Shanks' POV
The train ride home was quiet. Ur, Gray, and Lyon had made up their minds—they were joining the Guild.
Ur looked tired, resting her head against the window. Gray and Lyon sat across from her, fidgeting.
They were nervous.
They were still kids, after all.
…And before we knew it, we'd arrived at Magnolia Station.
"Woah!" Gray's face lit up.
"So this is… Magnolia?" Lyon added, pressing his face to the glass.
I raised an eyebrow, watching them. It wasn't like they'd never seen a town before, but their eyes sparkled like it was a whole new world.
"Hahaha," I chuckled. Beside me, Ur laughed softly.
"They're acting like they just stepped into a fairy tale."
"I mean, it is Fairy Tail," I replied with a smirk.
She gave me a tired smile. "You're not wrong."
"I'll be heading home," Laxus said abruptly as we stepped onto the platform.
I nodded. "Yeah. Catch you later."
He gave a short wave and disappeared into the crowd.
"Haaah~"
Gildarts stretched and yawned as we started walking. "Man, it feels good to be back."
"What's the Guild like?" Gray asked, trying to match Gildarts' stride.
"Do they have big missions?" Lyon chimed in.
"Do you think we'll get cool ranks right away?"
"Whoa, slow down," I said. "You haven't even walked through the door yet."
Gildarts grinned. "Better hope you're ready. We've got a guy who sneezes louder than your whole train ride."
"Is that true?" Gray asked, wide-eyed.
"Yup," Gildarts said. "And trust me—you don't wanna be holding a drink when he does."
Ur laughed again. I glanced at her legs—still made of ice.
"You thinking of getting a prosthetic soon?" I asked.
She nodded. "Yeah. It doesn't slow me down too much, but... it builds up."
"Let me know if you need help finding a good craftsman," I offered.
"Thanks," she said quietly. "I might take you up on that."
"Sure." I nodded and continued my walk.
And before we knew it we had arrived at the Guild.
I pushed the rather large door open. Everybody stared for a second before cheers echoed and as I had expected Cana ran towards us.
"Big bro! Dad!" Cana jumped on me while from the corner of my eyes I could see Lyon and Gray fidgeting around while Ur stood confident.
"Welcome back!"
I heard the screams and before I knew it I was swept away by everything.
"How was the Quest?"
Some asked me about the Job while others asked me about how was it.
"Oh! New faces~!"
Some focused on Ur, Gray and Lyon.
"Damn look at that Ice-leg. Talk about badass."
While...some just focused on Ur.
Gildarts had already gone to the bar, taking the new faces with him while I sat down with Cana.
"So, Big bro how was the Quest?"
I smiled at her excitement.
"It was pretty good. We had a huge battle but your big bro defeated it in the end."
I could see her eyes go wider before they had stars on them. "Woah!"
She exclaimed.
I grinned at her.
"Where are Macao and Wakaba?" I asked one of the guild members.
"They are on a Job. Escorting mission."
I nodded at him.
"Oi! Shanks. Come here."
I heard my old man's voice and nodded. Walking over to the bar.
"Shank! Look." Gray showed of his Mark. It seemed he had gotten it on chest and I looked at Lyon. He also seemed to have gotten the mark on his chest.
"Mine's here." Ur showed her arms with a grin.
I nodded. "That's cool."
"Welcome back, Shanks."
I looked at Clira.
"Yeah. Where is Master?" I asked referring to of course Makarov.
"He has gone off to a meeting."
I nodded at her words "Can you give me a drink? Put it on Oldman's name."
I pointed at Gildarts who simply shrugged it off. It was chump change to him.
Ur also ordered herself a drink while the kids got some juice and food.
And the eventful week ended.
…And before I knew it another year passed and I found myself face to face with...Hades aka Percht Gaebolg aka Fairy Tail's second Guild Master!
"Boy. Join me!"
He said.

A/N: Yeah let's start some real shit now and from now on will be the last arc till I time skip to canon. So this will be the the FIRST REAL ARC of this story.
