~ODETTE'S POV~
I was so embarrassed with him holding my hand as we walked around. All of the eyes looking at me.
Some curious, some frowned, some looked destained and venomous.
Especially the looks from the she-wolves. They looked like they all wanted to eat me alive.
Heat rushed to my cheeks, and he wouldn't let my hand go.
"Let me keep your hands warm, relax, we're only holding hands." He said in a low voice with a smirk.
His stupid smirk. The one that makes my heart race.
The snow was falling lightly, and looking around, despite all the wreckage, it was beautiful. Like a Winter Wonderland. Trees decorated with string lights and icicles. Pine trees coated in freshly fallen snow. A blanket of white rested on the ground. Footprints slowly being covered.
It was peaceful. The hustle and bustle of the main square was becoming more distant.
Where was he taking me?
We followed a winding path until we came across an orchard with green houses in the center.
