unfairly high price."
"What's the real thing then?" Rishi asked. Manav smirked and responded "You and I, we are the real things. You especially seem to exceptionally compatible to the warrior gene, making your growth much faster. Along with that, the blood eye that you carry! I am still a bit disappointed that you cannot hide it, but it's fine!"
Rishi just adjusted his aviator sunglasses which were doing more to protect his eye from attention, rather than sunlight. Manav continued "Anyway, back to The Anomaly! His exceptional command of the golden energy makes him truly immortal. He cannot be killed even if you rip out his heart. So the option is to send him to sleep, eternal sleep."
Rishi raised his eyebrows, his curiosity piqued "Eternal sleep?"
Aaryan answered "What I did to Aditya! It was Manav who helped me with it. Eternal sleep sends the target into a lifelong coma until they die. Since The Anomaly cannot be killed, he will spend the eternity in the total solitude. We just need a connection!"
"What's a connection?" Rishi asked.
"A connection is the person with whose life we connect the eternal sleep to. As long as that person is alive, the target stays asleep. Adyant was made the connection for Aditya because I thought no one would ever predict it. When I got Adyant killed, I expected Aditya to return. Just... not so soon!" Aaryan answered.
Rishi nodded gently.
Manav continued where Aaryan left off "We will have The Anomaly connected to a warrior and send him to eternal sleep. As long as the warrior is alive, The Anomaly will not return."
Rishi leaned back, asking "But who are we going to choose? I mean, I would have volunteered but I can be easily killed, just like literally every warrior in the world."
Manav smirked and nodded "Yes, that is true! So that is why I researched more on this. There was a way, to trap someone's life force into an object and keep it there eternally. Initially I thought I would use that on The Anomaly, but there are limits. The Anomaly's life force is so powerful that there is no object that could hold it, just because of its sheer size and density. So, I thought why not trap someone else into the object, then connect The Anomaly to that life force in that object, hide that object away somewhere, maybe throw it into the ocean or something."
Manav leaned back and panted, tired of speaking so much. Rishi was just staring at him in disbelief, his eyes were as wide as they can ever be.
