"I can't do it," Warren said, having no use for other work now.
"Weren't you the one speaking of needing money? Some people need to work for what they want. It won't be hard work for us. It is only a garden house to fix. It shouldn't take more than a day to do," said Noah.
"I don't need money, and I want to redefine myself in this town. My mother dreads everyone looking down on us. Think of how she will feel to have me continue to build homes. You should go by yourself," Warren said, having no interest in that work again.
Warren no longer wanted to be the son that his mother despised. He could be so much more, and with the money he got, his dreams would happen.
Noah didn't understand the sudden change. "It is not embarrassing work. There are plenty of well-sought-after men whose families take part in this business."
