"You're scaring me, Edgar. I need to know where the crown prince is going, and why your guards are having a standoff with me," said Tobias.
The children were finally together, which was something to celebrate, so why was there so much tension outside?
Tobias walked with Edgar away from where the guards stood, still pointing their weapons at each other.
"I'm surprised that you will allow her to become queen. I thought nothing would convince you. Was it Alessandra?" Tobias asked, eager to hear the whole story.
"Penelope will not become your queen. Those two have run off to get married, so chasing them down will only disturb it," said Edgar.
Tobias frowned. "How could she marry him and not become queen? No!" He exclaimed, realising what had happened tonight. "Guards!"
