Samael stood atop the roof of a half-ruined building, his glowing eyes fixed on the battlefield.
Red wine swirled in his golden goblet, and a mischievous smile played on his lips. His cheerful murmurs echoed in the air:
"Getting rich is amazing… kill each other, more and more!"
The Marineford War was at its peak. Famous characters were dying one after another, and Samael—like a spectator at a bloody play—profited from each death.
Countless souls surged toward him for reincarnation.
So many that he even felt like encouraging the warriors: "Destroy each other faster!"
This world is truly amazing... He had decided to visit this universe for fun from now on.
Maybe it was love at first sight—love for the world of One Piece.
Samael's power growth** was no longer deniable.
After the reincarnation of countless characters by the angels of reincarnation [The Divine Dimension of Reincarnation], he had now expanded to the size of a dwarf planet.
Even his sixth sense told him that with the reincarnation of Whitebeard, his divine core evolve.
Suddenly, a scream pulled him out of his thoughts:
"Ace!!!"
Luffy had screamed with shocked eyes.
Samael only smirked—not out of malice, but from the joy of the war's end and the beginning of reincarnation.
He was so delighted he even felt like clapping for Sakazuki!
The world of One Piece was a place where human lives were cheaper than dirt.
If there were a God of Death here, with this many daily deaths, it would surely become an inconceivable entity.
"Huff… fight faster, talk less!"
He was bored of lengthy monologues in the middle of battle. He had been watching from above for two hours and was growing tired.
Instead, he decided to analyze the laws of this world.
He closed his eyes. His awareness expanded beyond Marineford, across the oceans, enveloping the whole planet, even reaching distant galaxies. But suddenly—
"Aliens?!"
Civilizations several light-years away... possibly at Level 1 or 2, while the humans of this world hadn't even reached Level 0.
But Samael didn't care. He returned to analyzing Haki—how willpower could affect matter.
"If I copy Haki..."
But he stopped the thought. He was a higher-dimensional being; if he unleashed Haki, perhaps all life on the planet would vanish in an instant.
His spiritual energy alone could rival a supernova.
Suddenly, another cry was heard:
"One Piece… is real!"
Whitebeard—the strongest man in the world—had died standing. Samael looked at him in surprise.
"Even at this age, with this illness… how did this monster have such power?"
Maybe they were right: Never underestimate old men.

Ace felt the light of, but how was it possible? He was sure he had died in Luffy's arms. He had been killed.
It was impossible to be alive... and yet, now he was opening his eyes and standing on his feet.
When he saw the face in front of him, his breath caught in his throat.
His father.
But how? Was this a hallucination? The final trick of a dying brain?
"Gurarara… looks like you're awake."
A familiar voice. Whitebeard, with his white mustache and massive frame, was looking at him. Ace flinched quickly. No, this wasn't a hallucination.
His father was there, sitting on a chair, a large table before him. And across from him… a humanoid being with an almost angelic appearance was sitting calmly, smiling gently.
"Father… what's going on here?"
Part of Ace begged for this to be real. Not a fantasy, not the brain's final illusion.
"Gurarara… sit, and I'll explain." Whitebeard laughed and gestured toward the third chair.
Ace sat without hesitation, but his curious gaze remained fixed on that unknown being—Samael.
Whitebeard began to explain: after death, he had awakened in this mysterious space.
Samael had introduced himself as the "God of Reincarnation," the one who sent souls to a new world. He explained everything to Ace.
"I thought I'd seen all the wonders of the world… but this? Gurarara! Life is truly full of surprises." Whitebeard admitted with laughter to the limitations of his former mindset.
Ace was still in shock. "Unbelievable… umm, great god, may I ask—do the others get reincarnated too?"
Samael answered with a soft smile: "Of course. They have been sent by my angels to a new world. A place that will reunite you."
"Well… Mr. Edward and Mr. Ace, do you accept my offer?" Samael glanced between the two.
Whitebeard burst out laughing: "Gurarara! Of course I accept. That way I can see my sons again. Roger's gonna be so jealous!"
Ace looked at his father and quietly said: "If Father agrees… then I accept too." Joy surged within him. Maybe he really could see everyone again...
With their answer, Samael's smile widened. The new world he had in mind for them was "Gintama."
The thought of Whitebeard meeting Gintoki Sakata was so hilarious that even Samael laughed aloud.
