The strange thing was—Leo wasn't scared.

So what was there to be afraid of? And besides, the Sovereign had no reason to hurt him.
When they first met, Leo was nothing—just a lost soul with no power. Even then, the Sovereign had guided him.
Back then, Leo didn't trust him.
He thought there was something more behind the Sovereign's kindness.
Now?
He still didn't fully trust him—but it was different. He had seen more of the world. He had lived through enough to understand that not everything was black and white.
The things the Sovereign said or did—they weren't wrong. And they weren't against him either.
Leo had just been naive. Now, his perspective had widened. He was ready to listen. And he knew the Sovereign would speak.
After all, why else would he appear in the Blood Realm again?
"I just hope he doesn't go psycho and kill me," Leo muttered to himself.
