The atmosphere in the room was quite awkward because for some reason Asher felt like his wife was avoiding him. He tried to contact her several times on the way to the office, but she didn't answer his phone. Meanwhile, when he arrived at the office, his wife was busy holding a meeting with her team even though this project was not that urgent. He was very sure that his wife had been hiding something since lunch time.
"Can I discuss a new project with you guys?"
Serena nodded enthusiastically. "Of course, you can sit next to me."
Asher immediately sat next to his wife. It felt like he wanted to whisper to his wife to ask all the questions on his mind, but the current situation didn't allow him to do so. The most important thing is that Serena still welcomes his arrival professionally.
"Mr Asher, what a coincidence you came to us. We wanted to ask your opinion," said Abigail.
