The automatic doors of the hospital slid open with a hiss as Jinwoo stepped out into the crisp daylight, the faint scent of antiseptic fading behind him.
Choi Yoora walked by his side, her hospital ID badge still clipped to her coat, though her steps carried a newfound confidence. Jinwoo glanced at her sideways.
"You really quit?" he asked.
She nodded, smiling. "I handed in my resignation this morning. I mean… I awakened as an A-rank Hunter. I'm not going to spend my life wrapping bandages when I could be clearing gates for millions."
"Smart," Jinwoo said simply.
But before they could even cross the street, a tall man in a sharp suit stood in their path. His hair was cropped short, his eyes hidden behind dark glasses—but his presence radiated discipline and strength.
He bowed slightly. "Mr. Sung."
Jinwoo paused, eyebrows raising slightly.
"I'm Woo Jinchul," the man continued, "Chief Inspector of the Korean Hunter Association."
"The Chief Inspector of the Korean Hunter Association?" Yoora echoed, blinking in surprise.
"Yes." Woo Jinchul straightened up. "We've been waiting for you to be discharged before approaching you. We understand you must've had your reasons for remaining in the hospital even after recovering."
Jinwoo's lips curved into a small smile.
'It's really nice to be strong…' he thought. 'Being treated this way by the Chief Inspector of the Korean Hunter Association…'
"We're aware that you've undergone a Second Awakening, Mr. Sung," Woo Jinchul continued, voice firm but respectful. "We'd like to formally invite you to the Association headquarters for proper re-evaluation. A ranking test."
Jinwoo chuckled lightly. "I appreciate the offer—and the respect—but I'll have to pass for now."
Woo Jinchul blinked. "Pass?"
The Chief Inspector looked as if he wanted to protest, but Jinwoo was already stepping forward.
"Take her instead," he said, gently guiding Choi Yoora forward with a hand on her back. "She just awakened. Test her."
"Huh?" Yoora glanced at him in surprise.
"But, sir…" Woo Jinchul began, brow furrowed. "That wasn't exactly—"
Jinwoo was already turning, walking away with calm, unhurried steps.
Woo Jinchul watched him go and sighed quietly, adjusting his tie. "The strongest ones are always like this…"
He looked down at Choi Yoora, who stood there blinking, unsure whether to salute, bow, or run.
He gave her a patient smile. "Well then, Miss… shall we?"
...
The door creaked open with a quiet click as Jinwoo stepped into his small apartment, finally free from the sterile scent of the hospital. The familiar scent of home wrapped around him—but something else caught his attention.
"Jinwoo?" a soft voice called.
He looked up just as Jin-ah, crouched by the door tying her shoes, looked up at him. Her wide eyes blinked several times as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"That... is that really you?" she gasped.
She stood up and walked over, her eyes scanning his face. The lineaments were his—same eyes, same nose, same bone structure—but now there was an almost unnatural perfection to him. His jaw was sharper, his skin flawless, and his eyes seemed to shine with confidence and charisma.
"You look like someone from a K-drama, but... better," she mumbled, cheeks flushed. Her hands reached up and gently poked at his cheeks, tugging and pressing as if to test if he was real.
Then her expression shifted. She pouted, lips curling in a frustrated frown. "Why didn't you tell me you reawakened?!"
Still tugging at his face, she added, "Do you know how shocked I was when I saw you fighting a gigantic golem on the news?! I thought I was hallucinating!"
"Sorry, Jin-ah…" Jinwoo said, scratching the back of his head awkwardly. "But what about you? Why didn't you come visit me? I was still in the hospital these past days."
"I know…" she mumbled, stepping back, arms crossing under her chest—causing her bust to bounce subtly. "I didn't want to. Not after you didn't even call me. Not even a single message to your cute little sister about becoming super strong?"
Jinwoo's eyes dipped for a split second—far lower than they should have.
'Wow… Her boobs look even bigger than last time—'
'Stop! She's your sister, damn it—'
But before he could mentally slap himself again, a cold notification echoed in his mind:
[A new quest has arrived!]
[Quest — Conquer your sister, Jin-ah]
[Rewards: Dagger Master, Healing Magic, and Lightning Magic all upgraded to A-rank.]
[Time Limit: 1 hour]
[Failure Penalty: Death]
'Fuck!' Jinwoo's mind screamed. 'You disgusting, perverted system! That's my fucking sister!'
He gritted his teeth, fingers twitching as if he could punch the Lust System interface out of existence.
But then the penalty flashed again—death. There was no avoiding it.
His heart pounded in frustration.
There's nothing I can do... right?
He slowly stepped closer. "Jin-ah…" he said, his voice low, unintentionally laced with an unnatural sensuality.
She blinked at him, cheeks going pink. "J-Jinwoo?"
Her heart fluttered. Jin-ah... he's your brother... why are you acting like this?
[You have charmed someone just with your voice!]
[+6 Charm]
[You have awakened one of the Lust Goddess's Skills — Sultry Voice!]
"You know..." he continued, making his face closer to hers.
'Incubus Eye!' he activated inwardly, and she became aroused, her nipples hardening. "Jinwoo... I—I have to go to school…" she said, all embarrassed. Jinwoo knew she was embarrassed, but she couldn't help feeling aroused.
'What's happening?' she thought, 'Why am I so aroused by my brother? Am I sick?'
She tried to push him away, but her body didn't react. She was stuck in place, frozen by his intense gaze.
Jinwoo watched her intently, his gaze never leaving hers. He could see the conflict in her eyes—the mix of shame and desire.
'Sorry, Jin-ah…' he thought to himself. He felt a pang of guilt for doing this to his sister, but there was no other way. If he didn't complete the quest, he would die.
"I want you to be mine," he said, his voice deep and husky.
"W-What?" Jin-ah exclaimed, her cheeks turning bright red. She couldn't believe what he was saying.
Had he gone mad?
But, for some reason, Jin-ah couldn't bring herself to push him away. There was something about him that was so captivating, so irresistible.
"J-Jinwoo… w-we can't do this…" she tried to say, but before she could finish, his lips were on hers.
To be continued...
