At that moment, footsteps echoed.
"This pirate fleet looks pretty impressive—must be at least a few dozen ships,"
Karina said with sparkling eyes as she looked out to sea, a sweet smile blossoming on her charming face, her voice just as pleasant and melodic as ever.
Perona floated in the air, giggling:
"But they won't be around for long. Every pirate that appears in front of us meets the same fate."
Belo Betty, exhaling smoke from her mouth, spoke calmly:
"This time, we're definitely getting bounties on our heads—no doubt about that."
"Yeah, last time we took out North Blue's overlord, Oliv, and nobody even knew about it,"
Sweetheart Queen nodded in agreement.
"This time's different though. With so many witnesses, the Navy will hear about this for sure."
"Honestly, I'm kind of excited,"
Reiju said gracefully while tucking her hair behind her ear.
"I wonder what our first bounty will be."
"If Chris doesn't make a move, the Navy won't know our true strength,"
"They'll probably assign random bounties—not high ones," she added with a soft smile.
Just then, Chris and the others walked over.
Burgess immediately burst into laughter and eagerly asked:
"Captain, what do you say? Should we start a fight?"
Doc Q, wearing a mysterious smile, murmured:
"Seems like luck's on our side again. Someone new will probably join us today."
Lafitte, watching the pirate fleet get closer, twirled his cane and politely said:
"They're loading cannons. The barrels are pointing down—they're getting ready to attack."
Chris, hands in his pockets, stopped walking and calmly said:
"Three minutes. Kill as many as you can."
Law nodded coldly:
"Thousands of them—we won't get them all. But no one on the main ship leaves alive."
Doc Q, with a sinister grin on his aged face, coughed and added:
"Even if we don't kill them all, I'll make sure it's a bloody good time."
"I'll poison them one by one. Let them taste my miasma."
Lafitte, cane spinning, smiled gently:
"Well then, let's begin."
What followed was a completely one-sided slaughter...
Inside the Baratie restaurant:
"Whoa! The two pirate crews are fighting!"
"That other crew—where did they even come from? The difference in strength is insane!"
"Krieg's crew is supposed to rule the East Blue—and look at them now! Dropping like flies!"
"This isn't a battle—it's a massacre!"
"No way these people are from the East Blue. They're way too strong!"
Patty, eyes wide in shock, stared at the battle on the Dreadnought Sabre.
"What kind of strength is this? It's terrifying. I'm about to pee myself!"
Carne shook his head with a sigh:
"That's it. Krieg's pirate crew is officially history."
Sanji, glancing at Zeff with worry, asked:
"Old man, if they come for us—what do we do?"
Zeff finally lost his cool and furrowed his brows:
"At that point, we'll have no choice but to beg for mercy. There's no other way."
"We can't fight these monsters."
Watching the situation unfold, Nami quickly changed her plan:
"Forget sneaking onto their ship. I'll sneak onto Krieg's instead—there's bound to be treasure left there."
"Yeah… that's way safer. Sounds like a plan," she thought silently.
At one of the windows, a man stared at the battlefield with excitement on his dark-skinned face.
He was ugly and rough-looking—but his eyes shone with admiration.
This was the man known as Demon Man Gin!
"Incredible! This is the kind of crew I've been dreaming of… I need to get on that ship!"
Gin, heart racing, made a silent vow:
No matter what, I will join the Chris Pirates.
Aboard the Dreadnought Sabre:
The battle was nearing its end.
Only two people remained on the main ship:
Don Krieg, and Pearl the Flame Shield.
"Who are you people?! What the hell are you?!"
Krieg yelled from the deck, secretly reaching for the pistol hidden at his waist.
Bang!
Burgess stomped on his head and sneered:
"You think you can pull a sneaky move? Pathetic garbage."
Lafitte, having finished off Pearl, smiled gently:
"Pirates from the East Blue are hopeless. No vision, no battle sense."
"We're just too strong,"Hawkins muttered darkly.
Doc Q withdrew his miasma and looked at the fleeing pirate ships with regret:
"These guys are really good at running away. No way to kill them all."
"I wanted to poison every single one of them… but they realized what was happening and fled immediately."
Law, carrying his cursed blade Kikoku, said coldly:
"The rest are just small fries. No combat power. Not worth chasing."
Back inside the Baratie:
Everyone was left dumbfounded by the scene outside.
"Don Krieg… is really gone? Just like that?"
"Terrifying… I didn't know pirates like that even existed."
"We're screwed—they're sailing this way! What do we do?! Aaaaah!"
"I don't want to die! I have an 80-year-old mother at home, and a baby who still needs milk! Waaaaah!"
Seeing the chaos among the customers, Patty gave up trying to calm anyone down and nervously asked:
"What now? Should we run?"
Carne, sweat pouring down his forehead, trembled with fear:
"I don't know, but we definitely can't fight them. We'll die for sure!"
"Cut the nonsense. Just go out and greet them properly,"
Zeff barked, already striding toward the entrance to give the Chris Pirates a grand welcome.
"If you're too scared, don't come,"
Sanji, hands in his pockets, cigarette in his mouth, followed him out without hesitation.
