Serena really hoped that nothing would bother her today. All night she spent time with her husband talking about fun things while working in the office. Serena knew that Asher actually wanted to tell her what he did when he met Orlando, but Asher refused to talk about it because he was more concerned with comforting his wife.
However, this morning was not as beautiful as she imagined. When she opened her cellphone and saw several missed calls from her stepmother, Serena swallowed a little in fear as she put the cellphone in her briefcase.
She tried to act tough in front of her husband. She put on makeup with a cheerful facial expression even though her heart was actually very restless. The smile she is showing now is not a genuine smile.
"From today on, don't put on too much make-up!"
Hearing Asher's sudden threat, Serena immediately turned around, greeted by a handsome face appearing behind her, making her eyes widen.
