Chapter 68: Black Cat Saves Her Father! Intertwined Three-Colored Hair!

Felicia had no idea how alluring she looked at that moment.

She just felt… reborn.

It was as if boundless energy surged through her body, erasing every ache, every trace of fatigue. She felt light, powerful—different.

"I have ears on my head?" she muttered, her fingers reaching up to feel them. "Wait... even a tail?"

Feeling something unusual behind her, she scratched the restless tail absentmindedly.

Then, suddenly, she leaped—light as a feather—and landed gracefully atop the wardrobe.

"Li~ I've really become stronger!" Felicia exclaimed with joy.

But a second later, she instinctively stuck out her tongue and licked the back of her hand like a cat.

"Ugh… that's weird…"

Felicia quickly moved her hand away, resisting the odd feline urge. "I… I really have turned into a cat, haven't I?"

From below, Ethan Lee watched her, eyes full of admiration. "You're even cuter than a cat, Felicia."

"Really~?"

Felicia's fluffy cat ears twitched, picking up the sound of Ethan's slightly uneven breathing.

Turning to the mirror, she caught sight of her current appearance and immediately understood.

"Meow~ Master is so naughty~" she purred.

With a mischievous grin, she leapt down and wrapped her arms around Ethan. "Why did you turn me into this…?"

"But," she added with a sultry smile, her cat-like eyes shimmering, "I appreciate it."

"Before I go save my father, I want to properly thank my master~"

Ethan didn't resist. No man could.

"Walter Hardy has been transferred to our custody. Scorpion's been captured and is awaiting interrogation," Melinda reported to Hill.

"However, there's that spider girl—Cindy. She insists her codename is 'Spider Silk.' She's been… persistent."

Hill replied calmly, "If Cindy Moon didn't interfere with the rescue, don't confront her. Just bring Scorpion Kagan back and find out who's after the serum."

Da da da da—

Footsteps echoed sharply in the night.

"Who's there?" Melinda barked.

The SHIELD agents immediately raised their weapons, scanning the darkness.

"Hill, something's wrong," she said over the comms.

But then—silence.

Melinda and her team dropped one by one, collapsing to the ground unconscious.

Crack—!

The cage holding the prisoner was torn apart by sharp claws and brute strength.

"Dad, let's go!"

"Felicia? What happened to you!?"

"A lot happened. Let's just get out of here first!"

Several Days Later

"Ah—"

Ethan Lee slowly opened his eyes, the soft morning light filtering through the curtains. He stretched, refreshed, and lazily tugged the drapes aside.

In his arms, three heads nestled close together—black, golden, and silver hair tangled across the pillows.

Gwen.

Jessica.

And Felicia.

After secretly rescuing her father, Felicia had asked him to take her mother and leave the city.

But she herself chose to stay behind.

Rumors spread quickly online—that her parents had abandoned her. Many people expressed sympathy for the beautiful girl, while others with less innocent motives offered her a place to stay.

But in truth, Felicia had chosen to stay with Ethan Lee.

SHIELD, for all their efforts, walked away empty-handed.

Apparently, once Nick Fury learned that Kingpin was behind Walter Hardy's kidnapping, he unleashed all his fury on the man.

Now Kingpin was a shadow of himself, locked in a self-made prison, unlikely to crawl out anytime soon.

Cindy Moon? She recently chose to officially join the club.

Now publicly, the Ghost Spider Club included:

Ghost Spider – Gwen Stacy (identity: undisclosed)

Knight – Jessica Yeh (identity: public)

Black Cat – Felicia Hardy (identity: undisclosed)

Spider Silk – Cindy Moon (identity: public)

A team of four superheroines.

Their popularity exploded, drawing massive attention and a horde of fan members. Jessica, ever practical, happily collected the membership fees.

Thanks to Gwen and the others' star power, the club's fame had spread beyond New York, gaining nationwide buzz.

They dominated the female hero popularity rankings.

As for the male rankings—

Captain America remained at the top, followed by Iron Man, and then Black Spider.

Recently, Tony Stark had been bugging Ethan to teach him a few fighting techniques.

After attending an upper-class banquet with Stephen the night before, Ethan had no plans today.

Well, truthfully, he rarely had plans.

Time to shake things up.

Clapping his hands, Ethan called out cheerfully, "Girls, rise and shine! Time to fight some criminals!"

"Lame~" Gwen groaned playfully.

"Brother~" Jessica mumbled, floating midair with silver light wrapped around her ankles.

"Master~" Felicia purred.

Gwen flipped upside down, her feet sticking to the ceiling as she leaned close to Ethan, her soft hair brushing against him.

With a teasing smile, she said, "It's not even a weekday. Don't we get to sleep in?"

"Rare~," Jessica echoed with a smile. "What do you want for breakfast, brother? I'll cook!"

Felicia, light as a feather, landed atop the wardrobe. She bent down to rummage inside, striking an elegantly difficult pose.

"Master, what do you want to wear today? I'll grab it for you~"

Their powers had become second nature now.

And Ethan?

Well, he was getting used to it.

Thankfully, he could handle it.
