The woman she met now in a flower garden in her dream was her most beloved adoptive sister. Her body almost collapsed to the ground because it had been a long time since she saw Lariette like this. One year of her life was very empty before marrying Asher, of course she was very happy to be able to meet Lariette in his dreams. It felt like she wanted to tell Lariette everything because there were many things Lariette needed to know.
"Sister..." Serena sobbed as she walked slowly towards her sister's figure wearing a white dress.
Lariette smiled happily, spreading her arms. "It's been a long time since we saw each other, Serena."
Serena ran quickly then hugged Lariette's very warm body tightly. She let out a broken cry because she could no longer hold back the longing that was buried deep within her. Even though it wasn't real, her wish to meet Lariette again finally came true.
"I really missed you, Sister."
"Me too. But, all this time I could see you from up there."
