Catherine's POV
I walked out towards the other section to get some milky candies for Dav. He loved them and had been craving one since we arrived in New York.
My heart burned with anger as I thought about Emilia's earlier confrontation. How could she show her face after everything she did? So shameless.
But I had other plans for her. She had no idea what was coming.
I wouldn't have bothered responding to them if not the fact I was stunned to see the little child, who looked just like Dav.
His eyes, nose, and everything I could pick were just flashing through my mind as I picked out the branded milky candy from the stalls and lifted it up to Dav.
"Yeah, mum, I love this one," he shouted, excited with a smile on his face. "Please, mum, can you get more for me?" he asked after I dropped the candy, and I smiled, running my hands through his hair.
"Of course, sweetheart, mum is sure to get more for you," I said, and he smiled excitedly.
