"Are you available tonight? Like, right now, I mean," Felix says.
I glance at my bag, where Theo's sketch folder rests. I need to continue the concept boards for the short film. I should be productive, should be working—but the thought alone feels heavy. I've been circling the same ideas all day. Nothing fits. Nothing feels right. Maybe I'm hitting a wall. Or maybe I'm just tired.
So I say no—I'm not busy.
Felix grins, like he expected that answer. "Then let's go somewhere."
I raise an eyebrow. "Where?"
"You'll see," he hums as he unlocks his car and swings the passenger door open for me.
"What a gentleman," I comment as I chuckle.
"Trust me, this is just a bare minimum."
