William had agreed verbally, but he looked down on Kevin's job from the bottom of his heart. He was just a lousy repairman; what was there to flaunt?
"Mom, don't be angry. He can't do anything to me anyway. There's some fruit in the fridge. I'll get it."
He said as he headed to the fridge, just in time to see Laura holding Luke and heading back to the bedroom.
He immediately called out to her, "The dishes on the table haven't been cleaned up yet. Where are you going? Clean them up before you leave."
She turned to look at him and said calmly, "Didn't you say we should settle everything clearly in the future? I paid for most of the gifts you bought last time and Luke's injury expenses, as well as the ingredients and fruits for today's dinner. We need to account for all of these.
